Experiencia fantástica: My Pain Management doctor, Dr. Colleen Maxcy, recommended to me C.H.O.O.S.E. Physical Therapy. After a review of my MRI's, PT was recommended before any surgery was performed on my lower back. Years of sports and outdoor activities have left me with not only lower back and leg pain, but neurpoathy in my feet. After a phone consultation with Amy, the owner, I made an appointment and had a full evaluation with Martin, one of the Physical Therapists. Martin listened to my issues, and reviewed my MRI"S. He has been attentive, instructive, and provided hands on manipulation. Martin has been patient, and Amy checks on my progress regularly. I live in The Villages and drive two hours each way to C.H.O.O.S.E Physical Therapy. They are the best, and worth the drive. Their facility is clean, and the staff is professional. I highly recommend C.H.O.O.S.E. Physical Therapy.

They were willing to work with us since my son was coming to the Clearwater area for the summer. They fit us right in and although my son was nervous about going to physical therapy as soon as he went everyone put him at ease. Miriam was the therapist that he worked with and he would rave about her and his treatment after every appointment. I would definitely recommend Choose to anyone in bed of physical therapy and will use them again if there is ever a need.

Experiencia fantástica: I was in an auto accident. I have injuries to my neck and shoulder. I was recommended to C.H.O.O.S.E. Physical Therapy for treatment. I was given a free phone consultation with Amy Welsh - Owner of C.H.O.O.S.E. She was so informative and gave me plenty of time during the consultation. The 1st appointment Amy and a highly trained Physical Therapist did a full, comprehensive exam. Then I got my first treatment. I could barely move my arm and neck but the Therapist was gentle and did NOT cause me any more discomfort. Each appointment the Therapist was very hands on and doing not only manipulation but soft tissue work along with gentle exercises. I had quite an in depth program and went from not able to wash my hair or take clothing on or off, to regaining mobility so I was not fully dependent on someone to aid me. All the Physical Therapists and Techs are incredible! It is a place of expert care and I always got the service and care I needed. I highly recommend C.H.O.O.S.E.

Now that I am at Choose with Tracey, I am making significant progress and getting my life back. I truly can’t say enough good things about them, their professionalism and their office. They have private rooms which is great in case you need to cry (which obvi you do bc you’re in pain) and they are only seeing one patient at a time. It’s clean and everyone who works there is polite and nice.

I was fortunate to be under the care of Dr. Tracy McGowan who is not only highly educated and always keeping her knowledge up to date, but one who I consider to be an empath with healing hands. When I first started treatment I was in so much pain, and with her vast knowledge, great sense of humor and personality, the small yet mighty Tracy gave me back my life , and a re-newed "gorgeous " posture. Experiencia fantástica: I had significant improvements in 2 weeks, and found the staff friendly, knowledgeable, and very attentive. I went to CHOOSE to get help with my running form using their Runeasi gait analysis system. The therapist, Cera Heitkamp, made different physical assessments, and then used the Runeasi system to measure various aspects of my running form on a treadmill. From this she developed a plan of exercises to correct imbalances in my running form. After 2 weeks I could tell a difference. At a follow-up visit Cera was able to quantify the improvement with the Runeasi system. I am especially impressed by how closely Cera listened to me as I described my concerns, background, and goals. I would highly recommend CHOOSE to my family and friends.

I was struggling with significant lower back pain, an Achilles issue, and also a knee issue. Several doctors recommended surgery. After several treatments, my pain was gone and I am able to walk 4 miles again. Cera's knowledge, patience, and thoroughness is truly an asset and I am thankful to her (and C.H.O.O.S.E. Experiencia fantástica: This group is terrific, professional. They resolved a problem I had for 2-1/2 years that was impacting my ability to sit and travel. Other medical professionals misdiagnosed the issue, but the expertise and experience of the C.H.O.O.S.E team immediately recognized the prior diagnosis was incorrect, analyzed the issue and got to root cause. Through a series of treatments, education, and exercises by Sylvia, the problem has been substantially reduced and I now have the knowledge to control the issue. Back to my normal active lifestyle! Great staff, and I highly recommend this group.

Martin D. was my therapist and he is a consummate professional who was able to quickly focus in on my therapy needs and provide exercises that made a real difference in reducing pain and soreness and increasing my physical abilities. Experiencia fantástica: Awesome place to go if you need physical therapy. They are caring, personable and listen to the patient to make sure results are seen and felt! I have been going here for five years because of Ehlers Danlos and needing a daily maintenance plan. When I am somewhat stable, I can stretch the time in between visits. During a flare or after surgery, I am back to weekly or every other week scheduling. We follow the Muldowney Protocol for EDS and Amy tweaks it according to my pain and what is subluxed. It is well worth my drive of an hour and a half to go to someone who cares and understands what our bodies are doing and continues to learn how better to help those of us with chronic illnesses. I cannot thank them enough for helping me towards a less painful life.

Experiencia fantástica: I was involved in a horrific accident on my bicycle in September 2022, placing me in hospitals for 4 months. I suffered numerous injuries including a concussion, broken clavicle, broken ribs, broken sternum, broken acetabulum, broken vertebrae, among other issues, too numerous to list. For a while, I was on palliative care, but managed to recover to the point where I started to receive care. While in the hospital, Amy Welsh visited me several times, assessing my issues and providing me with treatment. I spent 2 months in bed, unable to move on my own! Eventually, I was transferred to St. Marks, where I received physical therapy, occupational therapy and speech therapy. I finally was able to stand and by the time I was sent home, I was able to walk with a walker. Upon discharge in December, I was able to return home. Amy arranged for me to start physical therapy at Choose and assigned me to Martin, a knowledgeable and competent therapist. Normally, therapists deal with one or two issues, however, in my case, Martin was assigned to what I refer to as "Mission Impossible"! I don't know how he managed to handle the multiple issues he was assigned to handle, but he did! He was encouraging, sympathetic, and yet pushed me to the point where i was able to walk without a walker and perform many of the functions necessary for daily living. The atmosphere and staff at Choose are positive and fun to the point where I always looked forward to my sessions. I was discharged in August after reaching maximal medical improvement. Although my life has substantially changed, I walk without a walker 1.2 miles 3 times a week, followed by cycling on a stationary recumbent in my garage, spinning for 30 minutes, followed by two ten minute sessions of Hill Climber and Intervals. Experiencia fantástica: To give an accurate review it’s important to give a brief history of my prior long haul COVID experience. For the past 7 months I have struggled with difficult breathing, unable to get a deep breathe, chronic fatigue (mandatory naps 2-3 times a day), difficulty sleeping and chest discomfort. As a healthy athlete I was not able to find medical help and I must of seen 4 different doctors with minimal to no relief. In the last month, I have been so blessed to be referred to Amy Welsh who has improved my condition and never gave up on me. She explored different modalities and found ways to give me back my life! I am even back playing pickleball 3 days a week soon to my daily routine! She is a gifted physical therapist and teams up with her patients and is so committed and does not give up until she gets results!

She is also working through my cervical instability I gained after a car accident. There is a great relief in knowing I have such a caring and amazing PT on my care team. Experiencia fantástica: I started going to CHOOSE PT a few months ago because I had found I had 2 bulging discs in my back. I was in horrific pain. I had been referred to CHOOSE THERAPY by my chiropractor, whom I highly respect. So I knew I was going to be in good hands. From the minute I walked in the door I felt like "this is where I want to be". You can feel the professionalism immediately and yet they make you feel like you are the ONLY person in the room. Thats rare to find. Within 6 weeks I have had a major decrease in pain. I respect the fact that they teach you exercises and urge you to do them at home so it will speed the healing process. I was driving all the way from Bradenton, 60 miles, 2x a week because I truly trusted them. I'm so happy with my results. I can wake up again without major pain. And now I know how to continue my exercises when I have flare ups. The Owner is very dedicated and committed to her work and to your health. It is very inspiring. Experiencia fantástica: I absolutely cannot express emphatically enough, how much the therapists at C.H.O.O.S.E. have given me my life back!!! I am actually a doctor of physical therapy, and after my car accident in 2019, attempted to treat myself, after unsuccessfully trying 5-6 other physical therapists, 2 neurologists, and 4 chiropractors. Unfortunately, I was also unsuccessful in treating myself, and in one last desperate attempt to rehabilitate my injuries and debilitating daily pain, tried C.H.O.O.S.E PT. I am SO glad that I did!! Within 2 weeks of treatment, I noticed some improvements, within a couple months, I noticed significant changes, and now at 7 months in, I am having the best quality of life I have had in 4 years since my auto accident that caused severe daily migraines, nausea, pain, and vertigo. I am so thrilled with the level of expertise, manual therapy skill, and problem solving I receive through this clinic, I actually drive 2.5 hours to be there every single week. I have never had a physical therapist (or any health care professional, for that matter) dedicate the time, attention, and dedication to problem solving and coming up with new approaches, techniques, and strategies, as my therapists at C.H.O.O.S.E. And it has entirely changed my life! I found out (partially through the help of my PT here) that I actually have a genetic condition that causes hyper mobility. The tools they have given me (primarily Amy-the owner, but I also see Martin and Shelly some) have been instrumental in my ability to get through daily life and exercising without further injury or pain. I thought I had tried every type of PT, chiropractic, or massage out there, and certainly had tried medication and gadgets galore, and am beyond thankful I gave this clinic a try. However, I was sent to Choose for a frozen shoulder and my therapist, Martin performed miracles for me. After a couple months of 2x per week therapy with Martin, I now have use of my shoulder and have no pain. No, it’s not perfect, but at my golden age I expect aches. Experiencia fantástica: I am writing to recommend CHOOSE Physical Therapy because of the excellent care I received during my recovery. I have been going to CHOOSE for the past three months. While under the care of Lynn Bankston, I received much better care than in the past with other physical therapy centers. I have had six total knee replacement surgeries and a broken hip all in the past seven years. I was 62 when I had my first knee replacements; both unfortunately were defective and broke after a few months. After that experience, it was one knee replacement after another. In the past I had many therapists who required strengthening exercises. Each time my therapy sessions ended, I was back to a walker and felt pain with every step. I was once very active, so being bound to a walker and taking pain pills was a hard reality for me to accept. When my doctor recommended CHOOSE Physical Therapy, I finally found a facility and therapist that knew how to give me the much needed help I was seeking. Lynn used hands on techniques to focus not only on my knees but also on my legs and ankles with exercising. Within one month I quit taking pain pills and can walk without my walker PAIN FREE! I was so impressed with everyone at CHOOSE for their positive attitudes and encouraging words. It made a dramatic difference in my life. I would highly recommend CHOOSE for anyone with joint problems.

Experiencia fantástica: I've gone to the Physical Therapists at CHOOSE PT several times over the past 5 years for serious problems with my lower back, hips, neck and upper back. Each time, I have been amazed by how skilled the PT's are and how they are able to isolate and resolve issues that others have been unable to effectively treat. Most recently, my back acted up after a long overseas trip. The therapists at CHOOSE found the problems, immediately reduced the pain and irritation, and had me back to normal functioning within a few weeks. Experiencia fantástica: I came to CHOOSE Physical Therapy looking for a wellness program that would assist me in my workouts at the gym. I had been experiencing hip pain after doing yoga and weight lifting classes and didn't want to go back just to re-injure myself. After being treated and released from a different Physical therapist, I found CHOOSE had a personal wellness program. My first visit was most impressive and informative. It included an hour and a half evaluation of your functionality assessment by Amy, the Physical Therapist. For the first time ever, I learned more about what my body was and wasn't able to do! Then you receive the evaluation and are started on your own program to strengthen the areas that need strengthening and breathing techniques as well as exercises to continue at home. Lewis was a great encouragement and motivator with the exercises that were outlined for me. I soon realized I had been incorrectly doing my exercises and therefore causing me discomfort as well as not working out the correct muscles. I like to tell people this program is similar to those that want to improve their golf game or tennis game - They seek out a professional to assist them personally in their skills and muscle and endurance. With this program CHOOSE Physical Therapy Wellness program does this for anyone and everyone, including me, an over 55 year old woman who just wants to do her workouts properly and grow old physically fit into her 90's. I highly recommend this program. It has made a difference in my physical well being.

A few years ago I suffered a bad pulled hamstring while playing tennis and was referred to C.H.O.O.S.E. by my primary care physician. Thanks to the comprehensive care provided by Amy Welsh and her thoroughly professional and genuinely concerned therapists at C.H.O.O.S.E I recovered fully and soon was able to return to playing the sport I love. Last year I experienced balance problems caused by inner-ear-related dizziness. Once again I turned to the therapists at C.H.O.O.S.E. and followed their in-depth program of balance exercises. I have not experienced dizziness since that time. Just recently, when my wife suffered a broken arm, I asked our orthopedist to send her to C.H.O.O.S.E., and the orthopedist was thrilled to refer her to C.H.O.O.S.E., where my wife is currently recovering rapidly because of the excellent care provided by their team of therapists. Both my wife and I are very impressed with their knowledge, kindness, and attention to detail. I would unhesitatingly recommend them to anyone in need of physical therapy.

Experiencia fantástica: From the first phone call, C.H.O.O.S.E. made over-the-top effort to take care of my needs. The owner herself gave me a cell phone number with which to reach her. I was then worked with from the time I could physically get out of the house after the auto accident. My evaluation was much more than that; again the owner, Amy, started to relieve me of pain. Each and every therapist and assistant I saw for the next six months was thorough and professional. I was able to progress from wheelchair to walker to cane to no support. I'm back to the physical activities I love to do now, thanks to this wonderful therapy facility!

All very good and yielding fair to good results for multiple problems (of course, all relating to one another). I began working here and explored the idea of being treated by Amy Welsh because of the incredible reviews. Although I am trained in this field, I was still reserved about my benefits I would experience in PT because I had done so much in the past. I have to say it has been great! Several of my issues were resolved almost immediately and a few others we continue to address with good progress (low back, upper back, weakness, stability issues). Amy is a fantastic clinician and can truly target the issues at hand and addresses them immediately. Her passion for what she does is spilling over and is very motivating! This is great for the healing process because it is not just about the body, the mind is a key component in one's success. Experiencia fantástica: On the brink of surgery… Severe and debilitating nerve pain in both arms, loss of strength in my left arm and hand, weakness in the right arm and hand, severe burning and nerve pain in my neck inhibited me from being able to raise my arms, having to sleep sitting up in a lounge chair for nearly 3 months because laying down flared up excruciating nerve pain in both arms. I had all of these symptoms and having reached the end of my rope I had scheduled surgery to have 3 vertebrae fused together in my neck in the hopes that it would solve my pain. That is the condition I was in at the beginning of April when I talked with Amy Welsh, the owner of CHOOSE Physical therapy about my condition. She agreed to see me and work with me in the hope of helping to lower the amount of pain I was in and putting me on the road to recovery…WITHOUT having the forever life altering, not guaranteed to fix my issue surgery. Amy began a conservative treatment to calm the raging nerve pain and then started addressing the neck itself. Treatment consisted of manual therapy, ultrasound for the pain and tightness and laser to address the inflammation, once the nerves were calmed she started me on static cervical traction to ease the pressure on the herniated and bulging discs in my neck that were pressing on the nerves. I’m extremely happy with the treatment I have received and I’m feeling almost back to my normal self and I’m able to get back to my work as a personal trainer and back to my life. My pain level is almost zero and my mobility is back to about 90% of what i used to be. Amy with her years of hands on experience and Megan with her knowledge and professionalism have gotten me back to doing what I love helping other people get better and stronger as well as being able to enjoy my life with my family without pain pills and NOT having surgery. Experiencia fantástica: I've had both of my kids in to Choose Physical Therapy over the years rehabbing sports injuries. Amy has been a real savior on multiple ocasions getting my kids strong and back on the baseball field and basketball court. She has a genuine real concern that her patients get the proper attention and treatment to get back to where they were before the injuries. Both my kids feel comfortable going there. We also had the oppportunity to work with Brian last week and came away with the same great experience as Amy. Experiencia fantástica: I have been coming here to CPT for a few months now, I was rear ended pretty badly which gave me 7 bulging disks and a good case of whiplash. Steve has been the most amazing therapist! Along with Tracy and Catherine and Amy. They all are so knowledgable and caring. I have improved so much. Before I couldn't turn my head over my shoulder or sit in the car for more than 20 minutes, but now I have almost all of my range of motion back and I can drive as long as I like. I also can ride my motorcycle with no pain in my lower back or shoulders. They are miracle workers!

Experiencia fantástica: I began seeing Amy at C.H.O.O.S.E. at age 15 after two years of pain from scoliosis and arthritis which greatly affected my studies as a ballet dancer. Amy is thorough, she would not let me leave any appointment until I was pain free. She also taught me stabilizing exercises that were specific to a dancer. In addition to getting my tricky spine in alignment, Amy is also able to rid me of chronic headaches that accompany my other problems and she gets to know her patients personally. I adore working with her and come in any time I need a "tune up."

I had been to one group before that just moved me from one machine to another after my knee injury. I never got better then I found CHOOSE PT. They are HANDS ON! I needed massage exercises and stretching until the surgery for total knee replacement to prepare for recovery. They were spot on with what I needed to do after the replacement. Their compassion , patience and expertise helped me tremendously in my recovery. I would highly recommend this group!

The laser brought my pain level down from a 10 to a 3 very quickly and Cera’s expertise and treatment were right on target. Experiencia fantástica: I have had a great experience at this office. I’ve been to many physical therapists in my life this is by far the best i have ever been to. Amy Walsh has helped me with my very complex case I have many joint issues many injuries and I am learning how to correct my own alignment I am now working with the personal trainer Patrick and I am developing strength which I never thought I could do. Once I became functional again after the injury and then can go to their wonderful personal trainer who is skilled and has worked with them for so long that I don’t have to worry about being injured by a personal trainer he handles complicated people and he’s also in school for physical therapy. There’s so much to say I I’m not sure where to begin honestly. Cera Ron Martin and Amy all have amazing skills. Amy has taken me from being scared to death of everything because I’ve had so many injuries to having confidence and being able to actually go away and manage my body and keep it out of pain. That to me is a miracle she takes time energy her heart is huge she’s so caring and each and everyone of these therapists is the same way. I cannot say enough about the kindness and the caring of this team and they are also personable I am happy when I’m there. This practice has taken me from being a fearful person and a lot of pain to being a more confident person with more strength and 90% less pain. The other wonderful thing is anytime I injure myself I can go there and know I’m gonna be back in shape in no time. I just had a very bad injury from a chiropractor and I would say within a month I was functional again and I was just taking stairs like no problem while I was away this week. Shoulders hips knees feet neck complications they can handle it all and they do they have many of us little complicated people there. The place is beautiful and clean and each room is its own area for each patient the front desk people are so great and the assistants are amazing the ones that do the ultrasound laser electric stim etc. They brighten my day and they’re restoring me to health.

Through several weeks of therapy at CHOOSE Physical Therapy, my pain is all but gone and I am back to my normal outdoor fun! CHOOSE has very knowledgeable and experienced therapists who effectively assessed the source of my pain. They developed a comprehensive and very effective program of pain alleviating procedures and exercises. In addition, their technical support and administrative staff are very responsive and friendly. Experiencia fantástica: I had intense physical pain in my lower back region and could not figure out what it was. I was referred to CHOOSE and Tracy McGowan was my therapist. Come to find out I had a misaligned pelvis! She did some therapeutic work in that region, and gave me some restorative exercises. As a result, I haven't felt this good in years. (I'm wondering how long my pelvis is out of alignment) Needless to say, the entire staff was very nice and Tracy was very accommodating. I don't believe in miracles, but this is as close as it comes!

Experiencia fantástica: I had used a number of physical therapy places Dr's sent me to until one of my Doctor's sent me to C.H.O.O.S.E now they are the only place I will go. I really feel the therapists there work with the patient. They do this as they evaluate and guide the patient. They listen, respond and probe as needed. They don't seem to tie themselves to a protocol. It's clear from the results I have had after serious nerve damage and other issues that they know what they are doing.

She is very knowledgeable and has a great positive attitude and a good sense of humor which are skills you need to perform this job well. One of my shoulder surgeries was was a full reverse shoulder replacement so naturally things to not function as they normally do shin regulara shoulder. She was able to come up with some exercises that were very effective. I highly recommend her.

I then reached out to my Chiropractor Dr. Hunt and under her advice, I had an MRI which revealed herniated and bulging discs in my neck. She then referred me to Amy at Choose Physical Therapy for a natural alternative verses surgical fusions to help restore those discs. From my very first extremely thorough evaluation to all subsequent appointments, I was confident I was in good hands as Amy and her staff made it their mission to help me out of pain and facilitate healing in my body! Experiencia fantástica: I had tried several other physical therapists over a ten year period for an ongoing lower lumbar issue and CHOOSE was by far the most thorough and set me up for the most success in overcoming my chronic pain. They have a fabulous, caring team of therapists and staff, lead by Amy, that truly care about their patients’ health and well-being. I know I was a stubborn case that took longer than normal, but they hung in there with me and everyone had a hand in making my treatment ultimately successful. They did a great job of patient education, using varied and state-of-the-art treatments and exercises and even referred me to other specialists when appropriate. I would highly recommend CHOOSE if you want the best individualized physical therapy and not just a cookie-cutter plan.

Amy was in the first years of establishing the practice when I first became acquainted with her practice. From my very first visit I realized that this group of therapists were "different" from other therapy groups with whom I had been associated. The therapists all had a wonderful balance between truly caring about whether their patients got better, extremely competent and effective "hand's-on" treatments, and above average knowledge base in their field of practice. Amy and all the therapists at C.H.O.O.S.E. treat the body as a "whole." Yes they concentrate on the injured or affected part, but they also realize and educate how the affected part effects the entire body and how the entire body responds to the affected area. They not only perform exceptional treatments but they are able to convey to the patient in a very "commonsensical" way what is going on in their treatment along with educating the patient on how to maintain their bodies so as to prevent re-injury. Amy and her staff of physical therapists and physical therapy aides all are "like-minded" in their caring approach with all of them sharing a similar philosophy towards treating and helping the patient get better. I could go on and on about the attributes of the C.H.O.O.S.E. Physical Therapy team. They truly, truly care. Even if they are fully booked they will make time for one of their patients who is in pain and needs to get in right away. I have seen the expansion of this practice triple from the small 3-room practice in the beginning to what it has now become. Experiencia fantástica: I have been a post-surgery patient of CHOOSE on several occasions and cannot say enough about the expert care and concern that I've experienced. My latest experience was a wrong diagnosis by a surgeon which led to therapy that didn't seem to help my situation. Amy did her best to get the surgeon to reconsider his diagnosis and perform an MRI. After he refused she encouraged me to see someone for a second opinion which I did. It was obvious from the MRI and examination that I had a completely torn rotator cuff and which needed surgical repair. As soon as the surgeon permitted I was back at PT at CHOOSE and although I had a difficult time because of the initial wrong diagnosis, Amy and her staff worked with me patiently until I had full use of my shoulder and arm. I recommend this practice based on Amy's expertise and total dedication.

Experiencia fantástica: When I first went to CHOOSE PT I suffered with Vertigo, balance issues, pain in my neck, and back. Amy (the owner) is amazing!!!!!!! (Can I even call her a magician(lol) for her wealth of knowledge and techniques she utilizes for relief?) She first rid me of severe vertigo and told me tips and exercises to keep the vertigo away. After treating the vertigo, Amy worked on my balance through exercises to do at the gym and at home. She spent the time to ensure I did the exercises correctly before I was to do them at home. Then after another in-depth evaluation, she worked on my pains. Again, she gave me tips, and supervised exercises to do at home, after I was able to do them correctly at the gym. If any of the exercises caused a flare, she would immediately stop me, and work on the flare until it was gone. She told me exercises to do at home, in detail, with pictures and instructions so I didn't have to go to PT as often. Each time I went to see Amy I felt better and better. Now I am truly out of pain, no vertigo and no balance issues. Now I am on maintenance and see the PT when I have a flare, and each time she provides relief. Even though she is very busy, she always fits me in to her schedule! I tell everyone who mentions needing a PT to go to CHOOSE and they will not be disappointed! I've been to other therapists and NEVER NEVER had the relief I experience at CHOOSE! All of the PT's are highly educated and very qualified, and are committed to furthering their knowledge in their profession. YOU CAN NOT GO WRONG AT CHOOSE PT

At that time, I had significant back pain, limited range of motion, wore a back brace every day and used a cane. I had difficulty performing routine daily activities without pain. On my first visit, I saw Amy Welsh, Owner, who proceeded to give me a thorough back evaluation and found my lumbar spine to be quite unstable. Amy and Martin, another therapist, worked diligently to find the best exercises for me and now, at the end of July, I am seeing tremendous results. The Gravity Fit Program, which they recommended along with a variety of stretching and strengthening exercises, has helped stabilize my back and considerably decreased my pain. I appreciate the care and encouragement that Amy and Martin have continuously given me to produce such good results. I fully expect to be golfing again soon! I highly recommend C.H.O.O.S.E. Experiencia fantástica: I can’t recommend C.H.O.O.S.E. enough! Amy is a brilliant therapist—experienced, knowledgeable, compassionate, and always attentive to my unique limitations and goals. I have a rare genetic condition (Hypermobile Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome) which changes how my muscles work, causes multiple daily joint subluxations/dislocations, creates constant pain, and causes profound fatigue. On top of that I have spinal cord and brainstem injury from cervical instability requiring a C1-C2 fusion. Plus I’ve had POTS for at least 5 years. Before working with Amy I was nearly bed-bound, too weak to sit up for even an hour, and struggling to roll over in bed. For years I’ve been told the only thing that might help is exercise, but every time I followed the recommendations I ended up bed bound for at least. two weeks and wracked with painful spasms. Amy is the first provider who knows at least as much as I do about hEDS and she respects my body’s need to start small and progress slowly. She is fluent in the Muldowney Protocol for hEDS but always provides adjustments and assistance to meet me where I am (even when I could barely contract my abdominal muscles) without ever shaming me for my weakness. She also advocates fiercely for me when coordinating care with other doctors and obtaining necessary braces. And she is also a pleasure to work with—always encouraging, optimistic, and flexible. On top of that, the office is full of attentive staff that help each other and encourage each other to advance their skills—she’s training all the therapists to do the Muldowney Protocol! I have now exercised daily for over a month without spasms. My joints are dislocating/subluxing much less and my pain is improved. Best of all, I now have hope that I can get more functional and more independent! She really has turned my life around and my family and I are extremely grateful.

Experiencia negativa: BEWARE I’m only giving 1stars for the therapist here which are truly amazing! I had Yvonne who was an absolute miracle worker. However, I do not believe she is with the office any longer and has moved to Westchase. We were told by the OWNER (I can not recall her name) that our insurance was in network and was quoted a specific price. Once the bills started to process, we were told by my insurance company ( not the office) that choose was not in network and I had to pay any remaining balance. I went in thinking I was paying $120 for my first visit, and $75.00 for all remaining visits because I had to meet my deductible. Now I’m told by the owner that I have to pay almost double those prices. Very unprofessional. I went back to my prescribing physician, because I needed to find a place in network, and he told me that he will not be referring to this office any longer because this is not the first, second or 10th time this has happened. The office is also very outdated and unclean. I am grateful that In my situation I was not required to use the gym or equipment. I was treating with my therapist when the owner came over and made me fell pressured to buy a laser package or something called gravity health. My review is for you to beware of the way the practice is. Ask first if they are in network and do your homework with your insurance company to make sure what they are telling you is true. Remember you go 2-3 times a week and get hit hard once the bills start coming in, and sadly for me it was 3 weeks before I knew and had 7 visits. I can not discount the amazing care by my physical therapist, and if I could review on her, I would give a 5 star.

After 6 In-Patient physical therapy sessions (that, quite frankly, were somewhat painful), I was allowed "X" number of Out-Patient therapy sessions and decided on C.H.O.O.S.E. Physical Therapy. I could not be more pleased with that decision. Expecting to undergo additional pain, I was quickly assured by my PT, Martin, (yes, you are assigned ONE PT to work with you), that they do not subscribe to pushing you past your comfort level...that their aim is for you to achieve your goals through massage, exercise and various other protocols, pain free. And that is exactly what happened. After just 9 visits, my Range of Motion is well past 120 degrees, I am pain free and my surgeon has given me the OK to play golf...just 2 months after surgery!! Amy (the owner), Martin, and the remainder of her superbly trained and professional PTs, Aides and Staff, provide excellent service and awesome care. Amy, proprietor of CHOOSE, worked with me to eliminate the pain, prevent further back pain and how to do exercises to keep from being hobbled while showing me how to walk with a cane. After my total hip replacement, I requested CHOOSE PT for my rehab. I worked with Joe Pawlik for four weeks after the first two weeks of home care and was amazed how quickly I progressed. Experiencia fantástica: I had great experience with Joesph Pawlik. Broke ankle hiking in NM. Would go back to Joe in a heartbeat. After surgery, looked hi & lo for PT. Joe was way above anyone else I found. Joe is always asking how you are doing. Joe is flexible, so when we started strengthening the knee, Joe was willing to work with both knees to help me compensate for an older injury. Joe listens, so when I told him my goal was hiking, we worked out a training plan in hiking boots on uneven ground, so I will be ready to hike when the time comes. Joe was always friendly to me and we had many good discusisons. Also. Shout out to CHOOSE for hiring young interns -- giving the next generation good training.

I've been in therapy for 6 months and have progressed from using a walker to returning to normal life! Yvonne Schloegl specializes in spinal care, and she helped me get out of pain, strengthen my core, learn how to help myself. Her manual techniques are extremely effective in reducing pain and opening pathways to greater movement. Yvonne is a great teacher--she showed me how to do exercises at home and she added new ones as I progressed. Yvonne has a great sense of humor so you look forward to your appointment even when it is three times a week. I want to mention that CHOOSE runs very smoothly--you can always get an appointment, the receptionists are organized and friendly, there is no waiting time, and all the therapists are very professional. Experiencia fantástica: Let me begin by saying I had an lumbar laminectomy 4 years ago this August 2017 I met Certified Orthopedic Manual Therapist Miss Yvonne Schloegl thru my Orthopedic surgeon Dr. Anthony Moreno. She was very firm on what I needed to do after post surgery. Six weeks ago I injured myself in the lower back. I went back to Dr. Moreno, he proceed to get me back into therapy again, and he recommended Miss Yvonne Schloegl. She had moved on from Dr Moreno, he handed me the paperwork to make an appointment with her. First and Foremost I was in extremely amount of pain. Yvonne was straight forward and No B.S. after the first visit she took considerable amount of time, and again explaining what I needed to do and the exercises. God has my witness my pain had diminished BIG TIME after the first visit. I have been in to see Miss Yvonne four times now. She has reminded me to be very careful, do my exercises, and help build my core. Listen Up People if you are in Pain... This lady is impeccable... Thank You Yvonne God Bless You Scott

Experiencia fantástica: After a bout with breast cancer and a surgery that did not go well, I was left with intense nerve and muscle pain in my neck and shoulders. Thank God I was referred to Amy and her staff! Tracy became my full time therapist and has been working with me for 9 months now. My quality of life has improved so much. This is a "hands on" rehabilitation center. I truly believe had I gone elsewhere, I would not be where I am today. I actually believe I would be worse. Experiencia fantástica: After being diagnosed with herniated discs in my lower back, it was suggested that I receive physical therapy. After much research (including office tours) into local facilities that offer this service, I chose CHOOSE based on the cleanliness and size of their office, as well as the wide array of devices and machines to be utilized in the recovery and strengthening of my body. Another plus was they never overscheduled appointments, creating a long lobby wait or crowded gym/workout area. Their staff is super knowledgeable and friendly, as is their office staff. Yvonne, who was my personal physical therapist, has been extremely helpful and informative throughout the entire process, i.e., assessing the ailment, developing and executing a treatment plan. If you're looking for physical therapists, I highly recommend you do what I did: schedule an appointment to tour the facility and meet the staff and you'll see there is no better place or people to help you to feel better.

Experiencia fantástica: I chose C.H.O.O.S.E Physical Therapy based on my friend and former tennis partner's experience with successful rehab of her torn meniscus. After arthroscopic surgery for a meniscus tear in February, I made an appointment to begin therapy with Joe Pawlik early in March. I told him I wanted to get back to playing competitive tennis and golfing--and he got me there, with carefully orchestrated, increasingly challenging sets of exercises. I'll admit I originally thought I would never be able to do all he described I would be doing--20 lbs of leg weight??!! But he was right, and I am back on the court and course, weeks earlier than when I had arthroscopic surgery on my other knee six years ago. I have lived in several cities and have had numerous courses of P.T.for numerous injuries, but C.H.O.O.S.E is by far away the best. I highly recommend them.

Experiencia fantástica: I had an unusual, difficult ACL recovery. I saw many different therapists and CHOOSE was one of the best. Everyone I worked with was very friendly and understanding. They used a variety of approaches and introduced me to new methods I've never seen before. Their care and concern was way more than expected. They did everything they could and more to get me back into my sport.

Experiencia fantástica: My heartfelt thanks to Amy and staff for the exemplary job done in rehabbing both my knee and hand. Most amazing is the return of sensation in my hand following an injury which caused nerve damage. The laser treatments in particular dramatically improved the numbness in my fingers and the sensation is now almost completely normal. The remarkable part is that this improvement occurred four years post injury! Thanks so much Amy, Tracy and Megan!!!

Experiencia fantástica: After suffering for over a decade with daily spine pain, today I'm pain free. I have not one, but six herniated discs in my spine. I had learned to live with the injury although it was exhausting. My Dr. sent me to Choose Physical Therapy and it was nothing short of life-changing. Joe was my therapist. He brought many years of experience to the table and was confident that my situation was manageable. Three months later, I wake up with no pain, I go to bed with no pain. That was something I gave up on a long time ago. Thank you, Joe. Thank you, Choose Physical Therapy. Not all P.T. centers are equal. I highly recommend anyone who needs help to check them out.

Experiencia fantástica: I have struggled with terrible plantar fasciitis for almost 1 year. Multiple trips to the foot doctor provided temporary relief through cortisone shots and custom shoe inserts. Then the wife told me to see Amy at C.H.O.O.S.E. Physical Therapy. I spent 20 minutes at the office every day for 5 days. Amy and Megan treated my foot with a pain relieving laser and showed me a series of simple exercises that I should be doing to not only relieve the pain, but fix the problem. Now two weeks later - its working. Almost completely pain free! Thank you.

I had months of groin and hip pain, had been treated elsewhere without success. I am now very much better and strongly recommend this facility. This is a group you can rely on. Experiencia fantástica: Thanks to the patient and wonderful care I have received from Jolee Karr and Jon Dyer, I am now able to walk without pain and am almost back to my old self. I was diagnosed with moderate to severe arthritis in both knees and was quite miserable when I started therapy at C.H.O.O.S.E. Hours of exercise and treatments have made walking and most activity so much better and I will always be grateful. I certainly would recommend C.H..O.O.S.E. to anyone seeking physical therapy.
