Northwest Community Healthcare Immediate Care at Mount Prospect

Experiencia fantástica: This place was an absolute miracle. I walked in at 7 o clock, pretty much expecting to be turned away because they close at 8. The receptionist, Laura, was so kind and compassionate and told me she thought she could give me one of the last two slots. She was incredibly efficient, personable and actually made me laugh, which was an incredible feat given how awful I felt. She updated my information quickly. Within five minutes of sitting down, another very kind soul, a nurse with awesome pink hair, whisked me in the back and took note of my symptoms, tested me, and whisked me back to the waiting room. I very much appreciated that they tested me before taking me back so I wouldn’t have to wait for results. Efficiency again noted. Less than 10 minutes later, the nurse called me back, took my vitals, and double-checked symptoms. Less than 10 minutes after that, Dr.Regina Williams came in and had such a relaxed and kind presence. She delivered my diagnosis and took her time checking me over, even though she has to be completely exhausted, along with the rest of them, and could have rushed through. Honestly wouldn’t have blamed her. Instead, she went out of her way to find the first dosage of antibiotics to give me in office and called it in (even though it was past closing time) so I didn’t have to wait for my rx. I was in and out in an hour. Truly, such a kind, compassionate, and efficient team. I normally steer clear of doctors, and I would NEVER take the time to write a review, but they were truly such a blessing to me tonight. Thank you
