Experiencia fantástica: This is a great local Kaiser Medical Center. Convenient parking and a broad range of services. Got my two yearly shots (flu &.covid) in about 15 minutes total.

Experiencia negativa: I always experience 40 mins to 1 hour delay from my appointment time even though I arrive and check in right on time. I really feel I am wasting my time on this. And they don't even say sorry for waiting. I was going to feed my infant baby right after the appointment and due to delaying of appointment, my baby had to be starving. And finally I decided to feed her while I was waiting, the nurse called us. I was feeding baby right that time and nurse didn't say sorry and also she said baby needs to stop eating formula. It was so ridiculous. They made us to wait 50 mins and they couldn't wait 5 mins for finishing feeding baby. The doctor couldn't even find my baby has first 2 teethes. Never got any information of how to manage first baby teeth. Very disappointed about them.

Experiencia negativa: Very poor service I came for nurse visit and they kept me in a room What 30 minutes I came in just to pick up a orthopedic boot and they say they didn’t have it after 30 minutes been waiting in a room. I told the nurse that the reason that I was there is because they call me last week to tell me it was ready to pick up then she say they don’t have it they need to call the doctor to get Approve approval to order I told her did they call me and tell me there was already ready to pick it up. She went in the back. Came back with it and say sorry very poor service. They look like they’re overbooked!

Experiencia fantástica: I spoke with a representative from the corona call center for KP on 6/18. I want to say her name was Tonya or Ona (she is from Nebraska) if a manager sees this please give her the recognition she deserves. She was absolutely amazing. She was patient for working in a call center, had humor, and was knowledgeable. She answered all of my questions, provided me insight into my membership coverage, and when my plan will expire for being dual covered. She had a great personality, upbeat, positive, and was very professional. It was nice to talk to somebody through the phone that recognized me as a human rather than another call in Que. It made my day.

Experiencia negativa: Terrible customer service, the company clearly doesn't care for its clients nor employees calling in to request information. I've called 3 times trying to speak to a department and all 3 time have been sent over to a phantom line or had the called dropped with no response. I wouldn't recommend a kaiser plan to anyone.

Experiencia negativa: The receptionist was very friendly! However, the nurses who helped me ignored me. They did not listen to what I had to say and told me to leave and reschedule because the doctor did not have time to see me today despite having this appointment for three weeks. They also told me that the rescheduled appointment had to be a phone call and when I asked if it could be in person they said “so it’s not as urgent as you said it was?” incredibly rude. I don’t understand how someone could deny me service in a medical building. The entire time they were incredibly judgmental of me and seemingly wanted to kick me out as soon as possible. They did help me with one of the things that concerned me which I’m grateful for but the other two, the ones that are preventing me from working, they did not even let me talk about them. They just asked me to leave and reschedule with my primary doctor, the same doctor who told me to come see this department.

Experiencia negativa: I’ve been to lots of Kaiser’s and Corona’s Kaiser is the worst. The people working there are rude and lazy. I wanted to reschedule and they refused to help because I had to call them? Doesn’t make sense. I took my baby and he never cries. I always get compliments on his behavior every-time I go but the doctor made my son cry and was choking him during his examination just to hold him still. The waiting time was horrible I got there on time for my appointment and had to wait an hour just to be seen!

I normally faint when I get my blood drawn so I was nervous . She did small talk, kept asking if I was ok, got me water afterwards *she asked*, & she made sure I got up ok to walk . THANK YOU <3

Experiencia negativa: It's really sad how the nurses and staff seem very miserable. They are NOT friendly at all! I've had such a bad experiance with the lady at the front desk for the LAB. I'm sure I'm not the only one that has had the same experience. She should not be have a quote of GOD if when she acts extreamly ungodly. Very disappointed, I would not recommend!

Experiencia negativa: If I could give it 0 stars I would. Worst experience ever!! $1,000 ER visit and they couldn’t diagnose what I already knew. They weren’t listening and prescribing medication I did not need! When asked how I felt when I was going home I left feeling the same! Sat there for an hour for nothing. When I was being discharged and being changed my copay it was way too high. Keep being bugged to go back to get more unnecessary tests done for no reason and I get a random bill of outstanding amount? Why not just be charged the full amount then and there Makes zero sense! Absolutely horrible experience. Cancelling my insurance with them right away. Would never recommend to anyone!

Experiencia fantástica: Our PCP is Doctor Misty Cool. We have been with Kaiser for over 10 years. We recently switched to Dr. Cool because we are both diabetic and she has a particular interest in this condition. We have been really happy with Dr. Cool. She listens, makes suggestions, and shows a real interest in making our health and lives better. She is a great doctor and we hope to stay with her for a long time.

Experiencia fantástica: My family and I have had Kaiser Permanente for 50 years now and I have seen it grow into what it is today. Their staff has always been caring and very attentive to details. I do think that you have to be your own advocate for any of your health concerns. If you want to change Doctors, for what ever reasons, they always accommodate your wishes. We have had several occasions to use their surgery services and rehabilitation services. Very caring after surgery care. Physical Therapy, that was offered during COVID-19, was great, even on Zoom. Love Kaiser, don’t ever want to change. Thanks Kaiser!!

Experiencia negativa: horrible doctors, long wait times for issues with medication and a good chance of being denied a no work order for a problem they caused. I wish I didn't get them in the first place when I first applied two years ago.
Experiencia negativa: They just wanna give you pills... I had a therapist that was more interested in her computer than listening to what I had to say. I don't like to talk. To be ignored... You can imagine how I felt. The "extreme case" group was the only beneficial part.

Pricilla helped me to get my test strips for my blood counter for my diabetes , I wasn’t able at first to refill my order because it was to early she asked why I was ordering sooner than expected I told her I was being seen by Dr. Nim in Endocrinology and was asked to check sugar 4to 5 times a day . That’s why I have to reorder more strips sooner . Experiencia negativa: Was trying to see a doctor to find out if I had autism and waited for 1-2 months to finally get the appointment. I accidentally ran late for it and lady at front desk told me she wouldn’t see me. Yes I was late but I’m not waiting 1-2 months again just to do a screening. Kaiser’s mental health care facilities are terrible.
Experiencia negativa: I’ve been with Kaiser for 20 years, and I can confidently say that Kaiser cares about its members less and less. I have seen a very sharp decline in wait times and quality of service. The access to doctors and especially specialists is becoming a joke. In just one month, I have had two appointments cancelled last minute. I had to take the day off each time. Literally, they called me less than 3 hours before my appointment, and the only option was to schedule another appointment 10 days out. I will probably drop dead from a stroke before then, considering I am pregnant with high blood pressure. Thanks Kaiser for making it worth my money (NOT!) and my time to be with you guys. Whoever the CEO is, he/she is slacking and lacking the vision to reevaluate how they take care of their patients. He/she is making poor decisions that do not lead to improvements for the members. They lead to decline in patient health and quality of service. Being a teacher I use recommend Kaiser my family, friends and parents of my students. I must say in saddnessthat I will be looking for a new health care provider next open enrollment.

Experiencia negativa: I’m so frustrated! My daughter has had 3 hypo manic episodes less than 2 months been hospitalized and has been in a mental hospital hold for 14 days. When she was released To the Dr.s at kaiser the following day the Psychiatrist didn’t have the paperwork in hand she said sorry I’m not your phychiatrist but I’ll notate that I advise for you to take one full tablet knowing that she wasn’t making any sense knowing that she still wasn’t in a stable condition she did absolutely nothing. The medications are obviously not working and I fear for my daughters life and safety in the care of these Dr.s that don’t seem to have an urgency. I’m trying to admit my daughter inpatient to get proper treatment and a proper diagnosis but Kaiser doesn’t have any facilities that they network with to provide these options.
Experiencia negativa: I have had a lot of issues with Kaiser. Not all are from this specific office, but most of them are. I went to this office and was prescribed an antidepressant. I told them I would be going back to school, out of state, and if they could send my future prescriptions to a pharmacy near my school. They said no, but that my only option would be to get it refilled in Corona then have my mom pick it up and mail it to me. "We have tons of college kids who do this" they said. "Okay, that's fine, I'll do that." One month later, I call to refill my prescription. They say that I have no medications on file! I tell them about my prescription, and they look it up, saying, "We have in our records that this medication was terminated for you a month ago." I was prescribed it a month ago! Okay, maybe because this is a new prescription, they won't do refills unless I talk to my psychiatrist and tell them how it's working for me? So I call and ask for them to call me with a phone appointment. 12 hours later a nurse calls back and says, "Sorry, we can't get you an appointment with your psychiatrist. She says to go see a psychiatrist out there and get represcribed the medicine." Well, the first visit to a psychiatrist is $500 out of pocket unless you have insurance. I have the "Best" insurance there is, Kaiser Permanente. Unfortunately, they're too cheap to send me to a doctor out here, and they're too unorganized to let me talk to a doctor in California. And I don't have a basic plan with Kaiser. I have their highest, most expensive plan they offer. This isn't the only problem I've encountered. A few months ago I had severe problems with my tonsils. They were constantly swollen and painfully bleeding. I asked the office if they would cover me seeing a doctor near my school, and after transferring my call several times, they said they wouldn't cover it. My only option is to pay out of pocket or to fly to California. So, after looking at the options, I spent a couple hundred dollars to fly to California. The specialist told me to get my tonsils removed, and they scheduled me for about a month out. So I flew back to school to catch up on my classes. I then flew back to California for the surgery. I would have flown back a week or two later, when I had recovered, but my throat started bleeding again, and I had to go to the ER, get put under anesthesia a second time in one week, and have bleeding holes in my mouth stitched up and recauterized.

Experiencia fantástica: Very impressed! I walked in looking for an ER due to some potentially life threatening symptoms. I asked the lady at the front desk where the closest ER was, she asked me a couple quick questions about what was going on, and had a nurse immediately triage me. The nurse was supposed to have gone on her lunch break, but stayed with me for almost an hour to make sure I was stable. They ran some tests and set an appointment with a doctor within the hour. They are not an emergency facility, but every professional I encountered today went above and beyond to help me while I was having a medical emergency. I am very grateful to them all.

Experiencia negativa: ***INCOMPETENT COUNSELOR NAMED DANIELLE*** My experience with Kaiser behavioral health department has been stressful and disappointing to say the least. Mainly due to an incident involving one specific counselor named DANIELLE. Poor communication amongst health care providers plagues this department from my recent experiences. If you're in need of counseling for yourself or a loved one please do not allow DANIELLE to treat you. Very unprofessional, uncaring, dismissive and extremely rude woman. Expressionless! Flat affect! The worst possible individual to treat a minor. Its like trying to have a conversation with a door knob! Health care providers should research patients chart prior to visit to check if patient has had a change in condition. This is best practice when working in patient care. ESPECIALLY PSYCHIATRY!! This allows for provider to be aware of patients current mental state. I know from my 10+ years experience as a health care provider. No brainer right?! Due to Danielles incompetence and lack of empathy she has put my family member in danger. I URGE any mother or father looking for counseling for their at risk teen to avoid choosing DANIELLE as a counselor.

Experiencia negativa: This Kaiser does not care about your appointment times. We make an appointment and show up 15 minutes early and for the third time in a row we don't get seen until 45 minutes after the appointment time. Please get more staff for the pregnant women. My wife is 6 months pregnant and should not have to sit in the waiting room for an hour just to go back & then sit for another 20 minutes. You need to keep more staff on towards the end of the day maybe? I'm getting frustrated with this Kaiser

Experiencia negativa: I've been a patient of Kaiser my whole life and they never failed me until I needed their mental health services. I've been trying to get an appointment with Kaiser Corona Psychiatry for over a year now. I was being seen at Kaiser for several years prior and at every appointment I was prescribed a new medication that did nothing so I already have my grievances with the psychiatry department here but cannot leave Kaiser. Now that I want to address my issues again and receive proper treatment, I'm being given the run around. Every time I call I'm either unable to make an appointment, get an appointment that the staff cancels or pushes to another date outside my availability, puts me on a waiting list where I never get a call back or gives me the wrong appointment for my needs. I'm beyond frustrated with their inability to help me. Mental health concerns need to be addressed sooner than later, and and at Kaiser they've made me feel even worse and humiliated by not helping me for so long.

Experiencia fantástica: My husband is so very fortunate to have Dr. Koontz as his primary care physician. Due to my husband's problems, the diagnosis was complicated, but Kaiser always proved to attentive, appropriate and professional. I have been a Kaiser member for over 30 years; my husband, only for 3 years. He can't believe that he 'put up' with non-Kaiser docs for all the years he did. What a difference. There is nowhere you'll get better care.

Experiencia negativa: The pain management program is not good for me! I went in excited to learn new ways to deal with pain issues. Born w spina bifida occulta w tethered cord syndrome.... Over the yrs pain has increased. Well I went in never once was examined. They type away as you explain your situation. What I said compared to what they type is so off. Very abrasive Drs. Especially dr ruff & dr Amanda Barker. They treated me like crap. I did everything they asked of me. They were very rude. Seemed to be the judge and jury. Now just going to a kaiser facility gives me stress. i have so much more I could say. I'll save the rest for others to experience, I really hope no one has to go thru what I have endured.
Kaiser Permanente's number one priority is to provide high quality health care to its members. Sometimes, members don't agree with their providers on the recommended care, and they leave the facility dissatisfied. Experiencia negativa: If i could put a zero i would . Im a new member to kaiser and i have been taking my wife in for check ups and shes been taking medicine that have taken months do find the right mix for her and since i moved to kaiser they are trying to change them to generic brands know rhat the ones shes taking already work perfect for her. They dont worry about the patients well been but in wich way they can cut cost and give the less expensive medicines.

Experiencia negativa: I like the service when I can get it. If you have a mental health issue that you need continued support on stay away from Kaiser. You're lucky if you can get an appointment in even a few months. It took me 5 months before I got in to see a psychologist and I'm lucky if now I can get an appointment less than a month in advance. My psychiatrist and psychohistory are wonderful but the lack of availability is a huge downfall.
