Immediate Care Medical Center Chico

Experiencia positiva: Bad News, They have closed. A nice surprise. I have great reluctance for the medical profession but today I had to see someone for 3 weeks of a sinus issue. I was well taken care of by both receptionists, the assistant Ashley, and the PA Cindy. Each one took the time to listen, by being friendly, helpful and courteous. The building could use some remodeling. However, my experience with the staff was very favorable.

Experiencia fantástica: I had an emergency, and my dad recommended this place to me. Everyone here was kind and respectful. I felt safe and comfortable, and the issue was quickly handled. The one thing I have a complaint about. Is communication. You have to check on their website constantly for messages, because even though for the most part their good about calling you and leaving messages, but somebody there drops the ball a little too much. I was told I wouldn't be charged for a visit because no one informed me that my medication was prescribed and waiting at rite aid. About 2-3 weeks later, they charged me anyway. Then, they charged me again for something else. Even though I had already paid everything up front. It was frustrating, but I'd still go back to them for help. Just keep an eye on the website for messages.

Experiencia fantástica: I was seen by an intern (forgot his name) and Patty (Patricia Stein, NP). They were both kind and empathetic to how I was feeling. They were able to test me for strep throat and it came back positive. They sent over my prescription to CVS. All the staff there was super helpful from start to finish. Will recommend!

Experiencia positiva: I went in at 8 and had to wait in my car because I had flu symptoms, which I completely understand. I was unhappy I waited 3 hours for a 5 minute evaluation. I understand that things get busy but they should better update patients waiting outside, I only got an update when I asked after waiting 2 hours. I was worried they forgot about me. Once I got inside my appointment went very well and nice an quickly, everyone did a great job and was very informative.
