Lancaster Physical Therapy & Sports Medicine is an independently owned and operated private practice clinic. We are truly vested in each individual patient encounter, as well as within the Lancaster community. Our commitment to you is evident in our treatment model: strict, one-on-one care. This allows for maximal patient-therapist interaction to create more hands-on time and faster treatment progressions while leaving fewer questions unanswered.

We aim to provide a supportive, evidence-based, and active rehab environment with a focus on consistency of care (same clinician every visit) and supreme interaction with the clinician (appointments on the hour).

Our approach is straight-forward and begins with a comprehensive evaluation and individualized treatment plan that we tailor to your goals, allowing the best current practice models and evidence dictate our strategy. Recovery is then an active process, requiring the patient/client to engage in all aspects of care. We have a hands-on style that is unmatched.

Lancaster Physical Therapy & Sports Medicine is the only clinic within 60 miles to offer ASTYM treatment. These techniques, developed in the Midwest, seek to revolutionize the treatment of soft tissue disorders.

We do our best to accommodate patients and provide evaluations within 24 hours. Mic is licensed to practice "Direct Access Physical Therapy," which allows the physical therapist to be the first point of access to care to initiate treatment without a referral from another provider.

We have recently remodeled and expanded our facility to include increased private treatment rooms, new equipment, and a large, functional space with turf flooring. Our spacious clinic provides a professional and friendly community atmosphere for everyone working toward PT goals.

Our facility is easy to reach from West Lancaster, Millersville, New Danville, Mountville, and Columbia. Our clinic is situated conveniently on Millersville Road just south of the intersection of Route 462 (Columbia Avenue) and Route 741 (Rohrerstown Road). Access to our practice is off of Temple Avenue.

Experiencia fantástica: I found this practice because they have a physical therapist who specializes in vestibular issues. Initially, I was skeptical if therapy would help. After 4 months of working with Gabe, Zowie and Steven, I have achieved the strength, balance and confidence to function without the fear of falling. The entire staff is so supportive, kind and patient. There is not one negative thing I can share about this practice. Very professional, knowledgeable and efficiently run.

Experiencia fantástica: My husband required home PT after a knee replacement last fall. He has other issues which made his recovery difficult. He could not drive to outpatient PT and our primary physician recommended Fox. Cole, our physical therapist, came to our home a few times a week for more than a month. Cole was professional, kind, and enthusiastic about his progress. As his wife & caregiver, I highly recommend Fox, and Cole in particular. We could not have it done it without Cole!

Experiencia fantástica: I was referred by my podiatrist to Mic Bender at Lancaster Physical Therapy and Sports Medicine in early November due to an early misdiagnosed ankle fracture that happened in May. I had continued pain in my foot and ankle. Mic evaluated my foot and ankle and recommended physical therapy and a more supportive shoe. He has done wonders! I am now pain free and so thankful! I can now walk without pain. I can’t recommend Mic and Lancaster Physical Therapy and Sports Medicine enough. All the therapists, assistants and office staff there are so gracious and so willing to help. The atmosphere is calming and reassuring. I highly recommend this place and I will not hesitate to come back here if I need therapy in the future!

Experiencia fantástica: Very thankful for this team and their dedication to every client that walks through the door! Prior to coming in, I was feeling hopeless due to an old ankle injury. I was met with compassion and care and am finally feeling so much better! The team is fantastic and hilarious and made me feel so comfortable. Hoping to not have future injuries; however, if I ever need PT again I will only to to Lancaster Physical Therapy & Sports Medicine. They’re the best!
