Experiencia positiva: The night nurse was a terror to my Dad. He was cold a lot of nights but he didnt want to use the buzzer to call her. If she came eventually to shut off the light she was rude and mean. There is a couple of aides who have treated my father by mocking him. I gave 3 stars instead of 1 because of a few of the staff was good to Dad.

Experiencia fantástica: My husband needed skilled nursing rehabilitation services. Hancock Hall fulfilled his needs and surpassed our expectations. The staff were friendly, professional and patient. The Therapeutic Team were amazing and had my husband's mobility back to where he was able to get home sooner than anticipated. There was not one person on the milieu team that was not receptive to our needs and accommodating my husband's required needs to get home. Services needed at home were arranged before we got home.

Experiencia fantástica: Amazing staff. It makes you feel at home and at ease and takes the stress out of caring for sick loved one. The aids and nurses are very patient, kind, and knowledgeable. The physical therapists got my husband walking quicker than expected. Therapy encourages you to maximize your goals. The admission and discharge was seamless and we were very pleased and thankful to be here.

Experiencia fantástica: First, I have to say it was a difficult journey getting to Hancock Hall. Not realizing the level of care and attention would be so dramatically different in the three facilities my mother resided in prior to Hancock Hall. My family and I were not pleased with the level of care that she was receiving and had to constantly move her, (each time thinking I had found the right place for her). With each move my mother was not happy or comfortable. But Kayla Todd (Admission Coordinator/Case Manager) at Hancock Hall helped make a very difficult decision into a very comfortable transition. I visit my mother every day and can honestly say it is always a delightful visit. I no longer feel like her caregiver, but a daughter once again. The staff has lived up to all that Kayla said they would do in taking care of my mother in her personal and medical needs. Each and every person on staff has a positive characteristic in care giving. And I am especially touched by the fact that I have NOT passed ONE staff member that has not passed by me without sharing pleasantries and sharing my mothers participation in activities there. I honestly feel confident that my mother is now getting the quality of care she deserves. I must also share that this is a family owned business and having had the opportunity to see the owner there every day overseeing the management of care is refreshing and reassuring. I thank her and her staff for their caring heart spirit. With much relief, Arlene Bennett

Experiencia fantástica: From the very first assessment interview with Linda to the finishing up of paperwork after my mother's death, my family's dealings with Hancock Hall had been above and BEYOND all expectation of personal care and professionalism. It is obvious that the staff do their utmost to maintain the dignity of the residents by maintaining a CLEAN environment and appropriate activities. (There was never, in my experience, the horrid smell of urine wafting through the hallways, as is typical in most of the nursing homes I have ever visited!) And when I say the "staff", I mean EVERY SINGLE EMPLOYEE whose path we crossed, looked me in the eye, smiled and nodded or spoke a greeting, from the VP (Jan?) to the volunteers that served snacks around 3:30pm and the janitor. The ladies in the financial office were ever so competent and helpful. The nurses and doctor communicated clearly and regularly about any changes in my mother's condition. My family cared for my mother at her home until our mental, physical and emotional resources were exhausted. Once Hancock Hall took over, we could then be with my mother and she with us in an atmosphere of love, peace and dignity rather than guilt and frustration. Hancock hall was a blessing from heaven in every respect! I can't imagine why anyone would rate this facility less than 5 stars!
