Experiencia fantástica: My wife was at NHC Franklin for 3 weeks before she passed away. Don't let the older building fool you, the staff here is great and highly recommend for long term skilled nursing. It was a 180 degree different experence from the poor care she received at the Somerby Franklin memory care unit, which is a beautiful building but poorly run.

Experiencia positiva: I brought my mother to NHC Franklin after leaving the transition rehab center in Columbia. I transported her myself the Thursday after Labor Day. Before leaving NHC Columbia we ordered a brand new wheelchair for her. It has disappeared from her room, taken while she was @ the hospital. A torn, beat up one was in her room when I came in today. The Friday after I brought her I came in to see her. She was asleep so I left her small teapot as she likes to have hot tea, when it comes from the kitchen it is always cold. The nurse removed it. Instead of putting it in her closet it has also disappeared. There is an issue with personal property @ this facility. My mother is not very aware so I am feeling uncomfortable leaving her there. Feeling like she is not watched over and things keep disappearing. It doesn't feel like a safe place to me.

Experiencia positiva: My mother recently became a part of the NHC family. The receptionist’s smile gives a snapshot of services received from the administration team and staff: compassionate care, a clean atmosphere, joyous relationship building, involved activities, thoughtful & tasty meals. My review is not only from what I have witnessed, but also from talking to other long-term care clients. Most transitions bring uncertainties! The administrative team/staff have shown dedication in providing and following up on my concerns. It is starting to feel like home not only to my mom, but to me, as well!

Experiencia fantástica: My mother was placed at NHC in franklin at the end of October 2020 and then passed January 12, 2021 due to covid but I know they spoiled her and she loved them all like family and I could t have asked for a better group of people for her to be around at her end of life. Not one time did my daily visits with her was she complaining about anyone or anything there. She truly was in the best place and for that I will always be so grateful. I do miss the staff and seeing them daily but I want them to know how much she loved and cherished each one of them, as did my family and I. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for giving her such love and wonderful care to the end. She didn’t suffer at all. I would send anyone who needed the care they provide to go there and let them help. ❤️❤️❤️
