Experiencia fantástica: My mom passed on 1/4/23. She had a long illness and was at sachem with hospice since Oct 2021. We could not care for her at home. She was alert and oriented. The staff was amazing. They were so respectful , kind , loving and took excellent care of my mom. They are dedicated and we’re always there to answer questions, help and my mom never had to wait for help like at other facilities. A special shout out to my moms loving aid Cathy (with the blonde hair and bun in her hair as my mom would say ) was the most kind loving hardworking person I have ever met. My mom loves you Cathy. You are an amazing person with a heart of gold. She truly loved you and I will be forever grateful. God bless you. ❤️????????

Experiencia fantástica: Moving a family member to a nursing home is not easy and certainly not something we wanted to do. We called a number of facilities and were discouraged with the results until we found Ashlyn, the director of admissions at Sachem. Ashlyn took my calls and explained the admissions process. She made a stressful time as easy as she could for us. Our family member is new to Sachem, but I must say we are very impressed with the entire staff. They introduced themselves to us and welcomed their new resident with smiles and an assurance that they were there for her.

Experiencia positiva: My mother was here for a few months while sick with cancer. All the nurses treated her so well, they took great care of her. Specifically I remember Lugo and DJ are they two male nurses who were always so great. These people made this troubling time in our lives a little bit easier and more pleasant. Leaving only 4 stars because the billing department is run by some guy who doesnt want to work even half as hard as nurses on the floor.
