Franciscan Post-Acute Care Center

Experiencia positiva: My mother was a resident of this skilled nursing facility for over 4 yrs, first in Memory Care, and later in Post-Acute, both of which are excellent. This place was an answer to prayer & a Godsend! They're head & shoulders over any facility I know of. They have a personal touch & a warm, inviting environment. They are not about the $$ like many out there. I have health challenges myself & they always worked to accommodate me & made me feel welcome when I visited my mother. The staff there had a relationship with my mom & knew her, she wasn't just another patient to them. The facility is clean & it doesn't have that smell many other facilities do. They have done a wonderful job navigating through the pandemic. While some facilities had horrible outbreaks & losing many patients, that was not the case with them. My mom only diagnosed once & she was fine, with her being administered C.D, and zinc by rx from their doctor. I was quite impressed. They are not 100% perfect but probably as close as one can get! I wish 4.5 stars was an option. The doctor talked to me once when Mom first admitted, but for some reason it did not seem possible to talk to him after that, though I wanted to, so marked down for that. There are some excellent wonderful staff there & I will truly miss seeing them. They knew me when I went to see my mom & they would tell me heart warming stories about my mom whenever I visited, & it was like we were all family. May God bless all of you!

Experiencia fantástica: The first night nobody from Franciscan came to great him the night arrived about 2 hours later …. The food is not appetizing at all. All of the staff and nursing and Anjelica were kind and friendly and were caring .

Experiencia fantástica: I am fully satisfied with the services of everyone, socaring, attentive to my needs ( and I believe to all the other residents too ) and they keep the surroundings clean. Choices of food being served needs improvement.

Experiencia fantástica: I was admitted mid July 2023 after being transferred from Mercy hospital and have nothing but praise for my 12 day stay. The staff should be given kudos all around. I was a little concerned at first since I had never had this type of care but the entire staff from maintenance, nursing, PT and OT, the kitchen, and especially the administrator who was kind enough to rescue a very important Amazon package that had gone astray. I might need a readmission in the near future and I gladly give these guys 6 stars if I could.

Experiencia positiva: Mom was at Franciscan for 6 weeks. She felt ALL the staff had training in how to be positive and they were all very caring. Ryan (Rehab Director) was a great listener, very caring, helpful and so good at helping with rehab—he and the other rehab people made it fun, but they also watched to make sure they weren’t making mom do too much. Ryan was instrumental in helping mom and I decide what she would need at discharge so I was able to get a few things set up for her before she was discharged. Bethany worked with Ryan and made the discharge process smooth, answering all my questions! Brian (Facility Director) was always pleasant to talk to from when my sister and I toured before mom got there and each time I stopped in to discuss something. Mom told me he remembers every resident’s name and I believe it! I also believe “attitude reflects leadership” and it is obvious all the staff like caring for patients and get along well with each other! The only reasons I am marking this review as 4 instead of 5 is (1) for the food…mom rarely was able to eat their food (I made sure she had protein bars and often brought her meals). And (2) I never got to talk to her doctor who may have seen her once, but I requested a call a few times during her last week and a half but I never got a call.
