Each person has been very tolerant and patient, we laughed a lot. I don’t have anything negative to say about this staff. The food has been good, dietary staff is very helpful. Experiencia fantástica: Hello my name is J, I'm talking some of my time to let anyone interested know that my stay at this facility has been nothing short of great. EVERYONE hear have treated me with respect and dignity. I personally feel the family, no discomfort at all. The nursing staff are excellent and very caring. My case worker felt like my own personal secretary answering all of my questions and concerns. The individual rehab technicians are patient and kind. However the best part of my stay was complemented by the good food , come on a chiefs salad, a croissant with bacon egg and cheese .

Experiencia fantástica: I recently had a stay at the dignity health ev rehab center. I fell and broke two bones and fractured two bones in my pelvis. It was a very painful affair but the staff here was tremendously helpful with their physical and occupational therapy to show me ways to help me overcome my limitations at the time. I was really impressed with the kindness, the skills, the compassion and more the staff exhibited. It definitely made my stay a whole lot more pleasant! If you ever are in need of a rehab facility, I highly recommend this place, you will not regret it!

Experiencia fantástica: Therapy has been good and we tackled what we needed to. They did stuff specifically to help me. They worked so hard and got me up walking! No one thought I would walk again. But they got me up! I've enjoyed the food here and also the grounds of the hospital. It's very nice here.

Experiencia fantástica: I broke my right leg and ankle. After surgery I was asked if I wanted to go to a rehabilitation hospital. At first I said no. I wanted to go right home. Boy am I glad I didn't. I chose Dignity Health on Chandler Blvd. The staff was polite and professional. My room was neat and clean. Therapy was very good for me. I was instructed on how to use a wheelchair and walker. The meals are good. Ask for an ice cream anytime. My medications were given to me on time. All my needs were taken care of. The Doctors care. I had a daily visit with them. Great staff. After 10 days, I'm going home. This was a very good decision for me.

I twice left voice mails inquiring about admission requirements to this facility The person in the voice mail message (Denise) never bothered to contact me. Maybe that is for the best, if they will not return a phone call maybe that’s indicative of the quality of care as well.

Experiencia fantástica: I arrived 3 weeks ago from Athens Greece after being evacuated from a rehab facility in Isarael due to the war. After arriving here I was amazed at how cheerful and competent the CNA's, Nurses, therapists, Doctors and Dining staff were. Essential qualities in the healing process and sense of safety. As my stay continued the level and quality of care remained exceptional. My stroke recovery responded well. It reminds me of a symphony when all the instruments are in harmony, thats the teamwork I experienced here! I will remain grateful to each member of the team for my stay here.

Experiencia fantástica: It’s amazing here! I need to give credit to the therapists. The thing I appreciate is that they are so focused on your goals and how you can improve on moving around safely. It’s been so helpful in that way. They are also willing to push you, I appreciate that because I want to get better as soon as possible. The nurses have all been so great and encouraging. As a patient who has been through trauma, it is comforting to have staff be kind and helpful! My case manager has been so helpful in setting my equipment up for home. I would definitely come back if I needed to!

Experiencia positiva: My mom suffered from a stroke 1/2023 she was sent to rehab where she had a good experience with the doctors, therapist and nurses. Unfortunately the issues we are still currently having is with the case manager Sacora who has failed in executing the orders that would enable my mom to get her wheelchair and other supplies. She has forgotten to put in orders and or has ordered the wrong equipment. She has shown no empathy. If it wasn’t that I keep calling nothing would get done. What happens to the patients that don’t have family to advocate for them. Hopefully we can get this resolved and my mom can get her wheelchair.

Experiencia negativa: My husband was taken their today. When he arrived they put him in a bed that wouldn't work. What type of place doesn't check that their equipment works. Press the call button and no on shows up. Also, they say they have an eating facility at this place, the kitchen is closed 45 minutes early. No food at this place. The AC doesn't work either.

Experiencia fantástica: I've been here twice and the first time I was here for 2 weeks and I really liked the place and the way they treated me. Every therapists treats me like I'm an ace and I'm not. I needed rehab again and I wanted to come back here and I fought to come back here! I'm so happy I got to come back! I love everyone here and will miss them all!

I had no idea what to expect when I was transferred to Dignity Health East Valley Rehabilitation Hospital. So many pleasant surprises! The culinary department provided amazing, tasty, fresh, well-prepared meals for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Such a polite and caring staff. Andrea, Dietician, came in to see how she could provide meals more suited to my pancreas health needs. Even providing a veggie/fruit smoothie every day at lunch. The PT/OT dept was also noteworthy, especially Whitney and Rachelle. The extra bit of compassion & understanding as I struggled with my therapy (that was negatively influenced by other health issues) made such a difference. My nursing staff ❤️...where to begin? Ria with her never-ending supply of energy, positivity, efficiency, compassion, and knowledge. Alicia with her gentle, sweet, helpful, kind self...always willing to go the extra mile. DeLisa, so sweet, kind, funny, helpful, efficient, knowledgeable and, when on the 3rd night of no sleep, due to nerve pain, she came over and held my hand as I was sobbing. No words were spoken, I needed that compassion to make it through the night. Jenneah with her efficiency, knowledge, kindness, empathy, and desire to ensure my well-being is a priority at all times. I was suffering through horrible nerve pain. Unable to sleep for 5 days. Ria and Jenneah worked tirelessly, within their scope of control, over many days to figure out a solution and how to implement a course of care to allow me to get some much needed sleep. Finally, on night six I was able to sleep. Now, I can begin to truly heal after my surgery. What a great facility and truly awesome, dedicated, staff.

Experiencia fantástica: I have spent the last 10 days in the Dignity Health Rehab Hospital after hip replacement surgery. I am going home with great confidence and with a stronger body because of the medical and allied health professionals in this facility. Five stars isn’t enough for everyone here. The doctors, nurses, CNA’s, occupational and physical therapists, dietitians, and all other staff are highly professional and committed to helping you get better. Everyone smiles at you and gives an encouraging word. It’s hard work, but good work. To everyone reading this posting, I commend this rehab hospital and all who work here. They have given me my life back and I send all of them a great big thank you.

Experiencia fantástica: I was very pleased with the overall performance of this facility! After coming from nearly 4 weeks in the ICU I had no idea how I was going to be able to rehab. The therapists and everyone here worked with my abilities and tried to increase my abilities and performance whenever possible. They also allowed me to participate in my care decisions. They were all very positive and serious about my recovery and they were a pleasure to deal with. I was surprised by the amount of progress I was able to make in 1 week! Thank you very much!!

Experiencia fantástica: Due to a horse accident I ended up having a hip replacement and needing to have rehab. Ever since the first night I got here, my care has been excellent! Every morning, afternoon, and night, I've had tremendous care with staff helping me to be mobile and care for myself. If you have to come to a place like this, this would be the best rehab facility to come to. I don't have the words to express the appreciation for the care of all these helping hands. Their logo is "hello humankindness" and that is exactly what they do. Everyone here seems to love what they do!

Experiencia fantástica: My sister Irma was a patient at DHEVRH when she fractured her femur &we were all impressed with the overall experience & results she received. The nursing staff were kind & professional, it was always clean, food was better than most places & she left feeling confident & able to manage on her own at home. The PT & OT staff were very thorough & encouraged her to reach her goals when she felt she couldn’t do it. All we have to say are great things about this place! We highly recommend it to anyone seeking excellent care & service. A 5 star rating for sure!

My mom was admitted to this sad excuse for a Rehabilitaion Hospital a week in a half ago and stayed a total of 7 days before being discharged the next the next day at our request. This place has no right being at the top 8 percent of the country honestly no one here is medically competent. Do not send your loved ones here! Now for the actual review: The physical and speech teams are top notch and worthy of shout out they are fantastic they are 5 star! However, this is where my praise ends.....The medical team is a Joke! They have no Idea what they are doing. I had to explain to every doctor that visited why my mom was here because they had no Idea. Do they not have notes? or a phone that works since our hospital was just call away are they just that lazy? Everyone had good bedside manner but that goes out the window when the family leaves. They terrorized my mom every time she was left alone with them taking away things she needed like her food and medication that their own doctor allowed her to have just a day ago. My mom is diabetic, and they gave her pizza, and offered prunejuce and things she could not eat. She went hungry!!!!! for days! My mom called sobbing and My dad, your truly and my sister stayed with over nights and all day because we could not trust the medical team! to not hurt my mom! One Nurse Valerie got told my mom needs sodium one night not understanding my mom naturally runs low on sodium even after we explained (Again where are their notes?). She made my mom take two giant sodium capsules I know because I was there that night this is first hand! After my mom took one she said I can't hold down another I'll pass....... Valerie: "You can't pass" and made my mom take it. 20 minutes later my mom threw up both of them and could barely sleep and then the nurses woke her up after getting to sleep finally 20 minutes later to draw her blood. Because she was dehydrated due to this hospital restricting her water intake, they couldn't draw the blood and spent 40 minutes and three different nurses pricking my mom trying to draw blood by my count 9 times or more before I sat up from my cot at the sheer ridiculousness I was watching. Valerie comes over to me and says "We are competent we do this everyday" I didn't even say anything (not a word) to prompt her to say this, it was like a confession these people have no idea what they are doing!!!! When I asked about do they take notes Valerie mentioned she received the worst notes she had ever had that day from the nurse before her................throwing the other nurse under the bus.........Wait but this is not a just a nurse problem Every Doctor we encountered as well had no notes either!! like Scott R who was a visiting Doctor and Whatever the name of the main Doctor who visited us twice..........They have no Idea at all what's going on here either!!! Another Note this place cares more about their reputation then the health of your loved one. They sent my dad a letter after my mom got out how they will continue to talk about my mom's case as it was difficult and discuss how communication should have been better, but they did nothing wrong and bla bla. Oh my gosh!! That letter just told me they do not care about my loved one they are just a name on paper another notch on their belt of conquest. This is not a top 8 percent institution as far as the medical team!! Also, I believe if my family was not there around the clock they wouldn't have notified us of any of the issues that happened. There was one nurse who was actually good however I won't name her cause who knows this place may backlash and give her trouble for being good at her job. If you send your loved one here you must not love them that much after reading this. This is my honest opinion as I witnessed a lot of this first hand! not heresy. There is alot more that happened that I wont get into here all negative. What a horrible experience and Terrible place! Negative 1000 percent! We will never be back!

Experiencia fantástica: I unfortunately broke my ankle at the end of August. The hospital case manger brought me a list of rehabs I fortunately picked this one. I spent 2 weeks here and learned so much. I could not have made it with out the staff here. From the nurses to the physical therapists to the occupational therapists. Also nutrition, case mangers and all of the physicians. If you need a rehab facility I highly recommend this one. I can’t thank them enough for all of the help I received here. They put the patient first.

Experiencia negativa: One of the main reasons I had been admitted into an acute rehab facility was so I could seek the outpatient care I wasn't able to receive while at Chandler Regional. Honestly the first few days I was there, I was optimistic but that optimism slowly started to fade by the end of today. Not only did this facility shorten my stay from 10-14 days to just 5, but they never scheduled any of my appointments and when myself and my mother worked hard to get my GI appointment scheduled for tomorrow morning at 9am.. I was told by my nurse Adam this morning that they'd arrange a transport for me to get there. Come to find out, instead of arranging my transportation like they promised, Dr. Uddin decided to outright cancel my appointment and reschedule it for OCTOBER 12th without so much as consulting me about it. I honestly can't believe that knowing I weigh 111 pounds at 6'2 and having lost over 10lbs in the hospital, along with needing to see a GI doctor for weeks now, that a supposed "medical professional" would make such a neglectful decision on my behalf. On top of that, they proceeded to send 4 nurses out of the building to try and block our car so I'd sign an AMA form negating the fact they did anything wrong once I left. From waiting an hour to call the paramedics when I was having chest pain the first time I was in there, Mabel trying to overdose me multiple times by giving me my pain meds early, Uddin and Ampofo offering me medications on my allergy list, nurses ignoring my needs and concerns about stamina by pushing me anyway until my heart rate was above 150 and I felt like I was going to pass out.. to now this?! Naw, Im done. Thankfully I'm competent enough to advocate for myself but if they're willing to do this to me.. my first thought goes to the individuals throughout the facility who can't. **Update** After leaving this review I received a letter from their marketing director of which showed absolutely no acknowledgement or accountability for the way I was treated and my lack of care. Rather, they seemed more focused on the brand and their reputation.. I can't stress this enough, DONT ALLOW YOURSELF OR A LOVED ONE TO BE ADMITTED INTO THIS FACILITY.

Experiencia fantástica: Everything was 5 star care! Nursing was excellent, physical therapy was excellent and the occupational therapy was excellent! The food was better than most hospital stays. I feel more than ready to go home. I would absolutely come back if I needed to!

The above mentioned are great, hardworking and amazing people and we would gladly give them 5 stars. This 1 star review is meant for the administration, case worker, and Doctor. They released my elderly mother WAY too early to home care. We begged and pleaded for them to re-write orders and have her moved to a post acute facility and the Dr and case manager refused our request. Now my mother, with Alzheimer's and a severe fracture at L4 is in the custody of my elderly father. Thank you Dignity.

Experiencia fantástica: I was only planning on a short surgery and it turned into 17 days in the hospital. They saw I was going to have a issue and they sent me to Chandler Regional and the ER doctors jumped up to help me out. After being stabilized I came here to Dignity Rehab, what an excellent stay! Their staff is the most supportive staff I've ever come across. They are really motivating and help to get you up when you're feeling down. The food is good. The nursing staff was helpful with meds and my needs. They are great at communication. There is a big board on your wall that has all the clinicians treating you. If you're ever in need, come here, I'm grateful to come to a place where people actually enjoy taking care of you!

Experiencia fantástica: I recently spent a week at this rehab and it was like being on a vacation, it is a resort, not a hospital! The people who work here are the most wonderful caretakers I've had in my life. They have made me have confidence, strength, and power. I actually don't want to leave. The food could beat any restaurant, I have had wonderful meals, my favorite was crab salad w/ avocado and the crab bites. I love everyone on this staff, the therapists, nurses, dietitian, doctors, psychologist, and my patient advocate. They are all wonderful wonderful caring people. Experiencia fantástica: I suffered a stroke on June 17 and came to dignity health East Valley rehabilitation hospital on June 22. I am now leaving after being here for 11 weeks. I have come such a long way thanks to the great therapy. I received here. The therapists really have your best in mind and work hard to help you get better. When I came, I could not move my left arm or left leg. I am now walking with a cane and using my left arm and left hand. I still have a ways to go, but I’ve come a very long way. I am also grateful for the care I received from the rest of the medical staff. My doctors, nurses, and CNA‘s were all great. I am also grateful for my case manager. The food service and other employees were also all very kind and helpful. I highly recommend receiving rehabilitation care here.

Experiencia fantástica: Overall experience with something like this was good from my standpoint. The staff aren’t only qualified but the way that they administer this program is great. They are in constant communication and it is two way. Communication extends from the executives to floor staff. I can’t say enough but this is the best I’ve seen.

Experiencia fantástica: Loved my week long stay here! The nurses were great and the doctors were knowledgeable. I think the rehab was super beneficial to my recovery. They do allow pet visitation as well, which is really nice. The outdoor grounds are well-maintained.

Terrible hospital , it’s dirty , the people are rude , they try charge for things that you didn’t have done then when you call to let them know the customer service is rude and awful . They are not sensitive to any situation health or financially. I wouldn’t come here if my life depended on it . Worst hospital ever . This place is terrible.

Experiencia fantástica: I learned a lot from therapy. I feel stronger and am ready and able to go home. Dr. Akinbiyi and Dr. Choudhry have been very helpful and kind. I'm so impressed by the therapists, they've really helped me a lot.

Experiencia negativa: Everything was great till my mother fell after not getting any help for a hour. Then they didn't make me aware that they were going to give her room to another patient and throw her belongings in bags and throw other things given to her by therapy away or keep them.

Experiencia positiva: Very clean facility. Staff is friendly. Food is great. There is alarms to prevent falls. But I could have stayed another week. There was no rush to getting me out. I really enjoyed it.

Experiencia negativa: I must say all of the employees in that hospital are very good except for the doctors and what I would say is the board of directors telling the doctors what to do. They will serve you food and clean your room but if you're talking about getting any kind of medical attention it might as well kiss that dream goodbye that place only has 1MRI machine for the whole building.

Experiencia fantástica: After being in a severe motor vehicle accident I was suffering from a shattered femur ,broken humerus ,fracture cervical vertebrae‘s ,fractured tibia ,and a sore wrist. So my family and I took to the internet to research the best rehab facility for me to go to and The first place that popped up was Dignity Health Rehabilitation east valley location and I must say I’ve had the best care they were patient with me and walked me through the process of what to expect during my road to recovery. Any concerns or questions were quickly addressed or explained I really appreciate how management and staff worked together to help think outside the box to help me. Every department has been a tremendous help big shout out to the maintenance, housekeeping, kitchen staff ,dietitian, wound nurse, RNs, medical providers, CNAs , physical therapy and occupational therapy , VIP transportation and my awesome case manager that has helped organize everything to get me all set up on my departure home. I think the best thing that sets this facility apart from others is the staff. No matter which department the staff are willing to help and they take time to listen to the patient. Ultimately I would highly recommend this facility I can go on and on about how every department has done wonders for me in some shape or form but in the end if you or a loved one Is in need of rehab please highly consider choosing Dignity Health E. Valley Rehabilitation Center.

Experiencia negativa: My experience here was bad. I arrived in really rough shape, to be fair, but I often felt like I was not heard. My blood pressure was alarmingly low but they wouldn't do anything about it. It was so low that when they sent me to a surgeon's follow-up appointment by myself, my surgeon wouldn't let me leave his office because of his concern for my blood pressure - I was seeing stars. I was refused pain meds on schedule as prescribed, and told to instead meditate. Despite having a broken tailbone that made it unbearable to sit up, I was left in my wheelchair for long periods, despite repeated requests to return to bed. Finally, I was discharged after only 12 days "because the average stay is 15 days" but I needed so much additional help I had to transfer to another rehab hospital where they kept me for an additional 2 months.

Experiencia fantástica: This is an excellent facility to get you prepared to go home in a short amount of time! The entire staff is more than willing to help you. This hospital epitomizes the meaning "Hello Humankindness." Everyone helped preserve my dignity while they were caring for me. I can't say enough about this place. The therapists are well trained and educated, they are second to none. Everyone was willing to go the extra mile to help me accomplish my goals. They were all my biggest cheerleaders! I would highly recommend this hospital to anyone needing rehab!

Experiencia fantástica: I would like to say the nurses, PTs, OTs, and everyone has done an outstanding job! They have been understanding and patient, very patient, which is important. I also want to say the food has been very excellent and adequate, all the way around. If I needed rehab again I would certainly come back here, it would be at the top of the list no question at all!

From the House Keepers, Kitchen Staff, Nurse Aides, Nurses, Doctors, and last but not least the Physical and Occupational Rehabilitation staff themselves. I was treated with respect and made to feel like I wasn't just another patient. They CARED!

Experiencia fantástica: Was here for a 8 day stay after an ER visit. ALL of the staff from Housekeeping to the Physicians have been extremely supportive and kind. The therapy here is more intensive and all about making the most of your time here. If you or a family member needs a Rehabilitation Hospital, I can not recommend this place HIGHLY enough. I am very happy and satisfied with the care team here.

Experiencia fantástica: I've had several surgeries and have never gone to a rehab hospital this has been a new experience for me and I have really enjoyed it! Everyone has been so pleasant and caring! I actually pushed back on coming here, but the doctors insisted and I'm relieved I did. All of staff pushes you, but they do not overwhelm you, they help you get well.

I’ve never run across a bad attitude here, everyone is so nice. I’m happy to go home, but also sad because everyone here is so kind and they have helped me. I really appreciate my stay here. The hospital is well cleaned. I hope I don’t get sick again, but if I do I will come hack here, it’s the best hospital I’ve ever been to! I thank all of you for what you’ve done!!

Experiencia fantástica: I spent eight days in this facility after spending two weeks in the hospital recovering from West Nile. The staff was amazing across the board...nursing assistants, nurses, doctors, therapists, nutritionist, etc. Without the CARE, concern, support, and gentle nudges I received to work hard on my recovery, I would probably not be on my way home today. Experiencia fantástica: My stay has been very helpful and everyone makes me feel comfortable. Therapy sessions have helped me get back to my normal life. Dr. Akinbiyi was always involved and checked on me consistently. Case manager made sure that my stay and discharge went smoothly.
