Experiencia positiva: I've always had a great experience, yesterday was not the case. After seeing the doctor I went up front to check out and there was only 1 person working the front end (check ins and out). 3 of us were in line to check out and the lady made us wait to check in the people coming in first. It took me 25 mins to check out and I was in a lot of pain. She was short and curt with us saying she was the only one that could do the job that she was doing. I was shocked that this company had that many patients coming in and going out had 1 person working the front end, and didn't cross train any other team members in case this happened.

From start to finish of my surgery was nothing but exceptional Dr. Kowalski and everyone else that worked at TOA was absolutely great to me.

Experiencia fantástica: I was very pleased with my experience with Dr Nelson at TOA in Clarksville. Dr Nelson took time to explain in detail her preliminary findings regarding: my problem. She reviewed the x-rays with me and suggested steps I can take to seek some relief from pain while I undergo further testing. I felt like I was listened to and respected.

Experiencia negativa: In my experience, it seems quite evident that TOA is simply interested in doing surgeries and could really care less about the honest well-being of their patients. They will happily let you suffer; they are also notorious in non-existent patient communication; good luck getting a hold of someone! Lastly, be sure to notice TOA's patients' "mobility" in the parking lot. The bulk of them walk like Frankenstein. Spooky!

He is the best surgeon I’ve ever had for my health care. I now can walk accurately and use other fitness equipment to produce many miles of productive physical activity since I completed my physical therapy after having my hip surgery 12 months ago. I continue to have a very active life due to the amazing hip replacement from Dr.Carpenter. I highly recommend him!

Scott explained what he was going to to and warned me when I might feel some discomfort as he injected the hip joint. Everything went great and I was glad to have gone to TOA for my consultation and treatment.

I was seen by Jimmy Mauney he was very thorough explaining what my problem was with my neck pain and when I told him a about a problem with my knee from a fall. He looked it over and told what to do for bit also. I was in and out in less than an hour and happy with the appointment.

Fixed my Achilles that was cut through, 2 tendons that had been severed in my hand from a transmission, a ruptured bicep and many small things in between. Always top notch to keep this ol hard working body going! A body in motion stays in motion.

Experiencia positiva: Had Dr. Schneider as my surgeon for a work place injury, and he was great, along with his medical assistant Jameka. Only giving 3 stars because I can't reach their workers compensation person to schedule a follow up to a surgery I had last week(8/2) . Leave messages, and they go unanswered. Really quite frustrating. The fact one wasn't scheduled the day of my surgery is kind of odd. They really need a back up person to take worker comp phone calls. I'm stuck in limbo currently on 8/5.

I have already referred him to others. His nurse Stephanie is quick to respond to all inquiries and has been very pleasant to work with. I have been pleased with Dr. Teske, his staff, and Rusty for gel injections so in all because of the above mention medical staff my visits to TOA have been excellent. Experiencia fantástica: I followed Dr. Casey's advice after my first shot in my hand. I went from not being able to climb a rope due to pain in my finger and hand. In three months I have been able to go back to my regular workouts and not waking up with pain in my finger and hand. Unfortunately a year later the pain and problems returned. Dr. Casey did tell me that this was a possibility so now I am opting for surgery.

Both went very well, He has always been nothing but professional and caring. His nurse Rhonda is also top notch. I hope I don’t need a surgery anytime soon but if i do, or have an injury I will be seeing Dr. Kowalski.

Experiencia fantástica: I had a very short wait time so I got to meet with Dr Carpenter within 10 minutes of my arrival. He reviewed my X-rays with me, outlined my surgery plan, answered my questions and turned me over to his scheduler. Very concise and efficient.

Experiencia negativa: This place treats Veterans as second class citizens After reading all these reviews it seems the doctors here are pretty good. However, my experience has been nothing but good, actually it has been one of the worst discrimination against a military veteran I’ve ever seen. Explaining, I chose this place after VA Medical Center gave me a choice to go somewhere for surgery. I to read the reviews and made my decision to go here. It wasn’t until my conversation over phone with a woman working in scheduling appointments for veteran is when I realized this place looks at veterans as second class citizens and veterans gets treated worse than people treat animals. It’s real clear since the government is paying the bill it falls under a different bracket of billing and they can’t charge VA like they charge people with paid healthcare insurance. Therefore, begin veteran your past aside until they are ready to help you with continuing to ask for medical records. At what point do you have enough and who’s to blame for not requesting all the records you claim to need, the veterans hospital sent all records requested but when it came time to schedule an appointment once again, two attempts had already been made to schedule appointment, you get advised we need more records this is where the red flags come up. Approx a month of trying to schedule a shoulder surgery and still no success. At this point, I notified Va of what was taking place and move to a move Veteran friendly facility. Lastly I called TOA back and left message for supervisor to return my call and all records back to VA and explains what happened. To date still haven’t received a call back from supervisor. That in itself clearly shows they really do not want to help veterans and could care less if you have a complaint. Veteran stay away from this place unless your using personal health because if the VA is paying bill you will be treated as a second class citizen.

I gave you a five star because I keep coming back for the same thing for you to keep telling me there's nothing wrong when there's something wrong because I'm in pain all the time. I feel stealthy it's fluid on my knees. They hurt my help. Her on and off my knees hurt. The shots don't work. I just keep coming back and nothing's not getting done like should not be on some arthritis medicine to help with the pain. Thank you
