Experiencia fantástica: Doctor Shepherd always treats me with respect and maintains a high level of professionalism during all of my.visits with him over the years. He is very knowledgeable concerning all subject matter that has been presented to him concerning my spinal issues. I would highly recommend him to anyone experiencing any type of spinal problems.

Experiencia positiva: Knowledgeable. Kind. Good info. Thoroughly reviewed my MRI. After 2 visits, lots of questions answered well, I chose cortisone shots for my SI joint pain. Procedure went well (results are mixed). Doc seems great. Professional. My only complaint was the appointment setter (who was nice) said something like, “he likes to see an MRI within the last 6 months” and I thought that meant I needed one. But apparently, she probably just meant, “If you have any recent MRIs, please bring them.” I didn’t figure that out until after I had jumped through several hoops and paid $500 for an MRI before my appointment. I’d even asked the appointment setter for clarification as to why he would ask for an MRI but not be willing to order it. Turns out, Dr. Shepherd did not request and did not need this MRI for a diagnosis/prognosis. I was very disappointed about that; when I shared my feedback (suggesting more clarity on word choice) to Dr. S and a woman behind the desk on my way out, the response seemed a bit flaccid. Everything else was great.

Experiencia fantástica: Doctor Shepherd is a really good doctor. He explained to me all my options and what would be the best for me at this point. The check in was easy and fast. Very little waiting time did most of the check in by phone quite and easy. Thanks

Experiencia fantástica: Extremely knowledgeable. Dr. Shepherd took the time to educate me on my situation and helped me navigate the treatment options. I made informed medical decisions after completely understanding pros and cons of each option. I’ve never had a longer or more thorough conversation with a doctor.
