Experiencia negativa: I would NEVER recommend this place. In 2019, Dr. William McIntosh almost killed me and my daughter in the hospital. Dr.Lisa McIntosh didn’t care that I wasn’t dilated and induced me instead. NEVER GO HERE.

Is ridiculous, no patient is more important than the next and people Rely on those they bring with them especially if it might be challenging news, turned around today at the door because of “distractions” what distraction is a spouse there to support their wife, in making sure she’s mentally ok, after explaining that I was there for support because of certain issues I will still told no,

Experiencia negativa: They should really update their website to advise that they will be closing soon and no longer accepting new patients. Literally went through the whole process just to call and be told they aren’t accepting new patients due to them closing in a month.

Experiencia negativa: After doing all research to treat my pregnancy I chose this place, but after calling I was told that they don’t treat pregnancy mind that website, Facebook page even my insurance said otherwise. I strongly suggest that if so to update all the wrongful information, they not obstetricians.

Experiencia positiva: Been a patient here since 2012. Dr. Mac is amazing the office is amazing for pregnancy definitely sad to leave this place but policy policy policy thanks for the years I had before I became disabled and had to get put on Medicare which they don't have the credentials for.

Experiencia negativa: I went in today for endometriosis after recently moving here. I have had one surgery before moving almost two years ago. I have tried most medical treatments for it without success. I went to Lisa in hopes for something to help. For her to only tell me that she wouldn’t do another surgery and that she wanted me to try another medication. She also told me that she didn’t believe my other treatments didn’t work. And that what my other doctor, who performed my first surgery, had told me as to why I had endometriosis in the first place. I was put down and called a liar during the entire appointment. Definitely do not recommend this office. Will be finding another doctor

Experiencia negativa: I loved the care I received from Amber Wood. However, after a nurse ordered the wrong labs for me I was left with a nearly $600 bill. So not only was I left waiting longer for the correct test to come back, I was also left with tests that I did not ask for or authorize, and their subsequent fees. The office manager acknowledged that the nurse made a mistake and in the same breath told me that they were unable to remove those tests from my fees. The office manager then says that the nurse who made the mistake no longer works for them so they cannot confirm whether I had asked for those tests (even though both my primary and the office manager already admitted fault). There was no offer to credit my account, simply "call the billing company and ask for a discount". I'm disheartened to leave a wonderful provider, but I can no longer afford to keep my care with an office that does not value integrity or their patients time and money.

This was my first experience at this OBGYN and I appreciated how great she (and all of the other staff members) were!

Experiencia fantástica: I had my new patient appt with Dr. Lisa. Her nurse, Areli was so sweet and made me feel comfortable before my first well women’s exam. Dr. Lisa addressed all my concerns and made me feel very taken care of. Even though they’ve been doing this for awhile, you can tell the spark of wanting to help and take care of people is still very much there!! I’d recommend this clinic to any women in need of a new gynecologist office.

Experiencia negativa: A very bad experience here, as always, this is my second time, came with my kids, it was easy to just tell wearing a face mask would have been easier to suggest us, rude as hell as if I'm begging the service, I'm paying for a service, smile, as front desk service, SMILE, some people dont know how to treat people, some good customer service training needed for everyone, a sign of any document for kids as I know they're not babysitting no one, in specific ages, but is better driving to Nashville Something is true here, most places here in Clarksville are very rude... regardless

Experiencia negativa: I called to schedule a new patient appointment and to make sure they accepted my insurance. The person on the phone "Heather", when I told her I had United Healthcare, assumed it was TennCare. I said it was not. I then told her I was insured through a large university, she stated "we don't take medicare". At that time, I decided that this office was not a good fit for me based on this person's assumptions and their rudeness. Questions regarding insurance is expected when making a doctor's appointment, however, when an employee cuts you off before you finish answering the question and assumes that your insurance is TennCare or Medicare, this is rude. I am unsure how the owner can state that the employee was not rude unless they were listening in on the phone conversation. I cannot help but think that someone with TennCare or Medicare who calls here to make an appointment would be rudely dismissed.

Experiencia negativa: BE AWARE! They are back to NOT letting anyone but the patient into the office! My husband could very well be sent on deployment and this could be the last time he sees his baby girl and they wouldn’t make an exception. They said they have had recent covid cases. He’s military he’s FULLY vaccinated. Ridiculous.

Experiencia negativa: i saw people absolutely loved this obgyn, and i just moved out of state so i made an appointment. i will never ever come back here again, some of the staff was so incredibly rude and made me extremely uncomfortable. the only person who made be feel concerned was the nurse practitioner student who was extremely sweet. everyone else who i had seen was so rude and made me very uncomfortable. this was my first time seeing and obgyn, and was not a good experience at all. i wanted to cry the whole time i was here. when i saw everyone was rude, i mean from the receptionist, to the nurses at the nurses station. i left here crying because of how unprofessional and rude the staff were to me.

I've had to call at least 3 times, each with lengthy and multiple hold times, to get an appointment or even an answer to a question. Understandably these things happen but it's been this way for a year. Sad to have to find another provider...I thought the OB and nurses were some of the best!

Experiencia negativa: I have called twice to make a new patient appointment and have been put on hold both times. The second time I was told it would be a “brief hold” and proceeded to wait more than 16 minutes before hanging up. I’m sure the providers are great, but it seems impossible to even make an appointment. If your staff is too busy, maybe think about having another way to make appointments or get more staff. I will be making an appointment elsewhere.

Experiencia positiva: All the women staff here are amazing, jennifer at the front desk, the lady that has taken my blood so many times. They are all friendly and helpful, but I haven’t had the best experience with Dr. William McIntosh. After I woke up from my first surgery with him he told me that my tubes were messed up beyond repair and that I have to get ivf to have a baby and left. He was cut and dry and no compassion. I guess some people don’t care about that stuff but it was just a hard devastating moment for me. Then I had an ectopic pregnancy about 6 weeks ago, then yesterday I went to the office and asked if they could do a blood test and I left a note for Dr. McIntosh because I was having pain just like when I first had the ectopic, I knew something was wrong. It was 11:53 and the front desk lady told me the lady that usually draws my blood goes on lunch at 12:15 to just come back in an hour, so as soon as I get in the car the pain sets in and I drove myself to the emergency room. The doctors at the hospital called Dr. McIntosh , I would assume they told them what I was going through, and he told them to just send me home and he would continue to monitor me. The doctor at the hospital said that didn’t set well with him. I had internal bleeding, the fetus had continued growing during the 6 six weeks and I had a 7 centimeter mass and inflammation grew onto an ovary as well, so they went ahead and did surgery despite what McIntosh said to send me home. They removed the tube and an ovary. I know there was no way for him to tell because my levels continued to go down but to just tell the doctors to send me home was questionable.

Experiencia negativa: Incredibly unprofessional staff. First they claimed they took my insurance, so I booked an appointment (nearly three months out). Then I finally go to my appointment and they inform me that they do not take my insurance and I have to pay out of pocket. So I pay what they ask, get my pap, pay the rest at checkout and then get billed three weeks later for some additional mystery amount. This clinic is a joke.

Experiencia negativa: I tried to set an appointment & front desk personnel is not giving the best first impression of what I want to deal with on this journey of bringing in a new baby. I have read reviews & I see the owner tries to clean up the rude behavior with these explanations of policy but until you are on the receiving end you won't understand. It's not what is said but how it's said, the heavy breathing in the phone, and the let me put you on hold in the middle of your speaking that you can't clean up for them. Needless to say I will keep searching.

Experiencia negativa: Spouses and significant others, if you are taking time off of work and driving across town to accompany your significant other at Women's Health Center of Clarksville, don't bother. Only the patient is allowed to enter. When the change was implemented, they did not notify us. A phone call could have alleviated this. I'm not certain when this change went into effect, however, today is January 19th 2022.

Experiencia fantástica: There was a bit of a wait, but I was a new patient and sometimes emergencies come up. My nurse poked her head in and let me know she didn't forget about me, so that was also nice. All staff members were extremely nice and professional. I saw Ms. Sabyl and she was extremely patient with my questions and concerns as I'm a complex patient. I'm very happy so far with my care there.

She was very kind and informative and got me the appt to get my bc prescription refilled. When I walked in, the woman at the desk was also helpful, she had me fill out the new patient paperwork and shortly after I was seen. Everyone was respectful and professional and made me feel comfortable and confident to continue being seen here! Thank you so much, ladies!♡

Experiencia fantástica: Being pregnant for the first time is really exciting but can be pretty scary and confusing at the same time.Today I had my first appointment with the midwife, Mrs Farmer, and she was incredibly nice with me. She explained and answered all of my questions even though I was pretty nervous in the beginning. I left the establishment happy that I was able to see my baby. Mostly happy that I choose a good and professional clinic. I am sure they will take good care of my baby and I. A small inconvenience was that my husband wasn't allowed inside, but hopefully soon that will change and he will be able to be present.

And after my procedure (ablation), the recovery was amazingly quick with minimal pain/discomfort. Very grateful to Dr. MacIntosh!

Experiencia fantástica: I have been a patient here since 2014. Everyone is wonderful!! I was able to successfully have 3 vbacs with the help of Dr.Mac(thank you). He is a Dr who is very knowledgeable and straight forward. I am so lucky to have found this clinic when we moved to Clarksville. I have seen his wife Dr.Lisa only a handleful of times , but she is equally as wonderful. I had the pleasure this last pregnancy to work with the midwife Saybl and she was fantastic!! Nikki and the nurses in the back all top notch, sweet ladies as well. The only negative(not even a negative) that I can say is that the office has changed in the last couple of years because it has grown substantially. Wait times are a bit longer than before. I feel that is to be expected with a growing community and influx of new patients. The wait times are worth the care you receive. I definitely would recommend!

Experiencia negativa: Dr is out of office. I can't receive refill on medication unless I call out of work tomorrow. I explained my work schedule 7am till 430. So, I can't come in. I was told I could just wait till next month. I have to call on the first day of my period to get this refill. I was told I have to meet with his nurse before she would write the rx. I completely understand a vacation. It just seems something should have been set in place.

Experiencia negativa: I missed a few appointments and they released me as a patient with no warning of any kind. I am 29 weeks pregnant and one of the appointments I missed was because I had an emergency with my son. I think it’s very unprofessional that they didn’t let me know if I missed one more appointment that I would be released as a patient. Also they didn’t even ask why I missed the appointment. So if you plan on going here I would recommend NEVER missing any appointments or they will “let you go” for malpractice.

Experiencia negativa: I called on a Monday evening concerning test results they actually called my mom about. Told them some issues I would soon be having due to my insurance and was asked if I could come in the very next day at 3:20. I agreed as long as my boss was okay with a short notice appointment. We ended the phone call with her say “see you tomorrow at 3:20” So I showed up for my appointment and they tell me it’s the next day. When I was told to be there THAT day. She told me they couldn’t get me in for something they messed up. I was extremely frustrated considering I had left work hours early to make it to this appointment. They almost sounded like they were trying to place the blame on me for coming a day early. When I’m fact I wasn’t a day early. Someone just scheduled that appointment wrong. I work at a doctors office, the only one of its kind in a 50 mile radius, and when WE mess up we take responsibility and do what we can for that patient. That almost always means getting them in. Instead of running them out and telling them they are wrong. Maybe we should learn how to book appointments.

Experiencia negativa: The 2 stars are for Dr. Hillary who was friendly and quick with it, and acknowledged that it was bad that I waited almost 1.5 hours to even get called to the back to wait 30 minutes more for a 5 minute pap. There's no reason I needed my full lunch hour + 2 hours sick leave (1 of which was unexpected) for a simple yearly check up. I checked with the front desk lady after an hour of waiting (granted - I should have checked sooner but I didn't want to be that lady, and now I'm this lady writing an upset review). After being checked , I was supposed to wait to get blood drawn out, but I had to leave because I was coming up on my 3rd hour there and needed to get back to work. It's probably a good place if you get seen in a timely manner, and can actually get your full appointment done.

Experiencia fantástica: Very friendly staff! I was seen quickly and I feel like Dr. William McIntosh really cared and listened to my concerns. I was concerned seeing a male doctor (bad experiences in the past), but he was charismatic and had great bedside manner and really put my care first. I’m super happy I chose them for my care.

I’ve had a couple other dr before him who were rude, uninvested in me, and honestly didn’t care! With dr Mac and his wife and awesome team it’s a different story! I love this place!!! Hands down the most informative and thorough appointment I’ve had with any physician ever. She made time for me, listened to me, answered my questions and didn’t act like she was in a rush to get out of there. She’s obviously very knowledgeable and understands how to speak to a patient in laymen’s terms. I was super impressed! In an age when physicians seem to be put out and impatient by face to face interactions, Dr Lisa was a breath of fresh air. Also, her nurse called me several weeks before my appointment because I had questions and she was very kind and spent the time on the phone to give me information. She was also very helpful while I was in the office. Can’t say enough about what a positive experience it was, and that is so rare these days.

I had to do a repeat C-Section with Dr.Mac and out of 4 I can honestly say it was the best I’ve had. It was really quick and went smoothly. I also got my tubes tied and that went quickly too. If this wasn’t my last baby I would have definitely wanted to use this health center again. The front staff are amazing and made me feel at home and I think they handled the COVID situation well. This was just an overall good experience for me, so thank you everyone and keep doing what you do!!

I really enjoyed seeing all the expecting moms, they were all so cute! Good luck to them with their new babies! I was pregnant with a twin pregnancy unfortunately neither one made it, but when i say dr Lisa and Amanda are such an amazing team to have! They both have watched me cry and blab at every single appointment I have been to. I unfortunately can’t continue my pregnancy as I’d love to but I am absolutely so thankful for this team! I went to them after researching every obgyn office in Clarksville with previous experience at another Clarksville office which I loved that doctor as well, but I feel like dr Lisa really becomes one with her patients and she really tries to get every answer for her patient even in the most difficult time, I love the fact that I can call the emergency line and get her or dr. William at any given time and they are so quick to respond and get me into the office to be seen, they never push me off to the emergency room. I’m very saddened that I will not be able to give birth and use this team this round but hopefully some time in the future I will be able to have dr. Lisa and Amanda again! I can never thank them enough for the love they showed to me ❤️❤️ 1000000/10 recommend. -Taylor Johnson
