Experiencia positiva: Nurses seemed overloaded or uncaring?Wait time for pain meds sometimes was over 30 minutes.Twice heard other patients threatening to call 911.Roomate’s bed kept malfunctioning,many overhead lights didn’t work,room computer kept glitching.Asked for an ice bag and was told they were out of them. Spent a week in the hospital and had to ask a friend to bring me hygiene cleaning toilettes. Blood draw cap removed wrong & my blood splattered the bed. Finally, had to ask for clean sheets.IV blew out but was covered in wrap & got infected. Primary care doctor had to treat the infection.My surgical bandages were never checked even though they were oozing. I understand you’re a Christian hospital and yet Christmas Day passed with no wish of a Merry Christmas, not one Christmas song, nor a special Christmas dinner or even a decorated cookie. I know your hospital is impacted with too many people and a new hospital is desperately needed, but my week there was a horrible experience.

Experiencia fantástica: Emergency rooms are always chaotic and long wait times, I was blown away by the attention we received the moment we walked in and how quickly the team at Providence Mission acted! During our stay the service was above and beyond. Thank you for making an unfortunate circumstance be more peaceful to navigate

Experiencia fantástica: I was born at this location back in 1986 when it was a much smaller Hospital & have been to this location several times since then. My most recent visit was back in August 2019 when my mother had an unexpected & life threatening hemorrhagic stroke which she stayed here for two weeks before being transferred to another facility to continue the next steps of her recovery. It was an extremely scary situation of course, but they did a great job controlling the bleeding, as well as everything else they could do. They unfortunately had to keep her in a coma for most of her stay due to seizure activity in her brain, but eventually got that under control. She suffered another hemorrhage six months later, but in the same spot in her head. The COVID-19 pandemic started soon after her second spell happened & put her recovery on hold for months as we weren't allowed to see her in person, but she's been doing fine as of March 2024. She's been staying at a Nursing facility in Santa Ana. She has mostly recovered since then as she's eating three meals a day & her speech is normal, but she's still not walking yet. We've had her home for the day on some special occasions, but I don't know if she'll ever live at home ever again. She's 76 now, but always has been a strong & very healthy & active woman especially for her age. Only time will tell, but I am thankful everyday that my family & I still have her around.

Experiencia fantástica: Went there for a program tour and the area e we liked the most was the cafeteria, lol???? The food is so good and the servers are super friendly and nice. They have hot fresh food and self serve salads, cold drinks, and snacks. Really nice. Huge hospital.

Experiencia fantástica: I went to the ER today. The complete staff was tremendous. From check in to the M.D. Matthew. It is refreshing to know in the time in which we live. People care. Especially when we are at our worst and crying out for help. Great job!!! Thank you for your kindness and extreme care.
