Experiencia fantástica: Last year I was diagnosed with two herniated discs. I was experiencing severe pain in my neck and down my right arm, so intense that for several months I was even unable to lay down and had to sleep in a recliner chair. I was advised that I would most likely have to have surgery if physical therapy and injections of cortisone were ineffective relieving my pain. As an adult with a very healthy and relatively active lifestyle, I was deeply concerned with the prospect of having to change my lifestyle due to my condition. I was fortunate enough to have been evaluated by, and receive guidance for physical therapy from Aileen Cuenca-Williams. As a practitioner of the McKenzie Method of Physical Therapy, she indicated the exercises that, if performed regularly, would allow my body to heal itself. Easy, simple exercises that required no equipment or assistance, that I would do at home or at work for a few minutes several times in the day. In a matter of a couple of weeks I had experienced significant improvement, and in less three months I was almost back to normal. No injections or surgery, just the exercises. It's been a bit over a year since my last visit to Aileen’s office and fortunately my recovery has been practically total. To this day I continue to do many of the exercises she recommended on a daily basis, and will continue to do so moving forward. I definitely recommend Aileen and the McKenzie Method, and will be eternally grateful to her.

Experiencia negativa: They have lied and said that it was all about how much you can do that the insurance companies would support but it was about the image Medicare has no claims to such foolishness they said you can go as often as you want Prisma health if there's no increase with you do not trust him

They're very caring, they listen and provide u with knowledge and or tips to help your recovery. Highly recommend Lance and anyone from this location. U will be treated good as soon as u walk in to the building.

The PT I go and see is Lance and he really listens to me when I express how much neck pain I am in. I am very happy that I found him and he has helped relieved the chronic pain that I am having. Experiencia negativa: They should be ashamed to have the word "specialist" in their name. My husband is recovering from a hemorrhagic stroke and is in need of SLP, PT and OT. I was told he could get all three there. To begin with, I received a phone call the day of his scheduled appointment only to be told that his appointment was canceled. This happened FOUR TIMES!!!!!. Finally, in an effort to save any of the muscle strength my husband has, I placed a call to the Manger, urging him to PLEASE try to get him in on another day. He apogized profusely but did absolutely nothing to try to reschedule. If you are looking for a consistent therapy regiment, this is NOT the place for you!!!! They have patients lined up who will accept a mediocre therapist, so there was no love lost when we got out of that place!!! If you want a REAL THERAPY "SPECIALIST" Try Acker Physical Therapy. They have NEVER canceled on my husband and they will cancel on you!!! Ask for Jeremy!!!

Experiencia fantástica: I was lucky to find my way here after a long year of poor results with other treatments, including other physical therapy services. Dr Paige Butts and Susanne (unfortunately I do not have her last name or title - but she was great!) came up with a plan that greatly improved my quality of life. They did a very careful assessment and asked as many questions as it took to come up with the proper protocols for my treatment up front. They were extremely engaged throughout the process and made adjustments on each visit. They took the time to make sure I understood my condition and what makes it better/worse. I can’t think of a time where I’ve been more impressed by and benefited more from any healthcare treatment.

Experiencia fantástica: I was treated there for severe pain in my rt foot in 2017. The pain went away! I was also treated for dropped foot. The therapists there are wonderful; they all receive continuing education. I’m back as of June 2019, being treated for weakness in lower extremities and balance issues. My therapist connected immediately that I aim for a better quality of life. She put me through many tests to gauge my current strengths, and began exercises to target areas of weaknesses. I feel very very motivated. This is very place is unusual and outstanding!

Experiencia fantástica: I have received outstanding care at Research Physical Therapy Specialists! Everyone is professional and helpful, all the way from the front desk to the clinical staff. I have personally been under the care of Johnathan Donley (JD) and he is absolutely amazing! His knowledge and expertise in his field are incredible! Equally as important, he genuinely cares about his patients and values doing whats in their best interest. In today's world of healthcare, it can be difficult to find a professional that truly cares about you, will listen, and spend quality time performing your treatment. The service and personalized attention I have received here have exceeded my expectations and my symptoms have significantly improved! It is so refreshing to find a place that does not treat you like a number. This is a one of a kind office in the Columbia area!

Experiencia fantástica: This is a very professional staff with a diversity of specialties. All the therapists have advanced certifications. They also teach at the University of South Carolina and are very knowledgeable about a lot of different sports, orthopedic and geriatric conditions.
