Experiencia negativa: I am giving 2 stars rather than just 1 because we LOVED the therapist my son was seeing. She was so supportive of him and always answered my questions/concerns. But this business is AWFUL. The receptionist situation has been RIDICULOUS. We were not being charged copays, despite my telling the office we needed to pay on several occasions, by the time that receptionist left we had racked up a $600+ bill. We had come up with a payment plan with the new receptionist, it WAS NOT followed, we were STILL NOT being charged the copays and our bill finally went up to $900!! Rather than come up with a plan to pay them BECAUSE OF AN ERROR ON THEIR EMPLOYEES the owner used the billing department to force a charge on my card for the total amount WITHOUT ANY NOTICE, NO CONFIRMATION OF THE PAYMENT, OR AN INVOICE OF WHERE THE PAYMENT WENT. Things were working like they should for a little while, but the office stopped charging copays again. My son's last appointment was two weeks ago and I was just charged $200+ with no notice or explanation AGAIN. Be weary of this business, they don't seem to care about taking care of their customers because another one will come in to replace them in no time.

Experiencia negativa: If I could give zero stars I would. I decided today that I needed to pull my son. I usually do not go back in the room because I was initially told that parents can be a distraction for the children which I understood. I quickly learned today why they urge parents to stay in the lobby. I went to the restroom which is located in the back where you have to pass the observation rooms on the way to and back. On the way back I could hear my son’s therapist as well as another in the room just socializing. They were talking about things in their personal lives and they were talking about another child that wasn’t even there. My son’s appointment was at 3, they did not take him back until 3:05 and they were done by 3:20. I asked the therapist “I thought the appointments were supposed to be a 30 minute time block” she proceeded to say “oh they are 24 minutes and the rest of the 30 minute time block is for me to finish up paperwork” umm no. Even so it was only 20 minutes that he was in there. For a child that is delayed 20 minutes is nothing. It is frustrating to know that we have been paying so much money out of pocket for that. Every week they tell me the same thing, that they played with the ABC board. We are paying so much money out of pocket for the same thing we could achieve at home. Our son’s daycare has helped him more than this place has. On a side note, their new receptionist situation is an absolute disgrace. Please do not take your child here.

Experiencia negativa: My daughter received a physical therapy referral to this place. I called on a Friday. Google said they are open until 3 pm. I called all day since they opened. No one answered the phone. I called my insurance company and got her referral switched to someplace else and I am very pleased with their service! I did read the reviews on this place. I am the type of person to give a business a try. Someone called me today at almost 2 in the afternoon. Just now returning my call. I told the receptionist sorry, but I found another physical therapy place. If your child is referred here, read the reviews and don’t expect them to answer your phone call during business hours.

Experiencia positiva: My son had a speech evaluation done and she determined that he did not qualify for speech. I was super shocked by that when he's been in speech for several years and is currently still in speech at school under his IEP. After the OT therapist left (since he was getting services for ot) and you guys were waiting on a new one I decided to pull him from your clinic and get him reevaluated at a new clinic, the new clinic suggested 2-3 appointments per week for his speech which was to be expected since he was activly getting speech therapy in washington before we moved here. . So I don't understand how your speech therapist didn't qualify him when it's very clear that he should have qualified. I decided to let him just go to OT therapy with you guys since he was atleast getting speech in school but his progress in school for speech hasn't been the best so that's when I decided he definitely needed to go to a different clinic where he'd get the speech services he needs. Even his school speech therapists was suprised when I told them that she didn't qualify him.

Experiencia fantástica: We love capable Beginnings! They have truly helped my daughter! The staff is Phenomenal and has always been amazing! I would recommend capable beginnings to anybody.

Experiencia negativa: My son was referred by Tricare for speech therapy and I strongly recommend parents to AVOID this place. First of all the environment is definitely not so attractive to kids. The place is small and dark. When I first drove up to the place I thought I came to the wrong place because they dont look anything like educational center. Second, the teacher we were assigned didnt seem to be interested to teach my child at all. She was constantly on her PHONE and sitting on her desk more then playing with my son. During the 30min section, I had times when she had 2 phone calls and also text message alert(yes, she didnt turn off the sound). She didnt answer the phone but she did read the text message in front of me and explained to me what the text message was about (it was nothing urgent -_-). All the time I had the feeling that my son was just playing with the toy alone all the time. My husband even questioned if this was right because my son did not learn anything at all! After the covid-19 the switched the sessions to virtual which got even worse because 1. My son had hard time paying attention to the screen 2. The teacher just opened up a learning website and played around throughout the whole session (I mean I can do this too) 3. They switched teachers around which led to confusion to my son. I wanted to get a second thought and tried out different place and immediately I can tell that this place is not professional at all! I felt like my son just wasted time here. As soon as he switched off, it was amazing how he started to verbalized right away. If anyone who reads this gets a referral to Capable Beginning, be aware and immediately switch!!! (Clarksville has great speech therapy facilities) If you are on Tricare, you can call to change, it's very easy and simple. Just dont waste time here.

Experiencia fantástica: We love Capable Begginings my son has been making so much progress! He loves his therapists ❤️ He will ask me to go see them everyday which I find amazing! Everyone there is professional respectful and passionate of their job! They will treat you like family! We love them!

Experiencia negativa: My kids had their first appt today and I am not impressed. The office alone need attention it’s run down and not taken care of...the therapist they say seems nice but it’s like she is new. Not impressed...will update after a couple appt. Hopefully they love their new place.

Experiencia negativa: A friend of mine had her son referred here and she told me about her experience and how it wasn’t great and she pulled her son out. I like to give everyone a chance so we decided to go through with the evaluation and give it a fair shot. I have never been so disappointed in my life. My son’s appointment was at 10 am, my husband and I got to the facility 10 min early to fill out any paperwork that was needed. The door was locked, nobody was inside, I had to call the number on the door and ask why nobody was at the facility. The girl on the phone told me the owner would be there shortly to let us in. Okay, whatever people run late no big deal. Well, we get inside and the office itself needs some work. It didn’t feel like a welcoming environment whatsoever. Nothing was ready, the computer at the front desk wasn’t even turned on, she didn’t have any of his paperwork ready and worst of all was that his speech evaluator was almost 30 min late.... we didn’t actually start his evaluation until around 10:30. Once we got back into the room you could tell they had just cleaned it, so I had to take my 2 year old into a tiny 8x8 room that had the strongest bleach smell.. I don’t understand why nothing was already cleaned and prepped for our appointment. Fast forward to Thursday, which was his first appointment, we are having to do telecommunications with the virus going on which is fine, Ms. Annie was super nice and we really liked her so we were going to give them a chance. Literally the next morning I get a TEXT message, not even a phone call telling me that my son would no longer be seeing Ms. Annie since she was relocating to the Kansas area. I don’t understand why you would allow someone to see a patient if they aren’t going to be working for you anymore by the next day, so unprofessional. I get a phone call Sunday afternoon telling me that he won’t be seeing Ms. Joy on Tuesday like we were told in the text message I had gotten on Friday. He would now be seeing someone else on Tuesday and then back to Ms. Joy on Thursday.... my child is 2 and needs stability, no child can learn when they are constantly having to meet new people.... I’ve never been so upset and disappointed in a business. I honestly don’t think Tricare should be referring anyone there. I really tried to give them a honest chance and I was sorely disappointed.

Experiencia negativa: Capable beginnings decided that their services were no longer suited for my child, that he wasn’t a good candidate. My child has a language delay so I’m not understanding why he isn’t a good candidate according to the services they offer. The owner stated that since his appointment is at the end of the day, he’s too tired to learn and not interested. My child is 2, attention span of a gnat. We did end up taking him out of there since we felt they were disinterested in helping. We requested his records. The owner gave us the initial assessment but what we were expecting were evaluations, notes. My husband was told that it would take up to 30 days to get those notes because it’s held in an off site facility, and have to pay 2.00 a copy. I find that odd but just a heads up if you ever need your child’s records from their facility.

Experiencia negativa: Joy is nice, very sweet and very helpful. Today i brought my son in for his appointment, i sat in the lobby for 10 mins waiting for his session to be over, the front desk clerk then told me “ma’am I’m sorry we can’t have anyone waiting in the lobby, it’s the CDC L, I’m sorry” but when i first arrived (i arrived approx. 15 mins early) i waited in my car until 5 mins before my sons appt, there was a parent waiting in the lobby the entire time and she was not asked to leave.. it’s very odd to me and honestly i felt it was very disrespectful.

Experiencia fantástica: Phenomenal staff!!! I have been a special needs mom for 8 years. My family has lived in numerous states because of my husband’s job. Two out of my three children have attended Capable Beginnings. By far one of the best places we have attended for speech therapy. Every staff member we have encountered has been extremely professional and helpful. When we were having issues with our insurance referral they were amazingly patient and helpful. 10/10 would recommend!!!

Experiencia negativa: I would like it to be known that I was told that my son needed to be seen by a specialty pediatrician because he wasnt making any progress in their eyes. I took my son out because I disagreed. He is know in a pre school program where he is THRIVING! I would not recommend this place.

If you’re searching for a team that will go above and beyond for your family...you found it. Blessed to be apart of the family at Capable Beginnings.

Experiencia fantástica: More than words is a great place but CAPABLE BEGININGS FEELS LIKE HOME. My daughter was assigned to this clinic and my son was assigned to more than words. When we met everyone and Erin (my daughters therapist) we instantly fell in love because of how genuine they are here. So we had to switch my son over here and he now sees Erin and Jordan (amazing). The owner is always more than accommodating and even has a clean play area for the kids while parents wait. I honestly am so grateful for finding this location!! We will miss you when we go
