Experiencia fantástica: The admissions director was absolutely phenomenal. I was able to reach her after hours and even on weekends. That's a lot to say considering some previous locations I used only answered their phones from 8-5 Monday through Friday only. Seems like some of their competitors should take a page out of these folks book.

Experiencia fantástica: Pompano is a small, homelike nursing home who provided therapy for my aunt like they were family. Unlike most nursing home this nursing home greeted me every time I walked and staff was caring towards aunt like she was one of their family members. I highly recommend sending your loved one here because they will be well cared for.

Experiencia fantástica: This facility looks completely completely different when you go in from the last time I was here. I was here maybe 3 months ago and they’ve done a 180 degree change since then. None of those “nursing home” smells, the building is clean, the nurses are smiling, the patients look clean, hair brushed, looking tip top, the administrators door is open, the floors are shiny and the furniture isn’t dusty anymore, the dining room was playing music when I walked past it and the patients were in there playing dominoes. I’m guessing the only person who looks to have changed here is the administrator, Arva, so I’m thankful! She’s very pleasant to talk to and I was able to get info very quickly. My aunt is very happy with Pompano too! She told me it’s been a while since the building looked so good and they had a party last week with live entertainmen and that now housekeeping comes every day and cleans like theyre supposed to. I met with the administrator and told her about other concerns that I’ve had in the past like pests, phones not being answered, not enough activities and laundry issues and she shared what has been done to fix those problems and what the ongoing plans are to improve all the departments. I’m sure she’ll get the rest under control too It was really nice finally hearing someone take the time out to explain what’s being done and giving a minute to actually care about family concerns and hearing them without getting defensive and mad. I hope she stays and we get to see more good things in the future.
