Experiencia fantástica: Was scared of how I was feeling when I arrived. But staff made it so comfortable and assured me everything would be alright. ER ICU staff was amazing. Staff very helpful and knowledgeable. Explained everything that was being done and let me know what to expect. Thank you to RT dept. ICU staff and least 4th floor medical staff. Meal staff also on top of diet changes .

Experiencia fantástica: I enjoy working at Harlingen Medical Center every weekend! Working with people who make you feel appreciated and acknowledged is the main reason I love my job! It’s a workplace that values and actively seeks our input, makes me feel respected as an employee. We all have unique talents and things we are good at. I feel my work is meaningful and what I do makes a difference for others, this gives me motivation to keep doing it even though there may be times when the going gets tough. When Harlingen Medical Center is doing well, it rubs off on all of us who work here and it feels great to be a part of this team!!! Doris Stockton

Experiencia fantástica: I want to applaud all the RN, LVN, CNA and all staff in reference to the awesome and professional care they gave me. They made it a pleasant and comfortable place after my surgery as well. The surgical and Anastasia staff were also fantastic. Thank everyone of you. Experiencia positiva: My experience at this facility would’ve been five star, had it not been for the nurse the second evening I was there at the center, when I asked for assistance she asked me “what I needed her to do because she didn’t know what to do” I hurt myself a little bit when I was trying to use the facilities because she didn’t give me a walker although I had just had a total knee replacement her nurse assistant did the same thing the second time I got up, finally the third time I told him I had to use the walker. The other thing is housekeeping could do a little bit better when they go in and clean the rooms, the employee just kind of like wipes around items and didn’t clean off my hospital bed tray it was just like a sloppy cleaning. Other than those two things the staff there was excellent with me even the therapist, would I recommend someone to go and get any kind of surgery there, definitely I would!!!
