Experiencia negativa: Y’all crazy!! My son was there for brain injury rehab in 2021 and Dr Powell said he would always be in a wheelchair! lol! How bout this ?? Y’all had him sedated and now that he’s been home and had the RIGHT therapy the last 3 years he’s pretty much self sufficient and we don’t even have a handicap ramp at our house! Not only does he care for himself but he also co-parents his daughter with us! I will NEVER recommend anyone to there! Every nurse we had huffed and puffed every time they had to help us do something! When my son choked on his food, instead of teaching him to eat again, they took his food away!!! I had a closet of food there for him that he never got!! Shame on EVERYBODY AT THIS PLACE!!!!!!!!!!!!

Experiencia fantástica: I just left here and I can honestly say it’s what u put in it if u give them zero effort u going to get zero result the food trash but what hospital ain’t and the nurses is very kind so to pick and they will work the hell out u and make u very independent to rely on yourself then rely on other people I will suggest anybody to go to them

Experiencia negativa: BE AWARE - After receiving a bill for $1,159.78 for 3 PT visits we had our bill audited by Roper. The audit concluded that they charge $153 per 15 minute; therefore, an hour PT visit is $612. (Original bill filed with our insurance was $1,925.00.) They are charging $153 for every 15 minutes with a Physical Therapist Assistant.

Experiencia negativa: If there was a zero option for ratings, I would have chosen zero! I just had my rib removed there yesterday and my nurse didn't offer ALL medications available to me! She doesn't believe in IV pain medicine therefore she didn't provide it even though my surgeon ordered it! I suffered horribly and never slept due to the pain! Once I found out about it and complained to the supervisor, the entire floor bullied me! It definitely set me back from recovering and they made me suffer!

Experiencia negativa: They Discharged my mother offering to send her to either sub acute rehab or her own home with therapists to come in. Of course her choice was home. Why did they not STRONGLY ENCOURAGE her to go to sub acute rehab?? They are supposed to be the professionals. She has declined greatly since being at home,. I do not see this rehab as being so-called "World Class". On a less important note, food was absolutely horrible. When discharged, nurse was abrupt and mean acting and noncaring (a Russian nurse name Elissa or Lissa or something). My mother was given the wrong wheelchair which we have complained about from day one, to no avail. At night, my mother had to wait and wait for someone to help her to the bathroom. She ended up having to go in her pants several times (#2).

Experiencia negativa: My husband was verbally abused by their nurse causing him severe emotional distress that negatively affected his mental state and outlook. I then was harassed and victimized in an illegal HIPAA interrogation by their nursing supervisor. GO ANYWHERE BUT HERE. They need to be shut down by the State; they are a danger to the commuity. I am meeting with my attorney next week review all the abuse suffered during my husband's visit.

Experiencia negativa: They have several times not reporting the nurseswhen call button was answerer. They have now over two hours not responded to sendind a nurse. They were going give me insulin without checking suger . Ive never took insulin in my life. They confuse meds. They hung up three times without having the care to respond or ask whats wrong. Glad im not in here with heart trouble?!?!

Experiencia negativa: My Doctor is great. Their billing is less desireable. Overcharged me. My insurance co requested to resubmit and they have not done so! They owe me over $200.

Experiencia negativa: Due to insurance I'm obligated to go to this place . These people are not truly medical professionals that don't respect people who suffer with mental illness . These people are not properly equipped for the community they do even have a social worker in their hospital even though it's a big facility and there's multiple facilities to Charleston . The medical staff are not good active listeners ! they do is just those off give you a random pills and not aware of side effects and all he really cares about their paycheck and not about the patient and their well-being ! I kept had to go back because mant of medication side effects . I'm from out of state and I have put in many requests to get my medical history elsewhere but is been about over year and they have not gotten it done ! These people don't have any no respect no proper morals and how to deal with situations I had to go out of my way to get my medical history and when they told me that they couldn't contact and get though it was just BS because I was able to get them ! Yes people are not medical professionals they're bunch of scammers of the bunch of liars ! They don't advocate people very well for their well-being they're more about the money and more concerned about their paycheck even though that I was trying to file complaints people don't follow through or do they try to make the situation more soothing ! We all know that medical could be a sensitive thing and Can be very pricey but these people do not respect that whatsoever ! Never in my life I've been disrespected just like this ! Southern hospitality is not really exist here ! I got a better help when I went to Virginia went to DC ! I would had to wait for over two months for having a bad allergy reaction because these people don't really care about the situation! It's sad that I had to get a better customer service and better care far away from here from where I live because these people don't have dose of the urgency of any situation whatsoever ! I honestly don't know these people are even a legit hospital I think it's just all an image they more than anything else ! Save your money save your time don't go this this company scam ! You will get mistreated you will be discriminated you will be talking down to you will be disrespected ! If you have a Mental illness if you're not Southern you will be treated differently ! These people are really running a medical business scam ! After having Insurance a writing letters in talking to Lawyers tto resolve some of these issues I am letting people know right now save yourselves from these people ! MUSC is way better ! At least MUSC do try to slove issues then make them worst ! Theses people are not about while being there about trying to kill you ! negative stars that's what they deserve they only deserved to be a company !

Experiencia fantástica: My 93yo great aunt went to Roper St Francis ER in West Ashley and we had a wonderful experience. The nurses were absolutely amazing, one in particular- a male nurse, I think his name was Adam. They treated my aunt with such care and compassion. She ended up staying overnight for observation and while the discharge process was long we were all very pleased with her care. God bless you all!

Experiencia negativa: They send bill even a year after treatment. They keep sending bill months after months, after you talk to them they will say now all bills settled and suddenly after couple of months another chain of bill will start. Their billing department won't talk to insurance company to sort out issue. You need to ensure from insurance company that your are covered 100% along with network registration date of doctor, don't expect this customer service from Roper.
