The Ivy at Gastonia

Experiencia positiva: First time I’ve been there. It was last Monday 1/8, I took my grandson. He had a blast. My problem was how messy the place was. It was obvious there was no clean up, or sweeping from the weekend.

Experiencia fantástica: I absolutely love this facility. The staff are authentic, warm, caring, and passionate. I’m in aww with their connection to the patients and identifying their needs. I’m happy to walk through the doors of this facility and even more grateful of the care I’m able to witness in reference to the patients.

Experiencia positiva: The Ivy is not the prettiest facility but it’s clean and more importantly the staff is AMAZING! My mother was here for a few days during the end stage of Alzheimer’s, I couldn’t ask for a more compassionate, caring staff to my mom and myself. The nurses made sure my mom was comfortable, they checked on her frequently and the CNA’s treated her with respect and was so very attentive to her. I can’t express my gratitude toward EVERYONE HERE. They made a difficult time much easier!

Experiencia fantástica: Our father is here currently and I have nothing but great things to say about this place! The staff has been super friendly, no matter what shift any of us have come on. He loves everyone he has, between the therapist, doctor, nurse, or CNA, everyone has just been the best considering how short notice this all was. I love the security they have in place to protect their residents. They have a bunch of different activities for them to do, and we are allowed (given the circumstances) to bring him snacks and drinks so it’s not just limited and can make his stay a little easier. Thank y’all so much for taking care of him! Y’all have been so helpful with all of this!

Experiencia fantástica: My mother was at The Ivy at Gastonia for Rehab and the Facility was absolutely wonderful! We were nervous due to some reviews, but we decided to go with them because of location. We are so glad we did. The nursing staff was great and it was so nice seeing a facility not having any agency in the building. We were able to make relationships with them all and they provided wonderful care to our mother!!
