Professional Physical Therapy in Massapequa has been treating patients since 2021 and offers many different types of rehabilitation services to relieve pain. The clinic has a wide open floor plan with about 3,212 square feet to treat patients with plenty of room. We have no stairs to enter inside or outside of clinic; a ramp is available for easy access and wheelchair accessibility.

We are located near the LIRR and the NICE bus stop. The NICE bus top is located by the bank, within walking distance to the clinic. We are about half a mile from the Massapequa Park LIRR stop.

Jonathan found his passion for helping others alleviate pain and accomplish their functional goals to return to the active lifestyle that individuals desire while finishing up schooling at Stony Brook University. While working at an outpatient physical therapy clinic, specialized in treating neurological conditions, Jonathan finished up his Doctorate from Husson University in Bangor Maine.

Jonathan assisted in the opening and development of the Fleetwood Professional Physical Therapy clinic in 2018. The goal was to create a warm and welcoming environment implementing evidence-based treatment using manual therapy, exercise and active treatment, and patient education. The office continues to successfully treat and allow return to optimal health and function for countless individuals each year.

Dr. Basile is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) and actively participates in education as a clinical instructor. Additionally, Jonathan’s research was published in the Journal of Orthopaedic and Sports Physical Therapy (JOSPT).

Butch was the head physical therapist and president of Farmingdale Physical Therapy West. Before starting with Professional Physical Therapy he had over thirty years of experience owning and operating Farmingdale Physical Therapy Associates. He is an innovator in private practice and outpatient care for 45 years now. He received a BS in Physical Therapy from SUNY Stony Brook and a degree of Doctor of Physical Therapy with distinction, from Simmons University.

Butch is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA). He is also a member of the professional division of the International Sports Sciences Association (ISSA), for which he received an honorary award of Master of Fitness Science. Butch is a member of the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA), and also a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS).
