Experiencia fantástica: No one likes PT, but that said, Excel Rehab & Sports is the place to be if you have to partake. Love the staff, especially my PT Christina Dewind. Second time I've had to rehab my back and after my first experience 2 years ago with Christina there was never any question where I was going to start my road to recovery this time. She is a fabulous person, but more than that, she is incredibly knowledgeable about what it takes to get an injury better. I would highly recommend Excel and Christina is the real deal.

I really appreciate their approach to rehab regarding educating the patient about the cause of the problems and pain they are experiencing. This shows that they care about the patient’s positive motivation regarding rehab. Excellent staff shows compassion within their mission to help as much as possible with each patient’s rehabilitation. This is the 3rd time I have turned to Excel to seek rehab for regaining strength and balance. I always get the desired result.

Experiencia fantástica: Christina Dewind is a miracle worker. I have had different issues over the past few years that required physical therapy. I am so grateful that my doctor referred me to Excel Rehab and Sports to have them treated. Christina has been my therapist each time. She is so knowledgable and explains how I can make activity changes, perform at home exercises, and adjust my posture to heal and strengthen my muscles to avoid future injury. I was hesitant the first time she mentioned needling but trusted her and I am so glad I did. I enter the office in pain and leave already feeling some relief. The entire staff is great too. I highly recommend Excel Rehab.

The therapists work together as needed, so the patient benefits from their collective knowledge. The facility is clean, has all needed equipment, and runs efficiently.

Experiencia fantástica: How and why is my supposed "PT" that I've never met asking me for 5 stars for her and her company? Nina, is absolutely awesome. However, she works in the Northshore office. I had this other guy, and he was nice, but he was kind of just uniform, and after I left, i received a text from my "PT" stating that was so great meeting me? I never met her. So why am i getting at text from her? I ended up in th e ER and the doctor said it was because of the PT. I will not return. Edit: the founder of Excel ended up reaching out to me. He was kind, thoughtful, and thorough. Thank you for caring about one individual.

Experiencia fantástica: I have just graduated today from physical therapy. This was my third time as a patient at Excel and absolutely my only choice in physical therapists. I have been to three other physical therapy centers in Hixson and none of them can hold a candle to Jeremy and his staff. They are professional and very caring. When I tell any of my Dr's who I am going to for PT they always say they are the best! I highly recommend them and as I told Jeremy today, "I will be back!"

They got me to an orthopedic and worked with them to keep me moving. Thanks especially to Chris but also to Bess and Jennifer and the rest of the staff. They all know their business and do it well.

Daily tasks were difficult and painful. Chris, a skilled therapist, worked patiently with me. He never gave up on me, always positive and encouraging. I am pleased with my progress and thankful Chris was my PT. ❤️❤️❤️

Experiencia fantástica: I am an RN and I have had multiple (more than 10) surgeries requiring physical therapy and for a variety of reasons had to use at least 10 different therapists. Always I left the PT sessions hurting and worn out. I thought this was the norm. With my last surgery (achilles reattachment surgery), the PT had me do exercises that ended up rupturing the achilles tendon 4 months post surgery. Recently, a friend highly recommended Jeremy Shook and Excel Rehab and Sport for my upcoming knee replacement physical therapy. My friend said he only trusted them to work on his body. I have had 5 sessions and boy, what a huge difference! I am 2 weeks ahead of schedule in my goals and each session I have left feeling great and like I am making progress. Jeremy’s sessions stretch me, but don’t put me in excruciating pain. If I need to take a break, he encouraged me from day one to communicate, that is was expected. I am amazed and so happy with the results. Even my husband has noticed a big difference in how I come out of the sessions. If I could give 10 stars, I would! So thankful for Jeremy and his team! They are the best! I will be recommending them to all my friends and doctors!

Experiencia fantástica: All of the staff at Excel in Hixson are amazing! Christina Goosey has been my go to for two different issues and she is amazing! Previously she got my knee back in working order and this time she fixed up my shoulder and my neck! The whole staff is kind, courteous, and uplifting! They all encourage you throughout your rehab journey! I can not speak highly enough about the team as a whole! From the warm welcoming reception when you walk in the door to the support staff constantly checking in with you during your routines and even the buildings janitor is amazingly helpful! Clean office, clean restrooms, and plenty of parking when I arrive! I 100% hope I don’t have to go back but I know if I ever need therapy again they are top of my call list!

They wipe down equipment after every patient and the place is clean. Staff are all so friendly and helpful. I have already told my doctor and friends how great it is!

Today, in the middle of therapy, they had me stop, ice the area that hurt, and modified what I needed. That's why I choose them for physical therapy needs.

From the receptionist who pleasantly greets us to the therapists who seem to really delight in their work, I enjoy the visits every time. I especially like oldies but goodies music playing in the background. The therapists take time to teach us how to better take care of ourselves and thoughtfully answer our questions. Jeremy designs a plan for each patient based on a thorough evaluation and uses every tool in his tool box to see that patients have the best results. He doesn’t rush you in and out like the other offices in Chattanooga. His business philosophy is all about the patient and what is best for them. I’ve sent 3 people to him and all 3 are completely satisfied. I highly recommend the Hixson location . You won’t be disappointed.

Experiencia fantástica: If I  need PT again, Excel is where I’ll go! They were recommended to me by my friend who is an orthopedic NP. The treatment I got was very specific to my back and knee issues, and my therapist, Jeremy, listened and understood my needs and goals. Things were explained exceptionally well, and he consistently gave good examples to help me understand the treatment I was getting. I especially liked that I was assigned to one therapist, so I knew he was familiar with everything going on with me. My exercises were kept focused and just the right amount. There is a professional atmosphere at Excel with a good balance of friendliness. When treatment ended, I was given a plan to keep my back and knees in good health. If I do have problems in the future, Jeremy assured me I could contact him and he'll give me specific instructions/direction on what to do. I cannot recommend Excel highly enough, and I will recommend them to anyone who has a PT need.

My first call was to Darcy who heard how upset and scared I was and got me into to see Jeremy ASAP. The day I walked into Excel is the day my life changed. If you need physical therapy this is the place to come- you will not get cookie cutter treatment here. You will get specialized treatment that fits your needs and you will get care and concern. Because of the care I am receiving here, I am now off my crutches, the tears have stopped and my hope has returned. Jeremy is an Angel to me - the staff is the best around. So if you need therapy and are looking for someone who thinks outside the box and customizes a plan to your needs - Excel Rehab and Sports is the place you need to be . Experiencia fantástica: I had neck , shoulder and lower back pains from a car crash last November and had been going to another physical therapy for a couple of months with very little improvement. I was referred To excel by Dr. Paul Hoffman and I gotta say within the first 2 weeks I was a lot better, the staff is very professional and Jermey really knows his stuff. I couldn’t be more happy with this place. I was thinking I was gonna have to have back surgery until I met these people. If I could give more stars I would.

Experiencia fantástica: I was referred to Excel by my primary care doctor for shoulder/neck pain. I originally went to the Northshore location and saw Austin. Half way through my treatment I found out he was transferring to this location. I live downtown and I followed him here. If that doesn’t tell you how great he is, I don’t know what will. He was fantastic. I came in with unbearable pain and today I finished up my last appointment. The pain is almost gone! It was a painful journey with some ups and downs but he stuck with me and got me through it. I would recommend Excel to anyone and everyone I can!
