Rolling Hills Hospital

Experiencia fantástica: I had a great experience with the outpatient programs offered by Rolling Hills Hospital. I had a very acute occurrence of PTSD related to my job as a Firefighter/AEMT. I went to the admission area of the hospital at about 1 AM one morning, because I was in a very bad spot mental health wise. They were very friendly and understanding. They did an assessment and recommended the PHP (outpatient Partial Hospitalization Program.) This is a group therapy program that you attend from 9 AM until 3 PM, Monday thru Friday. I had 12 days of this approved by my insurance. But other people had more or less days, just depending on their insurance and their ability to pay. This program was very beneficial to me. Once I completed this program, I then transitioned into the Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP). This is a program that you attend from 9 AM until noon, Monday thru Friday. Both of these group therapy sessions that I attended are separate from the Inpatient mental hospital portion of this facility. Both the PHP and IOP are group therapy sessions where you are around other people who are struggling in their lives with different mental health issues. These people range in ages from 18 all the way up into people in their 60s and 70s. This is a facility that welcomes people of all age ranges and who are struggling with a variety of different mental health issues. No one person is alike to any other person. Everyone is struggling with their own mental health issues. But this facility does a great job of teaching basic, and also specific techniques for dealing with these issues. I was in a very bad spot before I attended Rolling Hills Hospital. I assumed it was just a place where people who are feeling crazy go, like in the movies. But, what I realized is that this is a place for every day citizens who are struggling with mental health issues. If you are struggling with mental health issues and are looking on Google right now for a place to go, then you need to go to Rolling Hills Hospital. You can get an assessment by friendly and helpful and understanding people. You are not alone and help is just around the corner.

Experiencia positiva: Not the best but not bad either. I’ve been here twice in the adolescent units and it wasn’t bad. Some of the staff are really nice and friendly but some are kind of rude. The beds are a little uncomfortable but I’ve gotten used to them. Groups are fun, especially art and music group. Almost everyone here is friendly and it’s easy to make friends. Out patient was way more better than inpatient, Just my opinion.

Experiencia fantástica: It has taken me awhile to leave this review but I was recently thinking about my time there and how much I learned and how they got me through a very hard time. Clark one of the therapist who worked with me in group therapy was amazing! He held me accountable and I needed it. I will definitely go back if I need help in the future. And Dr. Maturity is wonderful too! He is so smart and he really cares. I feel like all of the staff there at outpatient really do care. Please take the reviews with 1 or 2 stars with a grain of salt. Everyone is different and you can't make everyone happy. Thank you, Rolling Hills, for helping me through a very tough time. For almost 2 months you were my "breakfast club" and I'll never forget our group!

Experiencia fantástica: I recently had to stay at Rolling Hills hospital for a mental break. My stay was great. All of the staff treated me with respect and they were all very nice. They checked on me often and were very nice to me and everyone that was in the same ward that I was in. They helped me and if I needed something they were very quick to get what I needed. The nurses are great as well as the nurse techs. I do recommend going there if anyone needs mental health.
