Experiencia fantástica: Dan Cyr is hands-down the best physical therapist in the Triangle area! The average PT practice offers therapists that follow a script, distribute cookie cutter exercises to do at home and then check boxes for insurance. Dan is a refreshing contrast to this. He is experienced, highly knowledgeable, courteous, funny and takes a genuine interest in your care. His approach offers a more personalized plan for your therapy and he holds you accountable to it. Without hesitation, I will continue to recommend Dan and his team to anyone looking for PT. For those looking for some detail... this is my second time coming to Dan. First time was for an ankle fracture. This time, I dislocated my right shoulder while doing the military press. This resulted in an anterior labrum tear with a Bony Bankart lesion. Surgery was recommended but was told that I could "potentially" address this with PT. I worked with Dan for months on breaking up the scar tissue, regaining strength and, ultimately, improving mobility through various extreme stretching sessions. During this time, Dan did not treat me like a patient. He treated me like a friend. He was genuinely interested in my recovery and I'm very thankful for that. My shoulder feels great and I avoided surgery. Give this man his flowers!

Experiencia fantástica: I went to Response Therapy after an urgent care visit for a herniated disc. Jeffrey was my PT but the entire staff was helpful and very comfortable to be around. Jeffrey treated me with care and very informative of the exercises to help me get better. I was able to schedule appointments easily and quickly. I looked forward to my time there and did not have to do surgery or shots! I would recommend Respnse to anyone looking for a comfortable, relaxed atmosphere with a lot of knowledge and care.

Experiencia fantástica: I went to Response Physical Therapy to treat shoulder pain resulting from my tennis addiction. I will say that I was skeptical, because I have not had much luck with PT in the past. The first day I went to PT, Jeffrey did a full evaluation and asked lots of questions. He diagnosed the issue as a tendonitis in my bicep tendon resulting from weak shoulder muscles that allowed the tendon to stretch beyond what was normal. Over the course of 6 weeks we focused on strengthening my shoulder. I also laid off tennis for a while so the tendon could heal. I have now started back playing and so far no pain. I'm very happy with the staff at Response PT (especially Jeffrey) and would definitely recommend them. Thank you Response PT!

Experiencia fantástica: I highly recommend Jeffrey at Response Physical Therapy! I went to see him after having foot surgery and my entire experience was fantastic. The staff is extremely helpful and great to work with. Jeffrey helped me recover from foot surgery quickly, but also addressed other areas I injured from compensation prior to my surgery. I appreciated that he did a full evaluation instead of just looking at one area. After only a few months of PT, I am fully back to working out and feeling so much better! My 12 year-old son also saw Jeffrey for Sever's disease. PT was a last resort for the pain caused by Sever's, but the stretches and care he received from Jeffrey has left him free of pain and able to participate in sports again! He was extremely thorough as he helped us navigate several issues my son was dealing with. My son enjoyed working with Jeffrey and all of the student interns who assist Jeffrey.

Experiencia fantástica: I just wanted to share my experience with Response Pt and therapist Jeffrey Harrington. I went in for an issue that I was having with my neck and arm that had been going on for over a month. I had been to my primary care provider and the ER and was given a date for a month out to have an MRI done. I was in terrible pain and was getting worse by the day. I met with Jeffrey, and he performed an assessment and could see the level of pain I was in and the starting stages of losing mobility in my hands. He suggested that I get an MRI done asap to make sure I didn’t have a larger problem going on. I explained to him how I had been put off until a month later to get an appointment. He couldn’t believe that I was going to have to wait that long and said that he would try to help me get in sooner for an MRI. He made some calls and the next morning at 7AM I got a call and was able to get an MRI the next day. With this being said it’s a great thing that I got in soon because the MRI revealed that I had major cervical spine issues going on and now I am scheduled for an urgent spine major operation next week in order to save my mobility in my arm. It’s not a simple operation they are going to have to rebuild by cervical from C-1 through C-7. I can’t say thank you enough to this office and Jeffrey, they more than likely have saved my mobility in my arm if the operation goes smoothly and works. For anyone that is having an issue I highly recommend this practice, now I have a huge ordeal that I am going to be facing in the next few months and when it’s time for PT I know where I am going. It’s nice know that there are still people in the medical practice that listen to their patients and takes the time to help them. God bless you all! Daniel

Experiencia fantástica: Staff is compassionate and professional. Getting care at this facility was always a highlight of my week. My facility was in McGregor village, which was close to home. Jeff, my pt, was helping me with an impossible knee (10 surgeries). Our goal was to get me biking again, and thanks to my therapist and his assistants, I am well on my way to a healthier lifestyle.

(Jeffrey and Karen are wonderful too) I contacted Jenny back in February (referral from a friend of mine and former patient) and asked to speak to Dan about an issue I was having with my shoulder that I wanted his opinion on. He was with a patient at the time, but gave me a call right back as soon as he was finished. We talked for about 20 minutes on the phone and he said he would really like to check me out to give me a true assessment, but he gave me the greatest impression over the phone. I could tell he was truly genuine and I was instantly giddy to get my shoulder fixed. I was diagnosed with having a shoulder impingement in my right (throwing) arm and my scapula was not firing correctly allowing my humeral head to ride too high. I was about to start Spring softball, so I was concerned about being shut down for the season, but Dan was able to make his assessment and put a plan together to allow me to keep playing and I was excited. We worked together twice a week for the next 6 months and I was able to keep playing, avoid surgery and the extreme amount of out of pocket expenses that come along with seeing an Ortho Dr. (2020 experience with all of this) Dan and Jenny were always accommodating to any scheduling needs and always very kind/thoughtful. Dan is a joy to be around and share laughs with. I will always cherish and miss the bench in the Raleigh office. Ask Dan about it sometime for a good laugh! Thank you Dan (and team) for getting my arm back to where it needs to be, so I can throw football, softball and children like I used to!

Experiencia fantástica: I can't say enough about Dan and his team. My surgeon told me I really got my money's worth with all the work he had to do to repair my rotator cuff and bicep tendon. It's been about 4 1/2 months since surgery and Dan and team have me feeling great. I'm back to 100% mobility, hitting the gym again and getting close to equal strength in both shoulders! Highly recommend the Response Physical team! Great people and great care.

She has vast knowledge and expertise and accurately diagnosed my lower back pain on the very first visit, even prior to my MRI, through clinical therapy. I am working through a herniated disc with therapy and her instruction and guidance. She is amazing! Straight shooter, she will tell you how it is, and what you need to do to avoid surgery. Everything she has told me and recommended (stretches and more) has helped me tremendously in my recovery journey.

Experiencia fantástica: I came in because I was training for a marathon and was having hip pain. I worked with Jaime for about 6 weeks to build up some additional strength, and have been running pain free for a few months now. Jaime also taught me some other exercises that are important for future injury prevention in running. I am so thankful I came in, and can’t recommend Jaime enough!

Experiencia fantástica: I can't speak highly enough regarding the the extraordinary team at Response PT. I have had experience with a number of physical therapists over the years, and none come close. Their command of anatomy and ability to calibrate to both the injury, gender, and the age of their patient ensures the best possible rehabilitation process possible.Their hands on approach, attention to detail, and monitoring from week to week vastly exceeds anything I have ever experienced. They helped me both pre- and post surgery on my ankle. I am not sure I'd be walking with out a limp and chronic pain but for them. You're in good hands at Response. Hard work, but they make PT fun. I don't care if your'e a professional athlete or eighty years old, Response will get you where you want to go.

I was told I would likely have to have surgery on my knee in order to get back to my normal activities, but after a few months of therapy, I have my range of motion, no pain, and NO surgery! Jeffrey is very detail oriented and in-tune with my specific needs and adapted our regimen based on the activities I love and enjoy. Four months after my shoulder surgery I have over 90% complete range of emotion And with at home therapy will continue to improve to 100% I can’t say enough about the staff. The care, Knowledge and professional manner in which they operate is top-notch. Dan has been the primary therapist during my physical therapy and I have also gone to Karen and Jeffrey Who are also amazing! It’s also nice that when you call you don’t get an answering machine or get placed on hold, there is usually always someone to pick up the phone whenever you need to make an appointment or need any questions answered. AND it’s a very fun environment!!

This was my first time going to PT and I'm so happy with how much I improved. I started seeing Jeffrey for some lower leg/shin pain and he worked with me to create an individualized plan to get me back to running. He introduced me to various strength training techniques, band exercises, and other non-contact workouts that helped keep my body strong while trying to keep weight off of my hurt leg. Once I began getting back into running, he helped me continue these exercises and showed me how to stay strong moving forward. I actually feel better running now than I did before my injury! This entire process has been great and I'm so thankful for what Response PT has been able to do for me.

My daughter was sidelined from soccer for 7 months with an ankle injury. Experiencia fantástica: Dan and Robin are amazing to work with. I had neck pain for nearly two years, and Dan and Robin worked together, did a lot of great dry needling, and brought the pain down. I've gone to a lot of the chain physical therapy places, but this place was the best Physical Therapy I've had so far. They don't just massage you for 15 minutes, and give you exercises to do for the next 30. Nope, they really focus on you for the entire session, and do a lot of great hands on work. Can't recommend them enough! Great work Dan and Robin.

After going to another PT group for a month and not making much progress a friend recommended Dan at Response PT. I made so much progress in a shorter amount of time. Although they are outside of our insurance, we love the care and service of Response PT so much that my family and I have been seeing them whenever the need pops up for years. As a D1 collegiate athlete, I’ve had my fair share of injuries and have worked with many PT’s. Being post surgical in the midst of a long recovery, there is no one I would rather have looking over my rehab and return to play.

He is thorough, extremely knowledgeable and works with you one on one at every session (not like a lot of PTs that give you an exercise, go on to the next person then come back and check on you). Experiencia fantástica: I have been a patient of Dan's for almost 4 years now. I saw him before and after a knee surgery and then followed him when he opened up his own practice. Then needing hip surgery, I went back to him for pre and post op therapy. I have never "enjoyed PT", until I started seeing him. He truly has a passion & dedication to help his patients feel better, and pushes you to be the best you can be. Fast foward to 1.5 years after hip surgery, I needed therapy again for back and hip pain. I then started to see Jane, and let me tell you, she is also amazing!! She takes the time to listen to you and give you a treatment plan specific to your needs. I tell everyone I know about Response PT, and would never go to anyone else! The entire staff there makes you feel welcomed, and treats you like family.

During a 6-week period, I worked with each of their therapists and they were all so attentive, detail oriented, helpful, and invested in my recovery.
