Established by Kate & Jody Skinner in 2013, Great Divide Physical Therapy is a locally owned and operated clinic in Missoula, Montana. We are a collection of therapists who value each and every patient and are dedicated to our patient’s success.
Established in Missoula, MT in 2013, Great Divide Physical Therapy believes in the philosophy that patient care should be effective, educational, and efficient and patients should take an active role in their health. Over the last ten years our therapists, staff, and patients have been living and improving on that mission.
“My brother had an excellent experience with Dr. Skinner to change his walking mechanics after a previous knee surgery. He suggested I see what Dr. Skinner could do for me. I live 800 miles from Missoula but scheduled an appointment with Dr. Skinner when we visited Missoula in March 2013. Dr. Skinner was able to use ASTYM and other techniques to gain a significant increase in my range of motion. Dr. Skinner was able to increase my dorsiflexion and helped me regain a normal range of motion in my ankle.”

Kate listens closely to your concerns, gives you exercises to continue the healing process, and explains the nature of your problems so there is little confusion. They are the best in town.
Experiencia fantástica: After going to four doctors, which included an MRI and X-ray, the doctors' agreed there was swelling in my knee, but that they couldn't do anything to help me except for painful knee injections that did not work. I was feeling defeated until a friend suggested Great Divide. Within 15 minutes with Kate, I had a diagnosis and was on my way to recovery. She was thorough, understanding, reassuring, and open to questions. She always told me what to expect with my knee, so that I was fully prepared and knew exactly what to do. My knee has gained strength and we are now working on endurance, but most importantly, I no longer have pain and have my quality of life back. I highly recommend Great Divide!
