Experiencia fantástica: Ridgecrest Rehab was a wonderful facility to have my elderly mom in Clean, caring, and supportive!

Experiencia fantástica: My Dad regained his independence, confidence and strength while in rehab at Ridgecrest. The staff was compassionate. His physical and occupational therapists were amazing.

Experiencia negativa: My husband and my cousin have stayed at Ridgecrest Rehab. The nursing staff was not very attentive but I was there each day to check on him. The worst was with my cousin. She missed two appointments with her neurosurgeon because transportation was not arranged. The first time we accepted it as an oversight but there was no reason for the second time. She even asked the night before and was assured that transport would be there. This lady had surgical staples that needed to be removed! Her sister finally had to transport her and the doctor was kind enough to see her way beyond her appointment time. If you have another choice for rehab, go there. If you must use this facility, stay vigilant and check constantly on your loved one's care.

Experiencia fantástica: Could not have asked for a more organized clean facility to have my mother stay as opposed to being home. Her bedroom is large and beautiful with her added touch with her art work. All staff extremely nice and helpful. Special thanks to Evette for the wonderful work she does with activities. Each night I talked with her she is giving me the run down of her day as well as celebrating each Holiday with a theme and special days. I feel confident that my mother is safe with me living out of town. Also when I come visit her everyone makes me feel welcome.

Experiencia negativa: I I gave it a one star due to one employee actually the head nurse Ms Tucker. From the very first encounter with Ms Tucker, she was rude and disrespectful. My mother 90 and has some health issues, but her mind is sharp. MsTucker with very little interaction with my mother treated her as if she had dementia. In my first conversation with Ms Tucker, she accused the family of not managing my mother‘s medication. All because my mother was asking about one of the evening medication’s that she takes. The night before I had delivered the medication in their bottles to the center’s Dr. I don’t know if Miss Tucker ever looked at the bottles. Had she had done so she would’ve found that my mother was indeed taking the medication being requested. It took calls to my mother’s primary doctor and then calls from my mother’s primary doctor to the center’s doctor to get the medication straightened out. In our last conversation with Miss Tucker as we were trying to extend the physical therapy, my mother needed, Ms. Tucker once again was rude, disrespectful and acted as if my mother was a burden to the center. The other staff was extraordinary. They were professional. They were respectful, and my mother appreciated their work. It is a shame that one employee such as Ms. Tucker is able to be in the position of head nurse. She should not be working with people.

Experiencia fantástica: Gloria makes things happen. She is concerned about her senior patients. She gives them baths and makes sure they get to the dinning room. Gloria cares about her patients --she is just a sweet person. Evett, Activities Director, super sweet. Takes time in the afternoon with the seniors. She plans a number of activites including movies, ice cream and bingo. Both made my stay at Ridgecreat enjoyable.

Experiencia fantástica: My mom had to go to Ridgecrest for rehab treatment a few weeks ago and although at first she was against it, they were warm and welcoming! The entire staff made her stay seamless and they were all beyond nice and professional! And the facility was beautiful, very well kept and clean. I loved it and so did my mom. It was bittersweet once she was discharged.

Experiencia fantástica: My mother was placed at Ridgecrest for rehab from the hospital. While there she was approved for long term care. She has been there for almost 2 months and we are very pleased with the care she is receiving. She loves the social activities and the interaction with other patients and the staff. Everyone is very nice and helpful. Mother is doing well and seems happy there.

Experiencia fantástica: Praising God for Ridgecrest Rehab & Skilled Nursing Center! It is an amazingly clean place throughout the building, especially in the bedrooms; the administrator, Jennifer Kelley, jumps at any chance to assist in any possible way and is quick to return phone calls; Karen Killingsworth, Social Services, prepared me for the transferring of my Mother over to Ridgecrest because of her testing positive for COVID at another facility--she walked me through every detail--helped me to understand the forms and is also quick to answer any questions or concerns; the nurses were up-to-date with information about my mother's progress; the CNA's seemed thrill to help with window visit and even held the phone for conversations; the PT, OT & Speech Therapist worked hard to give my mother encouragement in transitions, educate the staff regarding her cochlea implant and returned my call--honestly answering my questions; this new facility is beautifully decorated especially the resident's rooms; and the food is amazing!! I never saw my mother without a smile and the people I witnessed that were serving her were always speaking sweetly to her and were gentle and kind. THANK YOU Ridgecrest, for serving so graciously!!

Experiencia negativa: I was interested in obtaining info for possible admit, but Monica was so nasty when answering the phone, geesh NEVER MIND! Admissions never answered nor did anyone come back to the phone. Voicemail wasn't an option, so when I called back, Monica was like, well they just came out of a meeting, I don't know if they're in the office yet and didn't bother to take my info for at least a return call.

Experiencia fantástica: During my mother's extended evaluation for surgery, my mother received rehab services at Ridgecrest Rehab for approximately 4 weeks. During her stay, she received excellent support from social services, physical therapy, nursing and the CNAs. She was treated with compassion and care and we are very satisfied with the level of care and treatment received across the board. Each professional at Ridgecrest went out to their way to act in my mother's best interest. Thanks to all at Ridgecrest!

Experiencia fantástica: We brought my mother from another facility we were not happy with to Ridgecrest. We felt fortunate to get her in as with Covid space was limited. When we brought her to Ridgecrest she was emotionaly withdrawn from the lack of care she recived at the previous facility. Since she got to Ridgecrest she has blossomed back into the woman she was. We can't thank the staff enough and it seems everyone we have met loves their job and puts the patients needs first. We would like to say the names of all the special people who work there but would be afraid to miss someone. Wish Google had a ten star rating. John and Kat Hanna

Experiencia negativa: This place is not what they say they are. They have a skeleton crew, meaning the bare minimum requirements and patients are being NEGLECTED and berated if family members say anything. Do not choose this place for your loved ones. You will regret it.

Experiencia negativa: Please do not send your loved one here. They will just watch them die. Don't be fooled by the looks of the building. The staff is incompetent The D.O.N is rude and obnoxious. They do not care about you concerns for your love one. My loved one had to be sent to the hospital with very bad rash on his bottom, fever, urinary track infection and very badly neglected wound on his leg. Please don't let this happen to your loved one. o. n

Experiencia fantástica: My mother was recently a rehab patient here and I have to say that we had a truly wonderful experience. Mother was treated with kindness, respect and was well taken care of while there. All of the staff we came in contact with from Ms. Pam at the front desk to the nurses and therapy personnel were friendly and helpful and went out of their way to keep us informed, answer questions and provide instruction for assisting mother with her needs when we got her home. In fact, when it came time to leave, my mother wasn't sure she wanted to go as she felt so comfortable and cared for there. If we find ourselves in need of rehab or long term care in the future, we will head righ back to Ridgecrest.
