Experiencia fantástica: In February, I made a decision to train for the Ohio Senior Olympics (Track & Field; Discus; the last time I seriously competed was in 1973). Deciding to compete after all these years was not made without some trepidation. However, since my wife & I have always been very active, I figured “Why not?” Training was going ok until just 3 ½ weeks before the competition I slightly pulled a calf muscle while playing pickleball. Since it was “just a slight pull” I kept up my workout schedule; two days later I could barely walk. I told my wife that there was no way I would be able to throw the discus. She made me call Susan. I limped into On-Point on May 23rd, exactly three weeks before the June 13 competition. First off, her evaluation of why/how it happened was amazing – a slightly sprained ankle a few months earlier, caused by a pea-sized knot in my planar-fascia, limited the rotation of my calf muscle while playing pickleball – Ding, Bang, Ow! When I told her competition was in just three weeks, she replied, “Don’t worry, I’ll have you all fixed up by then” (of course, I didn’t believe it, but I trusted). Not only did her needling therapy promote healing, but she gave me a series of exercises designed to “re-train” my calf to avoid another injury. (Oh yeah, she also worked on my shoulder, but that tale is for another time). Long story short; I wound up winning a Gold Medal for my age division (70-74) in a completion that was quite close and fairly intense. Had I not gone in to see Susan, competing would have been doubtful; winning totally out of the question! Many people were instrumental in this journey of mine; Susan is DEFINITELY one of them! Thank you, Susan!

Experiencia fantástica: Susan and her practice are different than most run of the mill PTs. She spends time addressing all of your concerns and explains why things are happening and how to get better. I came to her with a hip issue and shortly after I began seeing her, I sprained my ankle. She took time to continue addressing both of my issues. The dry needling/cupping/manual therapy are making such a positive difference for how I feel. Plus her knowledge base on area surgeons is valuable!

Experiencia fantástica: I initially considered coming to On Point after reading previous reviews that praised Susan's knowledge and skill base. I have been struggling with ongoing weakness and pain stemming from a shoulder injury almost 8 years ago. Over this time I had seen multiple doctors who naturally referred me to physical therapists and I ended up going through 2 different physical therapists and neither provided me with any significant relief over atleast 8 weeks of working with each of them. I had been losing hope that I would ever be able to work out again, until I came to On Point. From my initial intake I was really impressed as Susan was so attentive to my concerns and approached my case with such an open mind. She took a very thorough history and discussed multiple ideas she had in how she would approach my treatment. Since then she has continued to provide me excellent care and, most importantly, relief. Her technique of dry needling, which I had never previously experienced, is excellent and can provide immense relief almost immediately. Over just a few weeks of working with her I have experienced significant relief and improvement from shoulder dysfunction and discomfort that has been ailing me for years. I can not express enough how much I appreciate her knowledge, skill, and dedication. I would recommend On Point Physical Therapy to anyone in need of PT.

Susan’s application of dry needling therapy literally took the pain away. Only have to go back occasionally for maintenance. She is a true caring professional. I will be forever grateful!!

First time a physio or doctor connected my scapula issues to a childhood injury instead of assume the usually "computer neck" even though I had no neck soreness. The atmosphere here is always so light and welcoming. They identify right away what is going on and explain it well. Great at immediate pain relief and long term strengthening plans. I've been around enough dancers to know how important the care of every injury is. They take the same care into every injury they see. They also see patients of a wide age range and physical ability. I still make the trip out to see them even though I no longer work in the area. Highly HIGHLY recommend.

Experiencia fantástica: On Point is the absolute best in the business! Susan Masturzo accurately diagnosed my daughter's injury when another PT group was unable to do so. Susan referred us to a surgeon who could address my daughter's unusual condition. Susan saw my daughter through surgery and has provided effective, innovative and compassionate rehab. When I suffered an ACL tear, I chose On Point for my rehab. They have been fantastic! Val has been patient and compassionate. Under their care, I am returning to dance as has my daughter. I cannot recommend On Point enough!

Experiencia fantástica: I was recently diagnosed with Osteoarthritis. I had no idea that was my problem so I tried to make it a priority to learn about OA. I was referred to On Point by a friend and I really feel like I lucked out. Ellen is a fountain of knowledge and was able to help me recover enough to learn what types of things were triggering inflammation. They fight for every one of their patients and they put everything they have into their work. Everyone working there is extremely helpful and supportive.

Ellen is so knowledgeable and kind about what you experience when diagnosed and treated for breast cancer that she helps you move past the trauma into a place of recovery - physically and emotionally. I give Ellen and On Point 5 stars because as a company they provide privacy for breast cancer patients and that is invaluable as you move along in your journey. Thank you Ellen!

Experiencia fantástica: On Pointe Physical is an amazing physical therapy facility that takes the time to Iisten and individualize therapy to meet the needs of each client. They offer various therapies and give exercises to go along with each therapy. My daughter has been visiting On Pointe for years to fix dance injuries and correct body positions in order to stay safe in her dance career. This facility is always available and makes a way for you to get services, with or without insurance!

After having my bicep tendon surgically reattached , and going somewhere else to do PT for over 10 weeks, with no gains, and continued loss of range of motion, and horrible pain, I was referred to On Point for therapy. In just one session, I went from barely being able to raise my arm to waist height, toI being able to raise my arm up over my head!! They are the friendliest, most truly caring physical therapists out there! They know exactly what methods are needed to be used to help you. I can't say enough good about this business!!!

Experiencia fantástica: I go to On Point Physical Therapy for strength training and pain reduction. Ellen does a great job pacing the strength-based and aerobic exercises without pushing past energy levels. She understands that the maximum level of exertion chronic pain patients can tolerate is low and works within those limits to gradually increase the exercises. She is compassionate, understanding, and encouraging. Ellen and Susan work well with each other and create an inviting, lively environment. They both listen to their patients and work with them to identify an effective dry needling treatment. Dry needling has helped with my mobility and pain. The interns are also friendly and attentive. I also appreciate the COVID precautions they undertake: taking everyone’s temperature before entry, requiring masks, disinfecting the equipment and tables between patients, installing curtains between patient tables, and more. Before choosing a PT center, I called a variety of PT centers in the area to inquire about their prevention measures and On Point Physical Therapy had the most measures in place. Overall, this is a great physical therapy center and I would highly recommend it to others.

She understands a dancer's body and what they need to get better fast. Dry needling is SO effective and it has prolonged my professional dance career. They are knowledgeable and caring and actually made a huge difference in my recovery from breast cancer surgery. Experiencia fantástica: My physical therapist, Ellen, is the best at what she does. I have seen her numerous times over the years for different things. The first time was lymphedema-related issues, which she was able to get under control quickly. More recently, I saw Ellen for back pain due to a herniated disk. Within two weeks, my pain had lessened significantly and my mobility had increased. Ellen is patient and understanding, yet direct in her approach. I would never go to anyone else!

Experiencia fantástica: Here's a short list of the stuff I've injured: torn muscle, right lower back torn muscle, left lower abs tendonitis, right hip tendonitis, left and right shoulder L5 yanked out of place by a muscle spasm pinched nerve, right side of neck torn rotator cuff Susan has successfully treated ALL of these injuries. Without her skill I would not be able to move.

Experiencia fantástica: Susan has a natural ability to diagnose and treat. I had a knee injury (so I thought) that caused tremendous pain for a few months. I could barely walk and would have stabbing pains. Finally I went to Susan. She noticed I had a muscle issue and dry needled it. I walked up 2 flights of stairs on my way out and without pain. Wow! She has fixed other things with dry needling and I wouldn't go to anyone else.

Experiencia fantástica: Susan knew before anyone else that I had a stress fracture. The other doctors thought I had a labrum hip tear. Turns out I had two pelvic stress fractures. Highly recommend Susan! Also the sports medicine doctor that she referred me to (Dr. Shah) says Susan is great! (I was telling him my experiences with the other doctors/chiropractors)

In just a few sessions, Susan was able to pinpoint the problem and reduce the pain and swelling. On top of that, she was also able to help reduce the daily pain I have from MS. Experiencia fantástica: I had a pinched nerve in my lower back. It was so bad I could not stand upright for more than one minute without considerable pain. After Susan worked on it for about 1 hour it was probably 80% better. I had another session a week later and it is now 100% better. In the time I have spent at On Point Physical Therapy the thing that impresses me the most about Susan is she genuinely cares about the people she treats.

Experiencia fantástica: My daughter is an Irish dancer who has had numerous fractures. We use On Point physical therapy for her recovery. The On Point staff teaches her proper techniques and exercises to avoid future injuries. They get her back on her "dancing" feet again.
