Experiencia fantástica: My nana was placed here over the holiday season. We tried to keep her home as long as possible, but after a series of events it was no longer sustainable. I was reluctant to place her, however, after such a wonderful experience with the transitional rehab unit, we decided it was our best bet to keep her safe. The nurses and staff at the transitional rehab unit are second to none! What an amazing group of people. So kind and helpful, I can never thank them enough. The activities coordinator was also so kind to my nana. Even though my nana is not much of a social person. She was transitioned into the long term care at green leaf and all of the staff there has been so patient and kind to us. I must say her case manager Nancy Adams is an angel, and has worked with us through any issues or questions we have had. She is absolutely the most caring helpful person I have come across. I don’t think this transition would have gone as well as it did if not for her. You can tell she really cares about the people who call Hannah Dustin their home and truly wants them to be happy. Thank you to the whole staff for making my nana feel at home. I appreciate all of your support.

Experiencia fantástica: Hanna Duston Healthcare is a wonderful place for a loved one. It was my dream to keep Mom at home forever, I had everything needed to do so, until a bad fall leaving her here. Not only is the staff so caring and informative, they really love the residents being cared for. A special recognition for Mary Jane Chambers Praiano, Activities Director, an angel on this earth that makes every day special and fun and ensures people aren't just existing, they are here to have fun and smile and makes every one of them feel special. She is an asset and the reason some of them keep going, long past when they were expected to. Again, all the staff are amazing but Mary Jane makes every day as fun and blessed as possible. If it cant be me to take care of her, I trust them all with her life.

Experiencia fantástica: I cannot say enough about the wonderful care and support Hannah Duston provides! Our Dad was in and out of hospitals and rehabs for years and Hannah Duston was the first facility to diagnose him with dementia, which led to us getting him the support he needed. So when our Mom fell and broke her hip and was being transferred to skilled nursing, we immediately requested Hannah Duston. Our Mom is 80 years old with dozens of "co-morbidities," so when she broke her hip we immediately started preparing for her to move to a nursing home. But with a 360 approach to her well-being including physical therapy, occupational therapy and nursing (along with her own stubborn determination!), she is going home, stronger than she has been in years and much better educated about her own self care. Michaela, Maryanne, Angela and the entire team of professionals listened to the family's concerns and not only treated the injury but addressed the underlying issues that led to the fall in the first place. Of course Mom will need a lot of help and support at home, but for the first time in years, we are breathing a little easier, knowing she is armed with the tools she need to stay safely at home for as long as she is willing to put in the work. Thank you to the entire team at Hannah Duston!
