Experiencia fantástica: The thing I appreciate most about Dr. Chu is her integrity. She was very upfront about what to expect from her treatment, in what timeframe I should expect to see improvement, and the limitations of chiropractic care. As someone who wasn't that familiar with chiropractic, and being generally wary of any doctors that recommend somewhat indefinite care approaches, this was VERY impressive for me to hear right off the bat. I've only ever seen one other chiropractor, who didn't solve my issue or have a definitive plan on when I should expect to see improvements (my interpretation of this was that I would need to keep going back/paying). Suffice to say I didn't see the other doctor for long. Dr. Chu's approach, frankly, was refreshing. All that said, Dr. Chu provided results, which is what's most important right? I injured my shoulder weightlifting, and had limited mobility and strength in my right shoulder. I thought it would go away naturally, but after several months of no improvement, I finally sought treatment. It was painful, but very effective - I felt improvement after the first treatment, and long story short, the subsequent treatments fully resolved my issue. I'm not going to try and explain the technique she used, but the gist of what I understood was that the muscle work that supplemented the adjustments is what actually fixed my injury. Bottom line, Dr. Chu is honest about what she can and can't do for you, and resolved the injury that other doctors couldn't. I couldn't recommend her highly enough.
