Experiencia positiva: I think that my sister is safe here but not everyone is trained to deal with people who are mentally challenged and having psychiatric issues and need extra care. I think the nursing staff should be able to take into consideration what the legal guardian has consents over and should put the immediate needs of the patient and outside physicians that treat the patient on a regular basis to call with current medication orders instead of the facility following the orders from the ER who has only seen the patient for a day or so. I understand doctors orders but when they are not current and the facility is putting the patient in danger instead of calling the patient’s current psychiatrist who could obviously help the patient immediately instead of waiting through the weekend until Monday or whenever their psychiatrist will show up. Something they couldn’t verify. The nursing home needs to change their policy to benefit the patient.

Experiencia fantástica: My aunt has been at The Pine for a few years now. They have so many activities to do throughout the day. My aunt loves that she can get her hair done right downstairs! She had made friends with the staff, other patients and their family. Thank you for being kind to her!!
