Experiencia positiva: My mother came here in an ambulance. We we were parked in the hallway of the ER entrance for over 6 hours before finally getting a triage room. During that time I don't even thing they took her temperature despite the fact she was in both severe physical and mental distress. Staff with the exception of a couple nursing assistants who took pity on our situation were very dismissive, unhelpful and curt when asked about the long waiting time, and it was always someone else's problem. Honestly it felt like they wanted her situation to go critical before they could be bothered to do anything. Once we finally got to the doctors things got much better. The nurses and doctors were all helpful and provided a decent standard of care. 3 stars because such long wait times are unacceptable, especially for a patient coming off of an ambulance.

Experiencia positiva: Thank you UNC Health Chapel Hill for everything you have done over the years to help me. I never have a problem with any of the doctors that work with the team. I'm thankful for the knowledge that they do everyday. People have their reasons for certain doctors and hospitals they like but I prefer UNC Health Chapel Hill.

Experiencia fantástica: Thank you UNC for taking great care.This hospital was stellar in my relatives care. He had a day procedure but had special needs besides the normal day situation and from start to finish they kindly listened to him, helping qwith kindness from check in to check out. I waited the doctor called me and 30 minutes before check out the nurse called me with text updates in-between all day. Great communication with family. The hospital has a LOT of construction but had traffic flow organized well. TIP: Come with a little extra time for parking and to walk and parking will cost.
