He has been a key element in my recovery. I have been an OrthoArizona patient for many years, and trust and esteem all of the practitioners with whom I have treated. I regard my physicians and all of the medical staff there as exceptional, and feel that I am very fortunate to be able to rely on them. Now I rely on Tommy, as well.

Experiencia negativa: Inside the ICE DEN ice skating rink!!! Nobody at OrthoArizona tells you that, and there's no OrthoArizona sign on the outside of the building. Drove around for about 5 minutes in pain while Google maps was as confused as we were. We finally figured someone in the Ice Den would know so we went inside. Lo and behold, there was OrthoArizona in the lobby of the Ice Den with kids playing hockey on the ice right there. Bizarre!

Experiencia negativa: My experience at this facility was very poor. The therapist did not seem to be tuned in to me at all when I was there. He would basically tell me what to do and then leave for the rest of the session, never checking if I was doing things correctly or if I needed to increase reps or Resistance. I felt like I was totally wasting my time there so I left and went to a different physical therapy practice which is fantastic. If I had never gone to physical therapy before my experience at ortho Arizona, I would not know how poor the service was there but because I have done physical therapy at least on four different occasions for four different conditions I know what to expect. This needs a lot of improvement.

Experiencia fantástica: I first went to OrthoArizona for Physical Therapy on my shoulder after a hiking injury. Graham Gould was my therapist. Demonstrated a vast depth of knowledge on what I needed and had a great personal style and approach. He watched me initially for my form for each exercise, and once he was confident that I could perform more independently he still watched me and tracked my activities at the center, but he let me do more of the work on my own. Though he was quick to give me the attention that I needed if I had questions or if I was developing discomfort and needed more instruction. I had a great experience. It took a while, but the PT was a critical part of getting me back on mountains. When I had my left knee replaced 18 months later, there was no question where I would do PT. Back to OrthoArizona and Graham. I am nearly done with PT for my knee and the results confirmed that my choice to return was a good one for me. Can’t say enough positive things about the Vickie and Michelle at the front desk… they get to know you too and are extremely helpful with scheduling. The assistants to the therapists range from undergraduate to PhD students. A nice strong team.

Experiencia positiva: The staff here are all friendly and kind. The place is clean . My biggest concern is that the therapist take on way too many clients at one time. I sit back and watch and they are running around like crazy trying to keep up with what each client is doing. Many times people are sitting and waiting for a while for the therapist to come back to tell them what to do next. I don’t think this is productive at all. I think there needs to be a small number of clients allowed her hours per therapist so that each person can get the needed personal attention each person needs and not be rushed. We pay for therapy and apparently this is a need to get us healed quickly and back to normal. I think this needs to be taken in consideration.

Experiencia negativa: Dont make the same mistake i did. just look up some stretches online and spend the money on 2 massages. I was just diagnosed with arthritis and thought i would learn some new stretches or exercises that could help. Most the time was spend taking "measurements" so they can tell you how much progress you are making. Measurements are with a cheap plastic protractor and eyeball - very precise exercises i was shown were very rudimentary - i will list the 6 i was given: lay on a ball and make a y with your arms, make a t with your arms, make a w - pull a rubber band while laying on a roller, stretch on your side, do some yoga stretch on a roller. - ok thats the active therapy - 120$ ok ill print those out for you - hey thats self care training - 120$ then i got another 120 charge for muscle or nerve training - still dont know what i got ....... when i went in to cancel my future appointments (easier than going through their phone screening people) the therapist waved at me- im scared im going to get another bill for a "follow up or something" thats how ridiculous their coding was. so after all this, with all the codes they claimed my insurance price was higher than the cash price - even though they said it maxed out at the cash price when i went in. So maybe the facility is nice right? Nope its at the ice den, so theres a musky damp smell throughout and the ortho facilities look like something from an old 80's high school gym. one big open room The staff was very friendly and polite but im pretty sure most people would think that the champagne room is a better value for their money than this place

Experiencia fantástica: I have a time of experience of many variant exercises testing using strength, balance, timing, etc, all in my exercises of about an hour before lunch. Any coaching or describing has provided safety and what is seen as what is expected.

Experiencia negativa: Did not care for the atmosphere nor the attitudes of the therapists. You were shown what to do and the amount of reps, then promptly deserted until you completed your workout and went in search of your therapist. They were easy to find because they were right behind their phones or laptops. I left there after several days of therapy and absolutely no progress in my recovery.

I'm struggling with an old break and in extreme pain due to a fall and now nerves. Graham understood what I was going through and was able to push me just enough to make things happen and see results. I'm so grateful and appreciative for the time and effort this place has put in to helping others and myself especially. Orthoarizona is an all around great place. I recently had surgery at OrthoAz for a torn ACL and torn Meniscus to which it has been very difficult for me to do regular activities, the physical therapy department of OrthoAz took me in right away post-surgery, wrote up a plan for me to do in-house as well as at home exercises which I’ve been following religiously, I don’t just feel like a patient there, I feel they have genuine concern and care for my well-being and recovery and only want the best for me. I highly recommend them to anyone seeking exceptional care for their Ortho needs.

They constantly ask questions, monitor progress, and ensure my future mobility and mental health! I wouldn't go anywhere else. I hope I don't need physical therapy again but if I do, I will definitely go back to OrthoArizona.

Experiencia negativa: Their billing is awful. I paid them every visit using a card and they messed many things up. I dont know why there would be any balance when I am paying every visit. They got my address wrong and never cared to call me and instead reported to credit agency. This affected my credit report for a few months. If you want to stay away from shady and sloppy things affecting your perfect credit score, do not go there or be careful.

Experiencia negativa: I went to the Therapy & Athletic Performance location at 7225 W. Harrison, Chandler location this morning to inquire about physical therapy for a knee replacement. There were a few therapists working on patients, and a guy behind the desk. No one even looked at me when I came in - it was like I was invisible. I went to the desk and said Hello to the guy who was behind it. He was working on patient files, and said Hello back. Then he put his head down and went back to his paperwork. I just stood there for a few minutes in front of him, until it became awkward. Then I just walked out. No one said a thing. I’d hate to see how they perform physical therapy. Definitely one of the worst customer experiences I have ever had.

Experiencia fantástica: This is my first choice for Physical Therapy. I have been to other establishments and what I like about OrthoAZ is the therapist Graham Gould. Graham really knows his stuff and he makes sure from beginning to end you are accomplishing your goals. The atmosphere and the openness of the facility is a lot more desirable to me than other places I have been for PT. I will continue to go there for any future physical therapy treatments. Go check them out and you will be very happy you did!

Experiencia fantástica: I've been dealing with busted knees/consistent pain/ numerous surgeries and countless hours spent with therapist for the last 22 yrs. The team they have here is in the top 2 facilities of any places I've rehabbed over that timeframe. Dramatically more knowledgeable than the majority. I'm just working with them to recover from my knee injury but my body overall is all messed up due to other injuries/health issues. If there is ever an exercise I am unable to do, or just uncomfortable doing they've always got several other options we can try to make sure therapy is as comfortable as possible while still being effective as possible. I'm not really a leave a review person unless you fall well below or go well above my expected standard of service. They knock it out the park at this place. If you're dealing with pain or functionality issues, RUN dont walk. Can't run? Okay, walk but get yourself over to see Graham or Aaron ASAP. They might just have you running again before you know it.

Erin was able to narrow down where my problem was, and treated me with a few different therapies. She gave me other options for things I can do in the coming days to increase my recovery more. The end result was great and I am happy to say my orthopedic doctor was very pleased as well. The hours are very good and they are flexible in working with you. Experiencia fantástica: My son and I have both been utilizing Coach Shane Harvey’s training. Besides visual changes in our bodies, I’ve noticed an increase in my son’s confidence as well as his athletic performance. Coach Harvey stresses fitness as well as diet at every workout. Because he has played ice hockey at a high level, Coach Harvey can explain how the drills kids are performing correlate to the movements they encounter on the ice or field. In addition to Coach Shane, the staff is very welcoming and I am always greeted with a cheery “good morning.”

Whether you're there for P.T. or to work with Shane (Performance Specialist) you are guaranteed to receive the training you'll need to heal, improve, and succeed. David is healing nicely from his knee surgery and able to get back out on the football field; and with Shane's help his cardio and stamina will continue getting stronger.

Starting a full contact sport well into my 30s has been challenging and hard on my body with many injuries and set-backs, but Graham’s expertise, patience, and commitment to wellness always gets me back on track. Every visit with Graham, is friendly, professional, convenient, and above all thorough. From massage, stretching, dry needling, cupping, in-clinic exercises, and a comprehensive at-home healing plan, Graham’s goal is to get me back to my regular routine as soon as possible. He knows his stuff and it shows. Thanks, Graham, for helping me reach my fitness goals and for always have my back, wrist, ankle, or whatever I injure next.

Experiencia fantástica: Place is good. They don't hold you back but also don't push you to aggravate anything, and won't let you get too stupid or hard on yourself. Their ROM (range of motion) philosophy is self driven brute force with controlled pain and heavy repetition. They don't do much massage and don't use ultrasound (there is a single countertop machine but never seen it used). They only do scar scraping and forced bending only if not past 90 and there is a lack of progress (YouTube forced-bending torture scenes typically don't happen here). Most clientele are current and former athletes. One patient is training with the Phoenix Rising (ACL). I ruptured my patellar tendon and am currently 8 weeks post surgery. I've taken their core concept of slow and controlled and applied them to exercises and other things I'm not supposed to do yet without aggravating the knee (I like to experiment). Electotherapy and massage therapy is mostly focused on pain control. They do TENS mostly. They do TENS via dry needle too. If you want more hands on scar massage, interferential, ultrasound, or other forms of electrotherapy, you need to mix in another place, or buy your own machine. They are quite affordable to buy outside of insurance online. Massage machines can be bought online. Not as good as expert masssage therapist, but work. This place makes good effective use of low or no equipment exercises which facilitates your ability to do them at home or work. The big money gear is squat racks, drag and push sleds, and lots of dumbells. They also have a few exercise bikes, weighted balls/bags, and step/jump boxes.

Eric immediately came up with a plan after accurately deciding what the problem was. I was very impressed with his diagnostic and treatment knowledge. His demeanor was perfect for the therapy and an overall nice man. I highly recommend the clinic. My wife worked with Erin and was equally pleased.

But the billing is horrible, there is no clear answers whatsoever, always referred me to some phone number, which means I have to deal with billing on my own...to my worker’s comp. nothing settled yet ever since I finished my 12 sessions treatment last Nov. Fuss.....

I had two shoulder surgeries and I was able to gain full mobility back in both my shoulders and was able to get back into doing Olympics Lifting and CrossFit with no pain. He is extremely knowledgeable, very professional and always has a positive outlook even when I became frustrated with my injuries. No matter what your athletic abilities are or your age I highly recommend Graham.

Experiencia fantástica: Our son and daughter have both been to see Graham, Brooks, Erin and Shane for physical therapy and rehab as well as sports performance training. Graham and his entire staff are very knowledgeable and listen to their patients to determine what is needed to fully recover. Our son had three knee surgeries (ACL reconstruction and 2 torn meniscus surgeries) in the past two years from basketball injuries. Graham and Shane have him back playing at full strength such that he will be playing basketball at the next level in college which was his dream. We can't thank you enough for everything you have done for him and how Erin is helping our daughter who is dealing with scoliosis.
