My practicing at home on my days without therapy visits have allowed me to improve as well. I appreciate the Therapists in giving of themselves for my recovery. They even went to one of my follow-up visits with my surgeon to make sure their treatment was in line with his recommendations. Really friendly and knowledgeable staff. Also super flexible with scheduling and getting me all the paperwork I needed for insurance and such. Shay is the best!

Experiencia fantástica: I am 6 weeks post full knee replacement, hiking and biking and very close to my target flexion of 135. Athletico helped me to understand the intense discomfort while working on flexion so I was not afraid. Athletico kept me motivated and those first weeks were hard. I think PT with Melanie and staff were essential to my recovery and rehab and grateful I was referred there.

Experiencia fantástica: Don’t walk, RUN to see Melanie and team at Athletico on Dobson and Chandler BLVD. I was skeptical of physical therapy and delayed my treatment as a result. It was not like I had experienced a major accident or event that caused my pain, so I didn't think PT was for me. I was wrong and sat in pain and discomfort much longer than I needed to. As soon as I started working with the team, my opinions about PT completely changed. My arm/ shoulder started feeling better, I truly understood the problem causing my pain, and I had a path forward. I am 100% back to normal. I am actually even stronger than I was! They are even helping me with my hip problems now too. I cannot praise this team enough. You will not be disappointed. Their scheduling is convenient, their technique top notch, and you’ll always be greeted with a smile!

Experiencia fantástica: My orthopedic surgeon recommended I go to Athletico Physical Therapy after I had a total knee replacement. My first appointment was just two weeks after surgery. There was an initial screening conducted by Melanie the Clinic Manager. From that an individualized treatment program was established and an initial set of home exercises was printed out for me to do every day. I had appointments at Athletico twice a week. The staff was friendly and very knowledgeable about assigning therapy appropriate for my current ability yet guiding me to the next level. During the 11 weeks of Physical Therapy (PT) they lead me through a series of progressively challenging exercises to strengthen my knee and associated muscles. I was also taught how to become cognizant of habits that were limiting my recovery. I enjoyed each session and was totally wiped out when I got home. The environment is one of serious therapy but includes music and playful bantering among everyone in the room. The key to success is showing up for scheduled appointments on time and eager to perform coupled with doing the prescribed home exercises religiously. Your level of success is directly proportional to your level of commitment to becoming physically healthy and strong. I also wanted to add that their billing process works very well. I compared each bill that I received to what my insurance identified as ‘patient responsibility’ and they matched perfectly. Online payment is simple.

I should know, I am a Piriformis client in their care and from the first day of PT, my agility was effectively improved by their specific regiments & instruction. I didn’t receive an instant cure, but committed to 3-days a week for 4-6weeks. I arrived using a walker (Piriformis pains gripped like a Charlie horse), and am ending therapy being able to walk w/o assistance for about 5-mins before my Piriformis pains kick in and I reach for a seat. I am encouraged that this is the beginning of my total & complete recovery. I owe my progress to ATHLETICO. No meds included, just genuine care, respect and guidance. THANK YOU, Athletico.

In 2019, I lucked into finding Melanie who provided me treatment through at a very difficult time (undiagnosed auto immune issues) and her attention to details is excellent. Melanie also has certifications in Vestibular Rehabilitation and Dry Needling. Today, I am still grateful with therapy skills. Her staff are all very kind and professional!

She evaluated me and has worked with me on balance and addressing the cause of the vertigo (ear crystals). The exercises she has me do as well as the manipulation of my neck and shoulder muscles have helped immensely. I am so thankful we found her and for the help she has given me. The staff at Athletico is first rate. They all work together and are all under the constant supervision of the PT's. Athletico (Chandler, AZ location) is an excellent place to go if one is needing Physical Therapy help. I started here at Chandler Athletico after c-spine surgery about a year ago and have made tremendous strides in what I am able to do and feel comfortable doing. It’s honestly amazing and some of the most helpful physical therapy I have had, whether as an athlete or a post-op, out of shape patient who needs long-term PT. Even after a year, I still feel like I learn something new every week & Melanie and Shay are excellent at gauging when I am ready to advance my activity. Scheduling and parking have been consistently easy and for the other OCD neat freaks out there, it is CLEAN!! A clear 10/10 all the way around!

Experiencia fantástica: We've been coming to AthletiCo on Ray and Alma School since October(ish) of 2021 and the team there have been exceptional. The facility is always clean and well organized. Everyone is so nice; the receptionist Elizabeth always greets you with a smile and is always so accommodating, and the therapists we've been working with have all been kind and encouraging. My mom was able to walk on her bad knee just after the very first assessment with Melanie it was incredible. Of course it didn't fix my mom's condition with just that one day, but it helped to actually see that she can get better after having a bad knee for several months, and over time working with Melanie and Shea has really improved her condition to the point where now she can walk without any pain for majority of the day. I highly recommend this office as everyone here are again, very kind and caring, and they are all very knowledgeable as well you can't go wrong working with any of the PT's here. I'm only mentioning Melanie and Shea because we primarily worked with them and they've really been the best, but everyone is friendly here you can get along with anyone. Great office, great location, and even better staff members.

Desparately I went to them two times within the week prior to going to see the orthopedic surgeon. They helped me to reduce the pain greatly. When I saw the surgeon I had great results from the pt. He recommend that I continue with the pt. He sent me for imaging. The results was that I did not need surgery. They were amazing all around from Linda at the front desk to the techs. I highly recommend them. I appreciate the good they gave me.
