Experiencia fantástica: If you need a Physical Therapist, try as hard as you can to be seen by Dr. Siva Parnam! I was diagnosed with spinal stenosis and two bulging lumbar discs. The spasmodic pain was excruciating. In 21 visits over seven weeks he has taken me from being unable to walk to dismissing me with no pain and normal activity. Dr. Parnam has an unusual ability to instill confidence, hope and trust in his treatments. He is extremely knowledgeable, innovative and kind. He encouraged physical activity, he suggested limiting sugar (for lessening inflammation, with the added benefit of a bit of weight loss), he allowed the use of a walker until normal walking was restored, he had me check with my doctor for a prescription for Cymbalta (which has been shown to help with lower back pain—the epidural cortisone injection and hydrocodone prescribed by doctors had done nothing), and he included in my care dry needle acupuncture, deep muscle massage, and Osteopathic type adjustments. And a few more pluses for Dr. Parnam, he is SUCH a nice person, has SUCH a nice personality, is SUCH a good motivator and he has become SUCH a good friend. I will hate for my treatment to end—I will miss our time together!
