Burnsville Surgery Center

Experiencia fantástica: I’ve been a patient at Burnsville Surgery Center a few times and every single time, the experience is warm, welcoming and comfortable. The front office staff are quick and efficient. I’ve never had to wait more than 5 or 10 minutes to get taken back to begin my appointment. Then, once I’m back in the room, the nurses are always accommodating and thorough when it comes to the paperwork and making sure I have what I need leading up to my procedures. Once I am ready for my procedure, the staff inside the operating room are welcoming, friendly, and always willing to answer any questions i have and make sure I’m comfortable before the procedure begins, during and at the end. I’ve always seen Dr. O’Brien and I cannot say enough about him. During my procedures, he has always talked to me and explained what it is that he is doing and why he is doing it. He also explains how it should feel so I know exactly what to expect. I will likely need more procedures in the future and I look forward to it knowing how wonderful the staff here is.

Experiencia fantástica: Excellent care from the moment I walked in through the moment I walked out. Everyone was incredibly kind & caring, and took their time explaining every step & answering every question I had. I felt heard, valued, and confident in their hands. I would absolutely recommend this center.

Experiencia positiva: Had surgery here Staff was friendly. But when it comes to auto immune rare cases they have a hard time figuring out the needs of the patient. They tried to get in and out as fast as possible, from presurgery to post recovery. The OR was surprisingly warm 70 degrees I was told. First time I've been in a warm OR. The staff did seem to be good at the surgery though.

Experiencia positiva: So overall, the facility is nice and the doctors are great. HOWEVER, I do have a problem with the billing department. Expecting somebody to pay back $X,XXX amount of money in 6 months (that's right 6 MONTHS) and then the best extension they can do is 12 months, is VERY UNREASONABLE!!! Not everybody has that kind of money on hand. It seems people forget that people have other bills that have to be paid to include other medical bills. People in a situation like this aren't saying they're not going to pay, all were asking for is some compassion and more flexible payment plans. Blatantly stating we can't go over a year no matter the amount it seems like (my wife owes a 4 digit amount) is I'm sorry, unreasonable
