The team at St. Luke's Rehabilitation offers both orthopedic and neurologic rehabilitation services with specialists in physical, speech-language and occupational therapy.

Orthopedic therapy helps you recover from an injury or surgery, and can improve functional movement when you have a chronic condition. We can address a wide range of issues, including arthritis, work injuries, sports injuries, urinary incontinence, speech and communication issues, vestibular and balance issues, recovery from cancer treatment, and pain management. Occupational therapy can help you with the work of daily life.

Neurologic therapy is the treatment and rehabilitation of patients with neurological disorders or conditions caused by neurological trauma or illness. Our areas of focus include:

Chris Asplund, PT, DPT, OCS is a physical therapist specializing in treatment of orthopedic conditions. He has experience treating a wide variety of conditions, including spine and extremity injuries. He enjoys working with people to develop individualized plans to recover and return to everything that they love to do.

Chris received his bachelor’s degree in exercise science from Oregon State University and doctorate of physical therapy from the University of Southern California. He has also completed an orthopedic physical therapy residency with Agile Physical Therapy in Palo Alto, California.

Amanda Barnes, OTR/L, CBIS specializes in adult neurological rehabilitation. She treats many conditions, including stroke, traumatic or acquired brain injury, concussion, and movement disorders. She is also a certified brain injury specialist.

Amanda wants her patients to live their best lives, and uses specific therapies like Neuro-Visual Postural Therapy, Neuro-IFRAH®, Saebo, neuromuscular re-education, mirror therapy, assessment of driving-related skills, and Interactive Metronome®.

Amanda earned her bachelor's degree from Boise State University in health science studies and her master's degree in occupational therapy from Touro University Nevada.

Andrea Goldberger, MPT, PRPC specializes in pelvic health and is a certified pelvic rehabilitation practitioner. Her practice centers around the treatment of patients with urinary incontinence, fecal incontinence, and chronic pelvic pain. She enjoys partnering with her patients to both educate and help them achieve their highest possible quality of life.

Andrea earned her master’s degree in physical therapy from Northern Arizona University. In her free time, she avidly pursues back country skiing, mountain climbing, backpacking, and reading.

Abby Jorgensen, PT, DPT is a licensed physical therapist with special interest in both orthopedic and pelvic health conditions. She enjoys working with individuals in all different stages of life and implements treatment plans customized to each person’s goals. Her objective is to empower her patients and give them the tools to help themselves return to the activities they love.

Abby earned her doctorate degree from Idaho State University. In her free time, she enjoys exploring the outdoors and taking advantage of everything that Idaho has to offer with her husband and dog.

Hannah Maus, PT, DPT is a licensed physical therapist with an interest in outpatient orthopedic rehabilitation. She works with a range of conditions, including sports and orthopedic injuries and surgeries, weakness and falls, and neck and back pain. She enjoys educating her patients in self-treatment and helping people safely return to full participation and the management of activity throughout their lives.

Greg Meyer, LCSW is a licensed clinical social worker and certified brain injury specialist with experience in family and children services, adult mental health, and traumatic brain injury care. His areas of expertise include solution brief focused therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, EMDR, and motivational interviewing. Greg is dedicated to helping individuals and families with community resources, disability benefits, education, counseling, and transitioning back to community/work/school. He is also a liaison for the Brain Injury Association of Idaho and helps facilitate their monthly support groups.

Connor Meyerhoeffer, PT, DPT, CSCS has a professional interest in outpatient orthopedic rehabilitation, and treats a wide variety of orthopedic conditions, including sports injuries and return to sport, orthopedic injuries and surgeries and low back pain.

Connor enjoys educating his patients about relevant regional anatomy, possible causes for their pain, and how to self-manage and progress after completing physical therapy. He blends his physical therapy knowledge with his strength and conditioning background to achieve optimal outcomes for his patients.

Connor earned his bachelor’s degree in exercise science from Dixie State University, graduating summa cum lauda. He earned his doctorate in physical therapy from Idaho State University, receiving the Outstanding Student Award for his graduating class. In his free time, he enjoys spending quality time with his friends and family, staying active with exercise, and enjoying his hobbies, including golf and basketball.

Faith Morton Phelps, PT, DPT has experience treating many conditions, including sports and orthopedic injuries and surgeries; weakness, falls, or other balance concerns; headaches; and neck and back pain. She enjoys working with her patients as individuals to help them return to full participation in every aspect of their lives while preventing future injury.

Andrea Trask, PT, DPT, OCS is a board-certified orthopedic clinical specialist focusing on both orthopedic and women’s pelvic health conditions. She applies a whole-body movement system approach to treating any diagnosis, and is particularly interested in conditions of the lower body, especially the low back, pelvis, hip and foot/ankle. She particularly enjoys working with pregnant and postpartum women dealing with pain and pelvic dysfunction to help them maintain an active lifestyle throughout their childbearing years. Her goal is to empower her patients to become their own best therapist by actively listening, educating, and building a simple and efficient home treatment plan that helps each patient move more, move better, and move with less pain.

Andrea earned her doctorate in physical therapy from the University of Washington. She spends her free time outdoors running, hiking, biking, camping, and snowboarding with her husband, kids, and their dog.

Allison Urbatchka, PT, DPT specializes in outpatient neurologic rehabilitation for a variety of diagnoses including Parkinson’s disease, Multiple Sclerosis, stroke, cerebral palsy, neuromuscular disorders, Guillain-Barre syndrome and CIDP. She endorses a team-centered approach focused on providing the proper tools for patients to recover from, and learn how to manage, their own diagnosis to better serve all involved in these complex medical conditions. 

Allison earned both her bachelor's degree and her doctorate of physical therapy from Northern Arizona University. She is an APTA board certified Neurologic Clinical Specialist, Certified Brain Injury Specialist, LSVT BIG-certified clinician and Level II Credentialed Clinical Instructor. She is an active member of APTA Idaho and chair of the Nominating Committee.
