Experiencia fantástica: Best thing I ever did for myself. I have many health issues. That have left me weak. By joining the YMCA I am getting out of the house. Learning new things, meeting new people. I am getting stronger. It will take me a while. It also has helped with my mental health. I love it.

Experiencia fantástica: The Lakewood YMCA has a great weight room upstairs with a wide variety of free weights and machines, all in great condition. The staff is excellent and the trainers are competent and helpful. The rooms are being cleaned constantly and broken equipment is fixed right away. Keep up the good work!

Experiencia fantástica: Staff is very helpful and kind, the facility is very clean, the scheduling for the pool is great plenty of reasonable family swim is scheduled. I love getting my workout in, then swimming. My boyfriend and I love to take all of our children there for family swim. The kids LOVE it. They also have a daycare in the facility which is extremely convenient for us. Well worth paying for a family membership over other rec centers such as John Coyne in Brooklyn.

Experiencia fantástica: The folks behind the desk are so friendly and welcoming. They are also professional and well informed. It was a pleasure to complete my registration and receive my ID card. My only complaint was how rude some members were to the ladies who were simply trying to do their job. I think the YMCA should post some sort of sign warning that bad behavior towards staff will not be tolerated and will result in loss of privileges.
