Moxey Physical Therapy

Experiencia fantástica: Years of skateboard injuries and years of sitting doing creative work took their toll on my mind and body. I've been living in bodily pain for 10+ years along with massive migraines, vertigo and many more ailments. In a single Moxey session it was determined a neck issue where my C1 vertebrae was maligned pinching my nerve, thus cutting off both blood supply to my brain and brain signals to my body. I have seen specialists including CALHANS: California Head & Neck Specialists: Ear, Nose & Throat Doctors and they found nothing. I even had an MRI on my brain thinking it was a neurological disorder. Kim Bell, DPT sponsored my Encinitas RadMap and she suggested I see Steve first. I called Steve and after explaining my symptoms he had a feeling it was my neck. I scheduled an appointment and sure enough he said my C1 was out of place (Atlas Subluxation). He strongly massaged around the back and sides of my neck, up around my jaw and somehow pushed the C1 vertebrae back into position as he said "There we go". He told me that I should be fine. I was skeptical because I didn't think there would be any way it was that quick and easy. He showed me a model of the neck and explained. Then he gave me a few simple exercises and said that I should be fine after just 1 more visit. Sure enough, all week I have not been able to shut up about how blown away I am that he fixed over a decade of pain and years of vertigo & migraines within minutes. Pretty much immediately my vertigo, migraines, bottom of feet pain, neck pain, numbness in hands, nasal congestion and other minor ailments completely disappeared. My anxiety has drastically reduced and my mental clarity increased. I did a deep dive of research and sure enough the C1 & C2 vertebrae are notorious for causing mind and body problems. So next time you think your body is just broken or that you may have some brain damage...get your neck checked out by Steve Moxey. I hope this message helps someone feel better. He is kind, caring, and has an extensive knowledge of the body and physiology. I've been improving steadily over several months for my chronic issues with back and knee pain.
