Kessler Institute for Rehabilitation - West Orange

Experiencia fantástica: I had a stroke. Of course, it was life altering and challenging for me a year later it still is. Thanking the Lord in Heaven I'm still here. I truly miss the staff here. They truly and honestly toke very great care of me. The food was great. To the staff that does physical rehabilitation thank you so very much for giving me the confidence to walk again. To the Dr's., nurses, all ... I'm wishing you all huge blessings and keep doing what I believe God has gifted you guys to do. To all the patients, prayers of healing and speedy recovery.

Experiencia fantástica: My aunt is at Kessler rehab hospital in West Orange, this place is world class. She has made such strides after two back to back hospitalizations. The occupationsl therapists, physical therapists, nurses and doctors have worked hard to get her back up and walking. One sees people rehabing after such serious injuries at Kessler, and they are working their hardest in the very big gyms to get them walking again. The rehab gyms are of the caliber of out patient gyms, that are generally much better standard than sub acute facility gyms. My experience is that the staff really cares a lot, and are very upbeat, professional and kind. She switched from another facility after her first hospitalization, and this was like night and day. So much better!! This is only after her first week.. So I'll update after the two weeks.

Experiencia positiva: I was here in AUG 2022 for post care for my THR (Total Hip Replacement). I was satisfied with the doctor and PT staff on hand. I was able to get the help I needed to recover effectively. I appreciated being able to be put in a room near a window and get the therapy that helped me recover well. The location was easy for my family to come visit me, the food was decent, my room was clean. Most recently mother recently had to go in post spine surgery AUG 2023, staff took good care of her as well, some even remembered me from my stay. The room my mom was in, clean and in a newly renovated area. She also recieved good physical therapy to assist her with her new transisiton where she will be using a wheelchair. I would recommend this facility.
