Experiencia fantástica: I have been going to Athletico Columbia North for several months for both occupational and physical therapy. Angie Hall was recommended to me as an upper extremity specialist. Her treatment of my elbow was highly professional and delivered with a high level of expertise and within the context of considering the discomfort I was experiencing post-surgery. She was terrific! Kristi Shroeder, DPT is my physical therapist. I have been working with her for over a year in association with a couple of chronic issues. When I say that she is the main reason I can walk, I really mean it. She is masterful at assessing my needs and putting me through a program to meet those needs while I’m enjoying every minute of it. She is my angel! Lastly, every staff member is welcoming and helpful. The facility is bright and cheerful. It is a fine place that “treats” you well!

Julia was very knowledgeable and helpful in determining the cause of my pain and giving me stretches that helped me to recover very quickly, which allowed me to resume my training pain free just days after the pain began. This is the second time Athletico has saved me from an unknown pain during marathon training.

Experiencia fantástica: If you have hand issues or have had hand surgery, contact Angie Hall. She will get back all your hand is capable of. She was able to get both my hands and elbow back when I thought it wasn’t possible after surgery. She is very knowledgeable and compassionate. I will always go to Angie. She is the BEST! I’ve also had Mike Tipton for shoulder issues and most recently, post foot surgery issues. He, too, is kind and very reassuring. He challenged me to improve each time even when I doubted I could do it. And he has gotten me back to walking! You can’t go wrong with either of these two! I’m sure the rest of the staff are just as capable. Fortunately for me, I haven’t needed their services…yet. But if I do, I know I’ll be in great hands.

I worked with Julia and she was amazing. Taking time to listen, slowly working with me about how to weight-bear, all the way up to finally walking, balance, stairs and more. She gave me techniques and exercises to do at home, which I faithfully completed. All of the work they put into teaching and slowly working with each person gets them back to their best potential. Athletico had such a large impact on my life, as I was able to get back into the classroom and teach. It's comforting to know, if I ever need guidance and PT again, I am going here 100%! Experiencia fantástica: I’ve not had good experiences with PT in the past so I was hesitant when I received my DRs orders to try Athletico PT for a shoulder/collarbone injury. Cary & Mike were my therapists and they are awesome. I didn’t feel like I was being herded out. The whole group of therapists & receptionist were more than welcoming. I actually felt like they wanted me there & wanted me to heal properly. They didn’t rush me. They took their time to explain my exercises, how to do them correctly & why these help my area of pain. I felt like I was always priority even when Cary had 3 of us at a time. Cary is awesome & ask for his timer! I can’t emphasize what a difference Cary has made with my injury. I am able to identify my pain and use the excersises he provided. This whole group is outstanding. I can’t recommend them enough. Thanks Mike & Cary!

Their hand therapist even came to check out my own surgery bandages and brought me fresh coffee. What I’ve observed of my friend’s PT session looks like they’ve got it together here. ????

I had to reschedule and normally I get real anxious about it because I feel bad about it but they understand life happens and doesn’t make you feel bad about it which is refreshing! Experiencia fantástica: Rehab is considered the key to a successful outcome following orthopaedic surgery. Athletico is providing me the arena to reach my goals following total knee replacement and biceps tendon repair. Physical therapists Mike and Angie along with Carey, PTA provide my blueprint. They cannot do it for me but with their instructions, encouragement and motivation techniques I find myself enjoying the hard work. The atmosphere is something I value over a crowded and busy environment. Katherine designs such a calm schedule for the therapists. I am so very glad I chose Athletico for my rehab process. The sign in the ladies restroom sums it up, “… not just a process of recovery but a process of discovery”.

Although it was my first experience with them, they immediately made me feel at ease. They were cognizant of my needs and concerns, yet gently pushed me to do as much as I could to recuperate quickly. They believed in my abilities and helped me heal faster then I thought possible. They did this by tailoring a program to my individual needs, pushing me just the right amount, and supporting me throughout. I was impressed by them and the facility in its entirety. It also is very appealing during this time of COVID panic that the facility is so clean. Two thumbs up and all my gratitude go to the folks at Athletico !!!

Experiencia fantástica: I have been coming to see Angie for ongoing issues with my hand and arm. I have talked to numerous doctors - rheumatoid and osteoarthritis, I’ve had MRI, X-ray, blood work, nerve studies and none of these led to an answer for how to relieve my pain. Just after two visits with Angie in physical therapy I feel massive relief and improvement and can actually type in a keyboard without pain. If you are at your wits end, I 100% recommend trying Athletico for hand therapy!
