At Merced Behavioral we recognize the value of every person and are guided by our commitment to excellence in our goal of improving the mental and emotional state of the individuals we serve.

Our main emphasis is placed on helping our residents gain an understanding of their illness and helping acquire the necessary coping skills for successful community placement.

Our nursing department provides excellent care combined with dignity for our residents. Professionally staffed around the clock, we give your loved one comfort and specialized care.

We strive to keep our residents as active as they can be by providing gentle, structured daily activities customized to meet our resident’s unique individual needs.

Our Special Treatment Program provides rehabilitative services for residents with a diagnosis of a major mental illness. We provide 24-hour nursing care for our residents by our psychiatric nursing staff. The STP provides 16 hours of structured programming daily provided by our professionally trained staff.
