Over the past 20 years, Roberta and I have dedicated our professional lives to growing MECA Therapies into the most comprehensive pediatric therapy provider in New Mexico.

We have assembled a management team that understands the healthcare landscape of our state and have developed strong working relationships within our state agencies. Our reputation has been built by our entrepreneurial spirit, a high standard of care, and the unified goal of improving the lives of the families and children we serve.

We work with clients and their families in natural settings within the home and community (home, Daycare, etc.) through our Early Childhood Program. We also provide outpatient services through our Children’s Outpatient Clinic in Las Cruces. MECA Therapies believes in building relationships and works closely with the patients and their families to set and meet the goals that are most important to them. We pride ourselves on having a variety of programs and options available for service delivery which helps facilitate smooth transitions from one stage of treatment to another.

MECA Therapies has been great to the improvement of my son’s speech. He started the program with only approximately 39% intelligibility and after 1 month, I can understand over 75% of what he says. Truly amazing. Unfortunately I must move out of the state so I have to discontinue service. However, my son’s therapist has provided a great homework package to continue my son’s development during transition. Thank you Kristen & Peggy! You two are God sent!

Since we have been with MECA some 6 plus years we have become part of a great group of therapists and staff. MECA has a great front end staff that is very nice and efficient. Our therapists are very friendly, caring, and very knowledgeable. We have benefited from our therapies at MECA and have seen improvement that continued to help our children. We give MECA an A++

Experiencia fantástica: My son had a speech delay so we were recommended to this program by family. He had 2 amazing therapists that helped my son speed along with his language. Due to his age he was only in the program for about a year but he went from saying about 20 words to speaking 3 word sentences, counting to ten, saying a new word every few days. I really recommend this program to any family who's child is having speech issues. Wanted to leave a review so hopefully a parent that needs the program will read this and take the step to reaching out to Meca.

Experiencia fantástica: I had my daughter in this program and no my son for physical and speech services. I would highly recommend this program to any parent/guardian if you think your child needs any assistance on meeting milestones. This team will treat your child like their family. They have helped my children so much and continue to amaze us each visit. If I could I’d give them 100 stars.
