Arkansas Extended Care Hospital - Fort Smith

Experiencia fantástica: Our family member is currently being cared for by all these lovely people. I was skeptical at first after reading some poor reviews, but I shouldn't have been. They are all incredibly informative on patients care in all aspects. I expect waits on buzzing for a caregiver, but this has very seldom happened, I understand some patients may need more urgent care at that moment. All in all I would definitely suggest Arkansas Extended Care to anyone who asks, the staff are so nice, efficient, understanding and care about their patients and their families.

Experiencia fantástica: My mom was admitted to Arkansas Extended Care Hospital on the 4th floor of the Mercy Hospital almost a week ago. Every single member of the staff has been amazing! From her hospitalist, Dr. Anand, to her nurses and caretakers (Debbie, Cheryl, Noy, Ester, Martha, Paul to name just a few) - every single member has been kind, patient and attentive to her needs and condition. If an alarm in her room goes off or the nurse button is pressed they are in the room or calling within minutes, sometimes within 30 seconds. The patient rooms are quite large and comfortable for family and friends to visit. They are recently remodeled and clean. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would. Mercy Hospital could learn a lot from the way this facility is managed and operated. Thank you to all of the staff for taking such great care of my mom!

Experiencia positiva: I think there are some nurse here that cares and there is this one nurse that she is very unprofessional, she gets to involved with the family problems, and when one of the brother name gets brought up in a comment the nurse makes faces at his name.. and when we are talking to her about our mom, she acts like I'm not in the room at all!! She is very rude, If I have to bring my mom or another love one back here I would ask for her not to be in our room at all !! But other than her there are some really nice people here..
