Experiencia positiva: A couple of years ago, I spent a week in another Hemet Convalescent Hospital and it was not a good experience. In comparison, the Devonshire Care Center was a very pleasant experience. After a hip replacement, they kept my pain tolerable, They listened to my concerns and took action when necessary. Most of the nursing staff was friendly, caring, helpful, and took good care of me and those patients in the room with me. Two nurses in particular went out of their way to make sure I was having a good day and that my needs (both physical and emotional) were met. I'd like to thank M. Cuevas and K. Garcia for making me feel safe and cared for, although there were many other nurses and CNAs that were excellent too. The food was not bad, much better than at the Hemet Valley Hospital. The therapy staff was also excellent and while they gave me exercises and encouraged me to progress, they did not push me to the point of pain or exhaustion. Devonshire's staff made my stay comfortable and I recovered quickly so that I could go home after 5 days.
