Experiencia fantástica: I came to South Carolina to be closer to my daughter after suffering a spontaneous fracture of my thoracic spine and in a very debilitative state. My fibromyalgia and chronic fatigue had resurfaced after a hiatus of almost two years and I was weaning off pharmaceuticals. My entire being was on high alert and my PTSD was unmanageable. I had already been to two other therapists - one too aggressive, the other totally ineffective - and I was quickly losing hope. Then I found Vicky and have been transformed. God has blessed Vicky Connelly, physical therapist and owner of Coastal Therapeutics, with gifted hands and an intuitive sense that, in my opinion, is a rarity in the field of healthcare today. Vicky’s ability to listen and evaluate - not just at the first visit but as you present and symptoms evolve - is what sets her apart from all others. I have been a difficult case for a number of reasons, not the least of which was fear of re-injury, but Vicky has guided me in proper body mechanics and recommended exercises that are simple and effective. In addition to manual therapy and ultrasound, she uses electrical stimulation to reduce pain levels and encourage mind/body healing. She manages her time well and I am never kept waiting. Her staff is friendly and efficient and the resident therapy dog, Ozzie, is a little bundle of pure joy. I cannot recommend this woman enough - you will not find a more gifted therapist!
