FYZICAL Therapy & Balance Centers - Niles

Experiencia fantástica: I don't know where to begin when it comes to the whole team at Fyzical's Niles location so lets start here, I am in awe at the level of patience, care and compassion each member of this team has for ever person who walks through their door. My aunt has been managing her Parkinson's for nearly 24 years now but time and the malicious nature of the disease have taken their toll on her body. We have been to a handful of other PT locations, some in her hospital system and some outside of it, but we have never seen the results that we have seen from her time at Fyzical Niles. She is now in her second round sessions with her Physical Therapist Alvic, an exceptionally kind, knowledgeable and committed PT. He spends every minute of each hour long session pushing my aunt to work past and around the limitations of her disease with a level of compassion I have not seen at any other establishment we have spent time at. Alvic quickly learned her personality, what motivates her and how to engage with her in a way that keeps her trying her best the whole time. It is also very clear that everyone at Fyzical are keeping up with the progress of not only their own patients but every patient in there. Other PT's are periodically checking in, they know my aunt by name and are quick to recall how much progress she has made since the last time she was in. It is a welcoming and supportive environment from from the moment she walks through the door until the last minute of each session. The facility itself is clean, bright and very well kept. Everything they have in there makes practical sense and not an inch of space is wasted. The coolest and most useful piece of equipment they have for my aunt to use is this track on the ceiling across just over a quarter of the place. Patients wear a harness and are secured to the overhead track with a heavy-duty rope that then allows them to move without handheld mobility aids with no fear of falling to the floor. Of course Alvic is always at my Aunt's side to ensure her safety but not having to use her walker while tackling any activities and exercises Alvic presented to her has worked wonders for her confidence over time. It is very amazing to witness. I could go on for quite some time about how much I respect and appreciate the work this team does, the level of commitment they have for each patient's health, recovery and betterment or how impressive it is just to watch them work but here's a succinct anecdote that I think sums up how great this place is. On account of her Parkinson's my aunt has also developed dementia in the last 8 years, her short term memory has been ravaged and committing anything new to long term memory is a shot in the dark. When her second round of sessions was about to begin I was just reminding her we would be heading back to Fyzical in a few days and without any hesitation she asked, 'am I going to be seeing Alvic again?' I was shocked. The impact Alvic had on her, the effort he put into her health, was something she remembered 6 months after the last time they saw each other. This place and these people are incredible at what they do. If you or someone you know needs PT work, Fyzical in Niles would be the first place I'd recommend you check out.

Experiencia fantástica: I can’t even begin to tell you how great Fyzical in Niles is. After a back injury that caused nerve and muscle damage to my right leg, I was left with an uphill battle of getting the strength in my leg back. When I began physical therapy, I was unstable and using a walker. From my 1st appointment, I knew I was in good hands. My treatment and exercises were tailored to my specific needs and were adjusted as my needs changed. The sessions are always one on one, which is not always the case at other physical therapy offices. Their overhead system is unique and gave me the extra confidence when trying new exercises or things I hadn’t been able to do for awhile. I always knew I was safe and wouldn’t fall with my unstable leg. I primarily worked with Alvic, but also worked with Joerlyn and Ruth. All three were excellent physical therapists that worked hard to get me moving again. They were always thinking of new things that would help me progress further. Their motivation and kindness gave me the confidence to try these new things and ultimately become stronger. It’s amazing how far I’ve come since my surgery and I know it is because of Fyzical Niles’ awesome staff, therapists, and program.

Experiencia fantástica: It is my first time doing physical therapy and selected Fyzical did not disappoint. My primary PT is Alvic and I also have worked with Ruth, Maria and Ulises. They get to know their patients and their needs and help them get better with 1:1 care. They are all and I mean ALL are very professional, knowledgeable and personable. It’s like a big family there and they make it a fun environment. They are all such wonderful people and a great team! You can’t go wrong with any one of them. They have set the benchmark high and I can’t imagine going anywhere else.

Experiencia fantástica: Heard great things from a co-worker and the staff at FYZICAL in Niles did not disappoint. Had issues with dizziness. Alvic and Joerlyn were my primaries and both did an outstanding job. Professional,friendly,caring,and positive throughout. They were able to help control the dizziness with various exercises. Highly recommend

Experiencia fantástica: This is the place to come if you want very personal care. They’re one-on-one, therapist to patient, the whole appointment. No handing off to a PT assistant. They make you feel very important and encourage you every step of the way. They’re also very personable. A lot of laughing goes on among patients and therapist. All the therapist know other patients, just not their own. Plus, their results have a high success rates. It was hard to say goodbye.
