RooT Fx Strength Training(RST) is used to stabilize and strengthen weak muscles and stiff joints after you learn to release tension patterns. The strengthening reinforces the positive changes from the Tension Release Training. RST is a progressive step that occurs after you learn to release tension and increase your range of motion. Once you learn to release tight muscles and joints, the natural progression is to strengthen the muscles so the changes become more lasting.

Experiencia fantástica: If you have rsi, persistent back stiffness, joint aches, or other muscular problem that isn't going away on its own, you need to see Michael. I've had all of these problems and his approach to recovery works better than anywhere else I've been. He uses massage to identify muscle groups that need work (which may or may not be adjacent to the areas you are having pain), and works with you to develop an exercise routine that simultaneously strengthens and relaxes your muscles. I have nerve damage in my groin from a surgery that causes me severe chronic pain and he's been able to help me keep my groin relatively mobile while still developing strength in other parts of my body and managing my rsi. Many pt places I've been to look up what exercises they want you to do from a book and follow the schedule the book recommends without understanding why; I reinjured myself numerous times working with cookbook physical therapists. Michael can explain exactly what he's asking you to do, why, and tell you how to recognize if you're doing it wrong.
