Marywood Nursing Care Center

Experiencia fantástica: My father was a patient here last fall, and received fantastic treatment. We were constantly informed of his status, he was always clean and properly dressed. He was happy, the staff was very attentive to his needs, and the facility was beautiful and clean. While I was there I noticed a plaque on the wall where US News had chosen it for recognition as Best Nursing Home. It is a well deserved honor. My father was discharged from the hospital again recently, and we were extremely disappointed that Marywood had no room for him. The other facility in Livonia he was sent to pales in comparison to Marywood on all counts. It pains us that he could not get back into Marywood. He worked for years as an engineering consultant for the Felician Sisters on projects at Madonna, Angela Hospice, and even the Mother House (I am not sure of he did Marywood, but I believe so). Anyone who’s loved one is in Marywood should feel blessed. We have had experience with several others, and Marywood is the best!

Experiencia fantástica: My mother in law was released to Marywood’s loving care after a long hospital stay. Marywood turned her life around and I truly believe they saved her life! Our family is eternally grateful to the entire staff. Our family could feel the warmth, love and concern as soon as we walked through the door. My mother in law was attended to with perfection. Thank you Marywood!

Experiencia fantástica: My father was at Marywood for rehab. I was so pleased with the care he was given. The staff was amazing and very attentive to him. Although nobody enjoys having to rely on others to take care of them; my father appreciated the care he was given during his stay. He really enjoyed the activities as there well. The facility is beautiful and very well taken care of. Although he really wanted to return to his home, he was in no hurry to leave. I applaud the staff for their excellent care and dedication to their jobs. Job well done!

Experiencia fantástica: My Mom was a patient at Marywood just over a week ago and was there roughly two weeks. From the time she got there to the time of her DC she received wonderful care. My Mom has dementia and just had heart surgery. My Mom who usually just sits at home all day and does nothing but watches TV was going to activities, going to church, and actually enjoying rehab. I am so grateful for the nursing staff, activities department, and the wonderful staff in the rehab department for always encouraging my Mom to participate and do well. I have never seen my Mom so happy and thriving in this environment. We went from a family that was pretty nervous about coming to this type of facility to being happy that we had. I would recommend this place to others and if my Mom ever has a need to go back to a rehab facility I know we will choose Marywood.
