Milford Vascular Institute has wonderful professionals there. Everyone is super nice and treat you very caringly. They let me come in right away. Which I appreciated. I recommend them to everyone.
Dr Davis is caring, thorough and an absolute professional. The office supervisor Jada is an unbelievable communicator and cares for the patients just as much. Very blessed to have found this office.
I always have very good visits here. It is a great place. They greeted me and everyone was very polite and friendly. Registration was quick, and they called me to the back almost immediately. The nurses were kind, gentle and sensitive to my needs. They took great care of me, and I will continue to come back.
All of the staff are amazing and truly care about you. I have referred at least 6 if not more people here and they all are very pleased. I only choose the best doctors to go to and this office is one of them!
This place is amazing! They have done such a wonderful job taking care of my health needs with my veins such an improvement between how they look function and FEEL!
Milford Vascular Institute is a group of very caring professionals. At the first visit Dr. Davis took the time to explain the entire procedure to me, so I would know what to expect. Dr. Davis and staff removed any anxiety that I might have had. I would highly recommend this group.
Dr. Davis, I just wanted to thank you for giving me my legs back!! I went to the eye doctor today and was able to walk around the mall 4 times!! My legs felt great and I wasn’t fatigued and no SOB while walking. At work I walk a lot but it’s in short distances. I haven’t been able to walk long distances for years. I also found a type of compression socks that seem to “agree” with me because I want to keep all of the hard work you all did in good condition! ???? Sylvia and all of your RVTs are wonderful (and you too, of course) and I’m so glad that I had the procedures done. Thanks again, Kristin.
We use the most advanced treatments to help restore healthy circulation to the wound, while using state-of-the-art techniques to encourage quick healing.
The NS100 nerve stimulation device helps stop the pain and discomfort in your legs and feet due to diabetic neuropathy for up to 6 months after placement.
After the deeper malfunctioning veins have been closed using the above procedures, large varicose veins that remain can be physically removed using the ambulatory phlebectomy procedure.
A tiny needle is inserted into the vein, and a foam medication is injected directly into the vein. The medication causes the veins to shrivel up and close.
Peripheral arterial disease, also known as PAD, is a condition in which plaque builds up inside the leg arteries. This causes a constriction of blood flow within the artery.
When blood flow to the legs becomes constricted due to PAD it can result in leg pain and leg cramps while walking. Left untreated, it can eventually lead to gangrene and amputation. So early diagnosis and treatment of peripheral arterial disease is crucial to maintaining good vascular health.
Here at Milford Vascular Institute, we offer free PAD screenings all year round. Give us a call at (203) 418-7386 to schedule your free screening today.
Iliac vein compression, also known as May-Thurner Syndrome is a condition in which the iliac vein becomes compressed between the iliac artery and the spine.
When the iliac vein becomes compressed, it restricts blood flow from the legs to the heart, causing blood to accumulate in the leg. The result is stagnant blood pooling in the leg, causing leg swelling, pain, and a multitude of other negative effects.
With the use of IVUS intravascular ultrasound for precision, during May-Thurner Syndrome treatment, our vascular surgeon opens up the iliac vein by placing a stent in the exact location where the iliac vein was being compressed.
