Tony was born and raised in Kirkland, WA graduating from Lake Washington High School in 1992. After attending Bellevue Community College for a couple of years he transferred to Eastern Washington University and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Sports Medicine in 1996. In 2001 he finished his master’s degree in physical therapy from the University of Washington (GO DAWGS!!!!). While attending Eastern Washington University he developed a passion for endurance athletics through his involvement with the university’s triathlon club. Tony has carried this passion into his clinical work where he specializes in the treatment of endurance athletes including runners, swimmers, and cyclists.
Tony utilizes an extensive patient history and a strong understanding of biomechanics in running, cycling, and swimming with the addition of slow motion video gait analysis and bike fitting (see below for more on video gait analysis and bike fitting) to get to the root cause of endurance athletes injuries. This allows for a more thorough recovery and a quicker re-entry into the patient’s sport while minimizing the risk of re-injury.
Tony started working with NorthSound Physical therapy in 2002 and prior to his transition to our Lake Steven’s office, he managed our Marysville clinic for 7 years.
When not treating patients, Tony spends time with his family. Tony coaches his son’s youth soccer team and spends a great deal of time in the outdoors with his wife and 2 sons. Tony has been involved in endurance athletics since 1994 participating in running events from 5k to 100 miles and ironman distance triathlons.

Northsound Physical Therapy - Lake Stevens: Opiniones
Experiencia fantástica: I wanted to get in some therapy while visiting my son in lake Stevens. NorthSound got me in and they were great! Claudia even emailed me a program to work on when I get back home. They were super nice and very knowledgeable and helpful. I appreciate them a lot!
Experiencia fantástica: Everyone is so friend and helpful. They are very generous with their time and scheduling. Making it very apparent that the patients come first. Their work is top notch! They helped my husband and son years ago after a bad car accident and were awesome then and are helping my son now! With results starting at the first visit. Thank you Tony and the whole staff for taking such good care of our family!
Experiencia fantástica: Each PT at North Sound really takes your rehabilitation as if it was their own. They seek to find the best practices to get each person back to 100%. They are professional, fun and thorough.
Experiencia fantástica: First off ShoutOuts to both Kenzie & Ms Sue!!!! Tony did my 1st day consultation visit which basically is explaining the severity of my injuries, knee injury to be exact, and giving detailed insight of the area of injury. However, Sue & Kenzie were my therapists, mostly Sue. Both are amazing people with amazing souls. I truly mean that. I’ve been here for just shy of 2 months, and they have definitely helped me with me getting my knee where it needed to be. Lastly, don’t let MY two shoutouts take away from all the other amazing people in the office. Everyone welcomes you with open arms. They are essentially their own little family inside here, and they offer their services as if you’re family! ???????????????? Today is my discharge day, and I’m going to miss you all! ????????
Experiencia fantástica: Over the years I've experienced a number of sports injuries and surgeries resulting in minor to extensive rehabilitations. I have been to many P/T offices, several locally in Lake Stevens, and there seems to be a similar theme. I go in, meet with a knowledgeable therapist, they get me started, then hand me off to inexperienced staff. I've been in situations where I felt my being there was a hinderance to their staff's social lives. My experience at Northsound Physical Therapy has been totally different. From the moment I walked through the door I felt like I mattered. Every member of their staff is extremely friendly and knowledgeable, and in those instances when I saw someone other than my original therapist, it was absolutely seamless. My program never skipped a beat. I highly recommend NSPT to all my family and friends! Eric F
